“No please don’t tell him if you do I will be the next on the demons hit list.” Lou Mei shuttered at the thought of getting on Prince Jin’s bad side.

Feng Xi let outanother laugh. “It’s fine I will just tell him to beat you lightly.”

“Princess! That is not nice and here I was trying to be your friend!”Lou Mei felt aggrieved she did not want to be on the demon’s bad side!

“If you are my friend, why are you calling me princess? Friends do not speak to each other in such formal terms.” Feng Xi said as she turned her head away like she was not going to talk to Lou Mei any more. She had never had a female friend before. Even in her past life, she didn’t since she was too busy working and bettering herself. Now that things are somewhat taken care of where she can at least live a more peaceful life for the time being she felt it would be nice to have a few more friends that were not work related.

“Then I will call you Xi and you can call me Mei!” Lou Mei stated firmly while nodding her head. She was happy she could befriend Feng Xi so easily. “Now that we are friends you need to do me a favor!”

“And this favor would be?” Feng Xi raised an eyebrow.

“Help me find a boyfriend like Prince JIn who will treat me like an angel!” Lou Mei was jealous of how much Prince Jin loved Feng Xi. It made her want to find a man who would treat her the same.

“I will keep an eye out. But I can not promise anything. I do not know many men around our age.” Feng Xi said honestly. It was true that she knew basically no one in her age range. Even in this life, she had spent all her time with Prince Jin because she was staying away from everyone due to not being able to trust them. She just hoped that now that things had settled down some she would not have to worry about being backstabbed at this time.

“Then I am counting on you,Xi. My love life is in your hands.” Lou Mei cupped her hands and gave a small bow.

The two chatted all the way until the class ended. The teacher did not dare say a thing. “Alright calm down ladies.” The teacher was both mad and amused at the girls’ reactions. He turned to the young man and said: “Introduce yourself.”

My name is Zhao Kang.” Zhao Kang’s eyes looked at the class, his eyes landed on Feng Xi who was completely not paying attention to him as she read a book. This made Zhao Kang frown a little. But he did not give up as he knew he still had a bit of time. He had arranged everything. Once he knew Feng Xi had returned to school he made sure to enroll into the school and into her class so he could spend time with Feng Xi. but he did not realize that he would need to work a little harder than he thought. He was confident in his looks. Every other girl was looking at him with love struck eyes except for Feng Xi who had her nose buried into a book. A little disappointed at being ignored Zhao Kang took a seat after his introduction while taking one last glance at Feng Xi as he thought: ‘I don’t believe I can not woo you!‘

At Feng Xi’s side, Lou Mei suddenly turned and grabbed ahold of Feng Xi’s arm. “Xi, Xi! I think I am in love!”

Feng Xi let out a sigh and closed her book. “First off I would suggest not following in love with him. Unless you are willing to join an assassin organization. If you are lucky you can live for one month. After being married into the family.”

“Assassin org Zhao! He said his name was Zhao Kang? Ahhh! Why him of all people. Why does he have to look so damn handsome!? Xi, you are really good at shattering my dreams.
