The Princess With The Jet Black Hair - Chapter 66 Chapter 19
“…Luckily, I have a spare set.” Damian muttered under his breath as he stuffed a spare beige cloak into his backpack. He placed a mask on his face and carried the backpack before taking a peek out at the living room, thankfully, no one was awake yet.
He then walked to Emily’s room, he slowly swung the door open to see that she was still asleep. He looked over to her study table, where the bracelet he gave her was nicely placed on there. He silently walked in and grabbed the bracelet, which was actually a tracking device. More specifically, the tracking device was disguised as one of the gemstones. He pulled that ‘gemstone’ out and placed it in his back pocket.
He made his way back to his room to write a short note:
“I went for a walk, I’ll be back soon.
-Damian”
He placed it on table, beside his bed. Quietly, he opened the window from his room and went out he house from there. He walked to main street to see, thankfully, only a few people in some dark alley doing some… um, things.
Whipping his head back, he jumped onto a moderately high building, so that no one would notice him travelling from a one building to another at dawn because, that was definitely not normal sight. He moved swiftly from building to building, at a speed that a human could not catch up with.
“The Fiorentina headquarters should be pretty far so I should move faster.” He thought to himself as he accelerated his speed.
Just as he passed by a café, he purposely dropped the tracking device down to the roof of a café, before continuing his planned journey.

After an hour or less of travelling on feet, he finally saw the headquarters. He took out the beige cloak and put it on, “It’s time to make my entrance.”
He travelled a few minutes more in order to reach the entrance of the building.
He swung open the door and walked right it, as if he owned this place. The ground level went absolutely silent and only the sound of his footsteps remained. Everyone who worked there looked at him, trying to figure out who he was, since he was a complete stranger in their eyes.
Suddenly, he heard a click sound from behind. “A gun, maybe?”
He stopped his footsteps and took a peek behind without actually turning his head.
Well, he was right.
A tubular weapon being pointed at the back of his head.
“…Who are you?” A stern voice questioned.
“Who knows? Why do you need to know it an–” Before he could finish, the cold muzzle of the gun made contact with the back of his skull, “Don’t you dare play games with me, just answer me!”
Damian lifted his hands and chuckled, “Hey buddy, calm down and place the gun down. I’m not here to fight, I just wanted to warn you guys. About the name thing, I can’t tell you my name.”
The worker who had the gun in his hand, shifted his finger closer to the trigger, emphasising that he was ready to launch the bullet anytime, “I give you one last chance… What. Is. Your. Name?”
“Like I say…” Damian sighed as he jumped and did a flip over the man and landed behind him, facing his back, “…I can’t tell you.”
The man swung the gun, attempting to hit his face with the back of it. However, Damian dodged it and instead, grabbed his attacker’s arm to tucked it to his back, making him drop the gun. “I really didn’t want to fight, but you gave me no choice.”
Damian grabbed the gun and released the poor guard, “Is there anyone here I can talk to, that is um… Less aggressive?–”
“…What are you doing here?” Another voice echoed throughout the room.
Damian looked towards the direction that the voice came from to see… a familiar face, “Oh man… It’s Specimen S11. You know what? Who cares? I’m going to die anyway.”
Jai walked towards Damian slowly, “…Answer me, what are you doing here…?” Upon seeing that smiley mask again, anger could not help but to build up inside Jai. However, he did try his best to contain it all inside.
“I’m here to warn you about something.” Damian informed, “And… I have no intention to fight.”
Jai looked at him with a hint of disbelief, especially seeing him with a gun in his hand really doesn’t help in his situation.
Noting his reaction, Damian tossed the gun on the ground, “I swear that’s not mine.”
The sound of the gun hitting the floor echoed throughout the premises, emphasising how quiet the room was.
Feeling like he was about suffocating in the deafening and awkward silence, Damian continued, “Anyway… Bring the princess back to Fiore now. Otherwise, she will be in big trouble.”
The other guy narrowed his eyes at him, “What are you talking about…?”
“Just take her back, I’m serious. If don’t want her to get hurt, do what I say.”
“Why should we listen to you?”
Sighing to himself, Damian removed his mask partially, to reveal half of his face, “Let’s just say, I’m warning you as… Someone she know.”
Once that was done, he quickly placed his mask back, “Alright then. I’ll be going now. Also, send my apology to that blue haired guy.”
With that, he left from the main entrance and disappeared.
Jai was, no doubt, in shock. It was rare for him to feel this way, but he did. He thought that Damian’s appearance was a little sketchy, but he did not really expect him to be the one who attacked Ethan.
“Sir?” The man, who made physical contact with Damian, called out for him.
However, he did not reply.
The worker called out once more, but this time louder, “Sir!”
Jai finally regained his composure, but looked at him, yet still a little confused.
“Should we tell the king about this?” He asked.
“Yes, we should. I’ll tell his majesty myself, just help me called the rest of the group.” Jai instructed as he quickly make his way to the portal and to Fiore.
