- Volume 1 Chapter 51 The Calm Before The Literal Storm 2
At a certain warship was the Sub-Guild Master that was under Goto Ryuji, Sugimoto Reiji, he wore a suit and had shoulder-length brown hair that was parted at the front.
“Activate the electric jamming waves.” From every ship, electric jamming waves were resonating towards the island and they reached it and achieved their goal, halting the communication between the Ants and their Queen.

“Well, I can’t use my Lightning for now. Let me strengthen your Fire Prison, Choi Jong In.” Extending his hand, Yuuki caused the flames to suddenly spike in temperature and their color shifted from the light orange to a blisteringly hot white.
“I thought you were a Fighter-Class?” Dumbly stuttering before he formed his sentence, Choi Jong-In looked at him with a gaze that told him that he was profoundly confused.
“I am a Fighter-Class, I can also use Magic. My strongest attribute is my speed, however…” Suddenly stopping his movements, Yuuki closed his eyes and put both his hands on the ground before him and it trembled slightly.
Looking up he pointed towards a certain hole in the wall, “that’s the way to the Queen.” Saying nothing more, he ignored the gazes of the others and walked forward through the tunnel.
Along the path, many Ants were still inside with their atrophied eyes indicating that they were specifically evolved to guard the inside of the tunnels.
Slowly, they made their way through the tunnel and saw something which shocked them all.
Hundreds, thousands of eggs were all around the massive opening.
“…This is the breeding ground.” Squinting his eyes, he looked back and saw a huge egg that was opened. “Anyway, the Queen’s nest is nearby.”
Choi Jong-In decided to create a flame and burn all the eggs to dust but was stopped by Cha Hae In.
“Look at that egg! Out of all of the hatched ones, that one is the biggest!”
Byung-Gu could not accept reality as his nerves once again had a hold on him. “No way… that can’t be an Ant Egg right? What the f.u.c.k spawned here?”
A hand on his shoulder caused him to jump as his eyes met Yuuki’s.
“What did I say before?” Yuuki said sternly.
“That you would ensure our safety…?”
“Exactly, that’s why I am going to go first and you follow behind me, okay?” Turning his head, he looked at the rest of the group. “The same goes for all of you. Stay as close to me as you want but don’t stray far. Your safety is my responsibility. Now, focus on killing the Queen and nothing else.” Naturally leading them, they did not once question him as his Aura persuaded them subconsciously to accept his words without a doubt forming in their mind.

“Haha, Kenzo, you look like a mess!” Shimizu Akari said as she wielded her gigantic ax.
Grunting in response before he spoke, Kenzo’s body was covered with the blood of ants but his left shoulder and left hip were doused in his blood from wounds. “These bastards were pretty annoying.” He said as he tossed another corpse to the ground. “They had some sort of strategy in mind because they were flying at me in different formations. I killed about 30 of them but I got injured on my shoulder and hip.
“Do you want me to heal you? Under one condition, though.” Playfully, she asked him as she leaned against her ax which was lodged into the ground.
“Shimizu stop messing around and just heal me.”
“But I have something else I want this time and it’s not money.”
Sighing he responded again. “What is it then. You have more money than me in the first place. A young kid like you is already addicted to the taste of money.”
Smirking, he continued. “Stop fooling around, the Ants are coming. Hurry up, what do you want-”
Shimizu’s head landed at his feet.
Yelling, he got incredibly serious.
“IT’S NEARBY!!! STAY ON GUARD AND…!!!” Kenzo was interrupted by seeing where it was. Lifting his arm to punch, his body fell to the ground after his separated head touched the ground.
Alas, the ginger-haired guy, Fujishima Tatsumi also attempted to kill the Ant but his beheading stated his attempts failed.
Their whole squad had been instantly killed, one by one.

In front of Ma Dong-Wook, was his shield, but in front of that was a Personal Guard of the Queen. Each of the Guards was at least, S-Rank. Their threat was reduced under Yuuki’s buff of his allies and his debuffing of the enemies, not to mention the added effect of mental erosion which drastically reduced their threat as they were faced with somewhat-constant inability to process anything.
Blocking a sudden attack which he already faced multiple times in a row, Ma Dong-Wook easily kept his calm as an opportunity was created. “Miss Hae In!” Moving out of the way, a sword pierced forward and landed upon the Beasts’ back, and jumping on the sword pushed it down with her weight and sliced the creature in half.
“Yuuki, your ability makes this so much easier than I thought it would be.” Smiling as she tore apart another Ant right in front of her, she did not even have to put that much effort in as she felt a quarter stronger which was shocking.
“No problem, nonetheless I am just here to help you guys do your thing. I only came because I was bored.” Smiling back, they continued.
Ma Dong-Wook occasionally joked but he noticed something.
“These Ants are only the normal third generation, I think they supplanted the 1st Gen Guards. From here on we may face 2nd Gen Guards.”
Byung-Gu felt a little uneasy as he had done essentially nothing the entire time.
“I know this is a little over the top, but here…” Placing buffs that correlated with each Hunter Class’ main characteristics, Byung-Gu made them feel overflowing with power alongside Yuuki’s 25% buff.
“Ahahaha! I feel invincible!” A smack to the back of his head by Yuuki removed this innate arrogance that appeared after Ma Dong-Wook received the buff. “Look.” Turning his head in the direction, Yuuki pointed towards, he saw something…
From the darkness in front of them, a countless number of red eyes peered through the darkness towards them.
