The Quick Story Of A Super Strong Reincarnator - Chapter 2 In The Fores
I was really confused. How could I already be a 99th stage? I just started cultivating like a minute ago. I voiced out my doubts.
“I don’t think that I am the 99th stage that you are looking for. I just started absorbing qi.”
“You are who I am looking for. For unquestionable reasons, you have been given powers by nature itself.”
Only then did I realize that my gift from my cosmos’s god was unimaginable power. I might have even been the strongest man in this world.
“Can you teach me to use my power properly.”
“Of course! I can’t have a powerless person as my partner.”
As harsh as he was, I knew he was right. “When do we start.”
“Immediately. But be ready, my training is like hell.”
I stared at him and asked him, “Where do we train.”
A gust of wind lifted me up. I looked around and tried to control the wind around. I failed. I tried continuously, and finally after 40-50 tries, I managed to control a breeze. When I looked around, I was already surrounded by a lush forest.
“I will leave you here. The wood qi here is great. Train here. As long as you can control the wood power and slay a Type 6 beast, you can come out for a break.”
“A type 6 beast?”
“A beast with 60th to 69th stage power.”
That didn’t seem easy. That emperor was just a 20 something stage. Couldn’t help but sigh.
“What about those siblings. They must have noticed you right?”
“I masked myself. Nobody knows I am here except you.”
Good. That Shen Fenxuing will force me to marry her if she knows that I am an immortal. Sometimes it is a curse to be handsome and powerful at the same time.
“Here I go.”
My dragon left me saying, “When you are done, call my name, Long Wang.”
He must not have calculated that I was a few hundreds of meters from the ground. I tried to use a breeze of wind to slow myself down, but it was all for naught. I fell on the trees. Thank god they were just trees. I groaned and tried to get up.
Surprisingly, I wasn’t hurt that badly. Just a few bruises. I looked around for a big tree. I read this book when I was back at Earth about survival. The first step was always to have a shelter and food.
I sighted a nice fat tree that was 50 meters tall. I sat below it and started thinking. I only had a breeze that could aid me. This was the woods. Surely, wood power could aid me. I got up the tree and started trying to control the tree I was sitting on.
After a long time, I could finally sense something, like a spirit. I called out to it and it responded. I asked it to get a fruit, and magically, a branch with a juicy fruit on it emerged from the side in front of me. I plucked it and ate it. That satiated the hunger in me.
I asked it to make a skeleton for a tree house. All the branches divided and moved outward while four big branches came out of the middle and covered the hole that was created when the branches moved outward.
It was a good shelter, covered from all sides. It also looked so natural from the outside, with branches covering every side. No one would notice anything suspicious. No magical beast at least.
I sat down cross legged and started meditating. I only used my power to contact tree spirits till now. How else could I use this wood power I found? Use it as a weapon? I didn’t understand at all. I started experimenting. First I tried shaping it into a gun. It was a sophisticated thing. I failed. I tried something easier, a dagger. It took the shape initially.
I tried like my life depended on it. It did. If I didn’t learn how to kill those beasts, and it kills me, it would be awful.
After a few hours, I got a little hungry. I asked the tree for a fruit, and it gave me another juicy fruit. I ate it. I noticed that my ability to make daggers got better. My daggers were now sharp. I could kill a beast with this baby.
I ate another fruit and got out of my hole. It was dawn outside. I must have spent a lot of time honing my skills. I walked towards the east, and then I heard a noise. My first battle. I was itching from head to toe. Should be great.
Unfortunately, it was just a twig that fell down. It was really disappointing. Then I heard a roar. I did the most sensible thing. I climbed a tree. I waited for the beast to come. It was a tiger, a big one. A voice said, “That’s a Type 6 Beast.”
It was Long Wang. Didn’t hear him afterwards. I scouted my opponent. I familiarized myself with the aura of a Type 6 Beast.
I waited for a while. Seconds turned to minutes. The tiger was sniffing around. I breathed slowly.vIf that beast saw me, it was my end. I was still. Finally, the tiger left. I sighed in relief.
“Next time I meet that, I swear I will kill it,”I swore at the direction in which the tiger went.
I returned to my cave and took my ‘training’ to the next level. I started shaping swords. It went well. After a few days, I perfected the art. I could make a sword out of wood energy at will.
With this new power reassuring me, I went out of my house. I walked west this time. After a couple of minutes, I met my first opponent. It was a bear. And it wasn’t a Type 6, it was a damn Type 5!
