The Queen of Mafia - 109 Cat figh
Country N, Mountain Hell.
The crowd all fell into silence as they heard the name of the challenger.
Antonette Meira from the Lumière famiglia.
Ever since the Lumière famiglia appeared out of nowhere, and suddenly took over as being the most powerful and largest famiglia, everyone had been paying attention to this famiglia, wanting to get in their good books and get a connection for the sake of their famiglia.
Obviously, the Elites are all famous for they are the pillar of the Lumière famiglia and was said to be the most trusted men of the Boss.
And this Antonette Meira, not only she was known as a sharp spear that is quick to take as many lives in one go, but she was also said to be the Boss’ third-in-command which signifies how amazing her skills are.
But even though Antonette is famous, and has been feared by many, none of them has seen what she actually looks like.
Could it be that Antonette Meira is this brunette woman with brown eyes?
Once Nicolette saw her, the grin in her face was immediately replaced by a scowl. “Oh, if it isn’t the traitor. I must say that I am quite shock seeing you here. Oh, wait, traitor doesn’t seems to suite you. More like a mole?” Nicolette’s voice was laced with thick sarcasm but instead of infuriating Antonette, her words only amused Antonette.
Antonette had her usual blank expression in her face as she close the distance between her and Nicolette. Then she stopped a couple of steps away from her and said in a mocking cold voice. “I could say the same thing to you, only the difference are both words are suitable for you. Oh, and let’s add a scheming bïtch at that. I just thought that these words are the best to describe you.”
Antonette was rather short that stood tall at 5 feet 6 inches height, relatively short compared to Nicolette’s 5 feet 8 inches height, but that didn’t stop Nicolette to feel intimidated by her imposing aura.
The temperature dropped as the growing tension between the two women makes the whole crowd feel as though something dire will happen.
“What is this strange feeling?” Nicholas, who is rudely being neglected despite being an Elite too, asked the moment he went to Reid and Andrew’s side.
“What do you know? This kind of feeling, it only means that a cat fight between two deranged women will happen any time soon. Only the difference, those two aren’t a cats but rather a ferocious jaguar or cheetah!” Reid said in an exaggerated tone.
Nicholas rolled his eyes at Reid, still the overdramatic man he knew, while Andrew glares him. “Did you just refer my sister as an insane woman?”
“Hey!” Reid raised both of his hands in a mock surrender. “Don’t sweat over the small stuffs. As if this situation didn’t happens. This is almost the same when Antonette, Amber and Adrianna fought!”
“Whatever.” Andrew shook his head.
“Don’t whatever me! It’s because you are usually asleep that you don’t know how scary a fight between women can be! You would rather face a thousand of angry zombies that is after your brains than to witness a women fight and be at their mercy.” Reid shudders as if remembering a scary memory that he would rather buried on the bottom of his brain.
You have no brains though, Andrew ruthlessly thought to himself.
Of course, Nicholas knew what Reid’s talking about for he is usually with Reid most of the time. “Really?” Nicholas grinned. “More scary than facing Aisha?”
Reid: “… when will they start fighting?” Reid tapped his foot in an impatient manner as he gazed at the two women exchanging lazer beam with their sharp eyes.
“Stay here.” Andrew rolled his eyes at him before he commanded and went towards the McLaren F1, Antonette’s car, and slipped into the passenger seat.
Realizing what Andrew was thinking, Reid also slipped into the backseat of Nicolette’s SSC Ultimate Aero. Both of them are good are reducing their presence so that no one will noticed them, it is also a good quality of skill when you’re sneaking an attack. Also, no one noticed the two masked men’s action for everyone’s attention is in the two women who looks like both of them are about to fight.
Seeing the two of them leaving him, Nicholas mouth twitched. So, they are just going to leave him here? Why did even Antonette asked him to accompany her here? To be her chaperone?
“Let’s stop this petty fight now and start the race,” Nicolette seethed. “Whoever lose will be at the mercy if the winner.” She challenged.
“Deal.” Antonette said coldly. “Just be sure to honor the bet once you loses.”
“Hah!” Nicolette huffed mockingly before giving her an irritating smirk. “Let’s all see about that! I’ll crush that arrogancy in your eyes once I won!”
Then the two of them went to their own cars. The crowd was initially confused at what do they mean with their words but once the two women stepped on the gas pedal and make a noise, the crowd cheered as the death race is about to start.
One was from the De La Torre famiglia, the former most powerful mafia famiglia, while the other one was from the Lumière famiglia, the current most powerful mafia famiglia.
Both famiglias are sworn enemies.
Who will win?
As the crowd thought of this, their hearts thumped with excitement, and went to their own place to see the flow of the death race. Usually, one person from the crowd will be chosen to be the starter[1], and coincidentally, it was Nicholas who is chosen to be the starter.
Nicholas stared blankly at the white flag in his hand as he stand in between of the two cars, eager to start the race. He didn’t know why but his pride as the most feared hitman was crushed at this moment.
The moment Nicolette went inside of the car, she felt that something was not right. It was as if there’s someone inside of the car other than her. Being a mafia, this kind of feeling are not to be ignored so she starts searching if there’s really someone in her car but to no vain.
“Worried I might kill your sister?” Antonette asked in a cold voice, not even sparing Andrew, who is seating beside her, a glance.
“Rather than worried about you killing her, I’m more worried that she will kill us.” Andrew explained calmly.
Antonette’s grip on the stirring wheel tightens before loosing her grip. She tried to ignored this “unnecessary” feelings within her and turn all her focus to the race.
“You need not to worry, I won’t kill her nor I will let her kill us. She doesn’t have what it takes to do it.” She said and she watched as Nicholas throws the white flag unto the ground in a frustrated manner before reaching for his gun in the holster and aim above his head.
As Nicholas readied himself to pull the trigger, Antonette coldly added, “But that doesn’t mean I won’t harm her.”
*Bang!*
