Feng Xi let out a laugh. “This I am not so sure of, so far I seem to have ninety nine lives. Let’s hope my survivability streak will continue.”

Class ended and Lou Mei and Feng Xi got up to head back to their courtyards. Zhao Kang saw this opportunity to chase after Feng Xi and hurried after them. “Feng Xi!”

Hearing her name called, Feng Xi paused her steps and turned back to see Zhao Kang walking up to her. “Classmate Zhao, how can I help you?”

Zhao Kang frowned at how Feng Xi just called him but did not say anything. “I was wondering if I could tag along with you on the way back towards the courtyards. This is my first time at Heavens Fall Academy and I do not know my way around too well.”

“Oh? Are you sure you’re not going to try to assassinate me when my back is turned? From what I understand of the Zhao family, their children do not attend public schools and are all homeschooled. The only time they actually attend a public school is when they are on a mission and the target is a student.” Feng Xi raised an eyebrow as she crossed her arms across her chest. She had found it weird that Zhao Kang was willing to come to a public school. Although this school was special and only let in the best of the best. The Zhao clan children were always homeschooled. Even in her past life she only knew that the children of the Zhao family only went to school to assassinate someone. It was like a school activity for them.

“I would never even think of trying to do such a thing to you!” He did come to this school for her but it was not to assassinate her! He wanted to court her and make her his woman!
