– Leveling up the skill is very tough
Yuuki clicked on the Job and more things appeared.
[ Embodiment of Power ]
– Aura of Power: Passive: Nearby allies are strengthened within your presence by 25% and enemies are weakened by 30%. (Passively erodes the enemies mental power)
– Powerful comprehension: Passive/Active: understand everything easier whilst techniques gain an x10 boost to learning.
– The Vision of Power: Active: Usage requires Mana, allows user to see the weak points on anything. Overuse causes strain in the eyes.

– Incredibly low chance to acc.u.mulate the Power of a defeated enemy and assimilate it into your being, turning it into your power.
“This Job and that Skill are both broken!” Returning to his room, Yuuki who hadn’t been in here for what felt like ages when in reality he was gone for a second, hugged Hana the moment he came back. He had access to the first 99 Lives with the current level of the Skill and Yuuki had missed her very much.
{So, what happened?}
“Oh… first there was a place where nothing existed and I was there for a while.” Saying this sentence, Yuuki began to recall all that had happened to Hina who particularly took an interest in the Lives he lived. Unfortunately, Yuuki could only access the first 99 but that was alright as 2 of his best Lives were in this first bundle.
Yuuki’s eyes were sharp if you were to look into them you would have the feeling they could see through you, and around him was an aura that was attractive yet also felt fierce and did not allow you to move as easily as before as it silently pressured you.
—
“Hey, Jin-Woo? Yeah, I don’t want to go clearing the Gates with you guys today. Sorry but next time invite me and I will go with you guys. Yeah, sure.”
Yawning as he stretched, Yuuki had just called Jin-Woo as he was not going to go with them to clear the Gates. Currently, he had other priorities such as clearing out the Coliseum. Yuuki understood that the Coliseum was meant to boost his power but Yuuki’s experience already made him very strong from the [ Samsara ].
—
“Yuuki, is something wrong?” Tilting her head as she inquisitively looked at Yuuki expecting an answer.
“No, nothing. Why?”
“It’s just that I feel like something is different about you and I’m not sure what it is.”
“…” Gaining the experience of 99 Lives was not something small, not to mention the other 900 Lives that he would gain access to overtime. Of course, he could not just look at Hana and smile whilst saying that he had experienced 999 Lives and has the experience of 99 or she would probably start worrying about his mental health and would want to get Yuuki’s brain scanned.
“I got more powerful.” That’s all there was to say, nothing more, nothing less. Yuuki looked into his hand and grasped the Coliseum key tightly.
Getting up from the couch, he went into his room before using the key and entering the Coliseum.
Having not heard the roaring crowd for so long, Yuuki stretched his arms out above his head.
“I’M BACK!” In response to his yell, the crowds already fervent roaring furthered in amplitude as his eardrums were about to burst before the expected silencing came as the E-Ranked Wave started.
—
Not breaking a sweat, Yuuki demolished the previous waves. The A-Rank Wave was about to start and Yuuki grinned ferally like ‘he’ did back then.
The reason this Wave was quite hard to pass was because of the use of spells from the Beasts. The overwhelming number of them made it hard to hide from the outrageous volume of whatever element the Wave was affiliated with.
This time, the Beasts were shrouded with darkness.
Pitifully looking at the Beasts, Yuuki almost felt bad… almost.
Instantly forming spells between their two hands, the Goblins, and Ogres both surrounded Yuuki.
A black wave formed between the Ogres, hands whilst a shield coated them which was formed from the abundant number of Goblins.
This wave rotated as more Mana was poured in and the movements of the wave reached a terrifying speed to any normal S-Rank Hunter. Yuuki was not normal.
A Rune was glowing on the Ogres foreheads, an obsidian-colored glow was added to the Wave and with their spell fully prepared, the darkness wave smashed towards Yuuki and caused the Goblins to be knocked back, they were, however, not damaged by the wave as similar to the Rune on the Ogres’ foreheads was shining on their chest.
Cheering in joy, the Goblins waited for the wave to dissipate and leave behind a destroyed body.
Nothing happened.
Instead, the Rune on the Ogres’ foreheads flickered before disappearing.
“Trying to use darkness on me? Are you stupid?” Laughing at the Goblins and Ogres’ meager attempt at defeating him, Yuuki flicked his finger and the Wave transformed to become an orb above him. Knowing the audience wanted a good show, Yuuki then pointed his finger out similar to a spear.
Forming one thousand spears, the dark orb turned even darker in the shade – if that was possible – and the spears rotated which caused them to gain centrifugal force.
Preparations complete, Yuuki looked at the crowd before sticking his thumb up and watching the crowds’ reactions. They jumped as they all shook their heads and some even slapped the head of the person by their side which caused them to receive a slap in return.
The reason behind his actions? Yuuki spent a life as a gladiator, it was painful but very, very fun and he would do it again, it was one of the good Lives out of the first batch he was allowed to have.
Once his thumb slowly turned down, the audience all nodded and jumped around like maniacs. They loved to see a slaughter.
Shrugging as he turned to the Goblins, Yuuki apologized, which they understood but were not sure why he was apologizing.
That was until the Ogres had their heads pierced by darkness spears and the Goblins were all laid waste.
Stretching his neck, Yuuki had an embarrassed look on his face along with a crimson flush on his ears.
‘I forgot how to control Darkness, how embarrassing. It’d only been forty Lives since I last did so.’ Of course, though it sounded like not that long, these Lives were ones where he would’ve been condemned for his usage of an ‘evil’ element so he engrained other abilities into his mind rather than Darkness thus his abilities had not diminished but he had forgotten and only just remembered or he would’ve killed them the instant they channeled Darkness in front of him.
There was silence once the S-Rank Wave began.
The normally overwhelmingly exciting crowd was sat in their seats firmly and their faces solemn.
Understanding the vibe, Yuuki knew the reason behind their reaction as it appeared.
The ‘wave’ was not normal.
Waving its wings, the dragon let out a piercing cry that forced Yuuki to block off his hearing with a minute darkness barrier.
Yuuki felt the mana infused into the rawr and knew that if he listened to it carelessly as he was, with his stats, he would be defeated.
Seriously facing the dragon, Yuuki saw a name above its head.
