“Why does you having suitors matter to me!?” Zhao Kang snorted.

“Humph! You’re just a pig trying to get a swan!”Lou Mei was not going to lose in this fight. She was determined to get the last word no matter what!

“You! You’re the pig!” Zhao Kang yelled out. Only to get hit over and over in the chest by Lou Mei.

“Who are you calling a pig!?” Zhao Kang did not expect Lou Mei to begin hitting him. He was in such shock he didn’t even put up his guard. All his training as a world class assassin seemed to have disappeared right at that moment.

Feng xi who instigated the whole thing propped her chin up in her hands as she looked at the two ‘love birds‘ flirting with each other. She smiled before reaching in her bag and taking out a paper and a pen. She then began writing a small note before leaving ten yuan on the table and quietly getting up. The two were fighting with each other and did not even see Feng Xi leave.

It was not until almost ten minutes went by when Lou Mei turned her head and asked; “Xi, you agree with me ri Xi!?”

Lou Mei looked around here and did not see Feng Xi at all. It was not until she saw the paper on the table under an empty teacup flapping in the breeze that she understood what happened. ‘Mei, I have some things I need to do at a few of my companies. Here is ten yuan for the coffee. I will meet you back at my game company later tonight. The three of us will have dinner together. You two love birds should go have some fun alone!‘

Lou Mei’s face turned bright red. Her friend was actually playing match maker! Lou Mei snuck a glance at Zhao Kang who was confused as to what was going on. A light flashed in her eyes. ‘Since Xi has given me this chance to sway this young handsome boy’s heart, I will not let her goodwill get wasted!’ She took the paper, folded it, and stuffed it into her pocket. She then looked at Zhao Kang who was wondering what was written on it and smiled. “XI said she will be doing a few things at her office in one of her companies. She told me to tell you to take good care of me and to take me out around town. She also said that we will meet up later tonight for dinner.”

Zhao Kang’s face fell. He had jumped on the helicopter to spend more time with Feng Xi but she ran off while he was arguing with this woman! But Since Feng Xi asked him to take care of Lou Mei he could not just up and leave her! Letting out a dejected sigh Zhao Kang gritted his teeth and said: “Fine where do you want to go…”

In actual fact, across the coffee house, Feng Xi was watching from afar. She wanted to see how they would react when she left. Luckily, she was able to see the sweet smile on Lou Mei’s face when she read the note. At least now Feng Xi could have a bit of peace of mind that her meddling was not unwanted. She also had to hand it to Lou Mei for using her as a way to get Zhao Kang to take her out.

“Smart girls will always land the man. Mei is very smart. She used Zhao Kang’s affection for me to her advantage. ” Feng Xi had known since the first day Zhao Kang came to Heaven Fall Academy that he seemed to always be looking at her. She would be a fool to not realize his intentions. But she did not call him out on it.Instead, she acted oblivious to it. She did not want to lead him on but she also did not want to anger Zhao Kang either. Which is why she did not show any interest in him.

She actually owed Zhao Kang a great deal. She had heard that Zhao Kang had used his people to shoot down one of the missiles that day. Which was why she didn’t reject him outright. Now she was very glad she did not reject Zhao Kang at all because now it would give Lou Mei a chance to turn him towards her. Not to mention having good relations with the Zhao family was also very beneficial.

“Now then since the ‘love birds‘ are off on their first date, I will go check out the back alley auctions.” Feng Xi had decided to try her luck and see if she could find any antiques at a cheap price while she had a bit of time. She still had a few meetings today but they were not until later in the afternoon and it was only ten in the morning.

The streets were bustling with traffic as Feng Xi slowly walked down the road. She wore a wide brim sun hat and big sunglasses to hide her identity. Although it still made her stand out a bit with how she was dressed, people were not able to tell that she was actually Feng Xi. With the day being peaceful Feng Xi turned down a side alley that was just as busy as the main streets.

This alley was dubbed Auction street since many stands with antiques and other goods were being sold by street vendors and store fronts. This place had what was called open auction. If one person bought an item they could have it appraised at one of the dozen appraisal shops. If it was found to be real then the item could then be auctioned off right then and there. So there was always a crowd hanging around the appraisal shops. She had come here mainly to buy and would not be auctioning anything unless she found it to be worth some money and had no use for it. That being said, things here were always very highly priced.
