The Queen of Mafia - 87 Shocking revelation
“You— you’re the one who killed Kristin!?” Adeline stood up from her seat, disbelief was all over her face as she pointed an accusing finger at Aisha. “How could you!?”
Not only Adeline but also Samuel is upset and angry at the fact that their own filial daughter, Kristin, was killed by her own daughter, Aisha.
They heard rumors that Aisha was the one who killed Kristin but they didn’t believe it. How could she, a mere three-years-old child, can possibly kill a grown up adult? Aisha was a sweet and bubbly kid back then, although she is mischievous, but they dare not to think that she has the capability to kill someone at that time even though she is a mafia Boss’ daughter, Morano De La Torre.
“You are her daughter!” Adeline bellowed, her loud voice echoing around the room. Adeline admit that she’s not the best mother in the world, but not once did she think of killing her own daughters, even though she treats Kristin and Kristen differently.
“Calm down,” Samuel sternly said to his wife. Yes, he is baffled and angry, but he still have some rationality. He knew that there’s more to it than it meets the eye. “Let the girl explain.”
In fact, Aisha didn’t really plan telling this information to them even though they all had the rights to know since it was their daughters involved in this matter but it was hard for Aisha to hear that they are blaming Morano for the death of her mother when she was the one at fault for this.
“Two decades ago,” Aisha started, a solemn look was etched on her face as she gaze at the flickers of the fire in the fireplace. “On the night of the Christmas eve, I saw my mother murdering her most trusted subordinates.” Aisha heard a couple of gasps but she ignored them and continued.
“I thought, maybe we were invaded, or it isn’t my mother, but then I saw it with my own eyes, she killed our Butler right before my eyes. She was scary, she isn’t like the mother I am used to. Her once gentle eyes are filled with anger, and she stared at me like she wants to… kill me.”
“Kristin is not like that!” Adeline shouted. “She will never—”
“I. Know.” Aisha sternly cut off through gritted teeth. “I know she isn’t something like that but what could I possibly do? I am only a weak 3-years-old kid, how could I possibly defend myself from her?
How could I possibly not kill her when she’s begging me do it.” A tear slipped off from Aisha’s left eye.
She could still remember that time, in between Kristin’s attacks, she keeps on switching between her normal self and the psychotic ones. Aisha remembers how Kristin begs her to kill her, she’d rather die than kill her own daughter. It was hard for Aisha to do it, she can’t kill her own mother.
She didn’t want to do it. Her heart is torn. But she have to. So she pick up a gun, and shot her mother. Aisha was breathing heavily as she cried while crawling towards her mother.
Kristin cups her tear-stained face and say in her soft, loving voice, “Aisha, my dear, Mother won’t be able to accompany you as you grew up into a wonderful woman. Mother will be pleased, if you live your live full of happiness and warmth. Tell Father that Mother will always love him, alright? Both of you.”
“She was controlled,” Aisha continued in a whisper, barely audible as she look down at her hands in her lap. “I always thought about what happened to my mother was strange. Everything was alright before that night, and then she suddenly turn into a killing machine. I don’t know what happened, and I investigate it alone through the years. Until, when I was investigating the death of my father, Morano, I stumbled into something.”
Aisha’s expression suddenly hardens, her teeth gritted together as her eyes turns sharp and full of anger. “The “Mind Control Experiment” which was establish by the Cavelli famiglia three decades ago. And was perfected two decades ago.”
“Mind control,” Samuel mumbles and frowned. “Are you saying that Kristin has been… controlled?”
“Yes,” Aisha nodded. “The AI chip, it was a chip that’s been installed in the human’s brain, and through the chip, anyone who has the controller can control the person who has the chip. And guess who controls my mother?”
“Who?” Adeline’s anger was obvious in her face.
“It was Kristen Cavelli, my mother’s twin sister.”
“What!?”
Aisha then explained the reason why Kristen did that. How much of a psychotic jealous bïtch she turned, and that’s because of them.
“No way,” Adeline tiredly sit back to the couch. Her body is trembling as she thought what happened to her two daughters. “It is my fault. It’s all my fault.”
“You’re not the only one to be blamed.” Samuel comforted his wife, a pained expression was also etched in his face. “I’m also at fault for this.”
“Yeah, you two are the one who caused all this shït.” Aisha bluntly deadpanned. “Because of the unfair treatment you gave to them as they grew, Kristen developed a resentment against you two amd especially to my mother. So, yes, you two are to be blamed for this.”
Samuel and Adeline: “…” Couldn’t she at least comfort them?
“What?” Aisha lifted her brow in a lazy manner. “It was true though, you made Kristen felt like she was always inferior to Kristin, and that she is of no important to you two. But don’t get me wrong, I am not sympathazing her whatsoever. Kristen always have an insecure bone in her so whether or not your treatment for her is just like how you treat my mother, she is bound to be like this because she has always been a jealous bïtch.”
As when Aisha is talking, she stood up from her seat and went to the door. Once she’s finish talking, she waved a hand while her back is facing them as she leaves the living room. She let them have their own space to digest all the information she told them.
And what to do with Kristen.
If they still want her to be saved, or if they want her to repent on her sins, either of it are fine for Aisha. It won’t change her plans anyways.
As Aisha was about to go back to her room, she suddenly thought of Aeron. If she’s not mistaken, he should be around in his study.
Aisha turns to one hall that leads to his study. She remembers what Nikos mentioned to her awhile ago.
“The main family of the Lumière famiglia.” She mumbles in the air.
So, they are here, Aisha’s thought went back to the time where the DNA test between Aeron and Lucian was handed to her by Alfred. The result was something she had long expected.
Aeron Cavelli is Lucian Lumière.
As Aisha was nearing to his study, a thought suddenly cross her mind.
Is she still going to pretend that she not know his true identity?
