Feng Xi looked into the girl’s eyes that were pure and filled with anxiousness and anticipation. Giving a soft smile Feng Xi turned to Ru’er who was silently trailing behind her and said: “Ru’er Adela wants to be your friend. Treat her nicely from now on.”

Ru’er who was lost in her own little world was given a start when her name was called. “Young miss?”

“Princess Xi?” Princess Adela looked at Feng Xi who was just as confused as Ru’er was.

“Any friend of Ru’er’s is a friend of mine so as long as you and Ru’er get along, then it is a given that you and I will get along.” Feng Xi was not joking around when she said this. She felt that Ru’er and Princess Adela would get along nicely. They both had the same pure innocent temperament and Feng Xi figured they would get along better than she and Princess Adela would and if she treated Ru’er well then she would also treat Princess Adela well.

In Princess Adela’s mind, she was taking this as a test to see if she was worthy of being Feng Xi’s friend. She firmly made up her mind, she would pass this test with flying colors and treat Ru’er as if she was her king! “Then Miss Ru, I will be in your care…”

“Miss? Huh? Wha?” Ru’er was really confused and blushing since no one had ever called her Miss before. She really did not know how to react right now.

Feng Xi let out a laugh and smiled brightly. She put her arm around Ru’er’s shoulder and pulled her forward. “Ru’er from now on you and Adela will be friends. You can act yourself around her.”

“Huh? Ah Okay…” Ru’er blushed even more. Feng Xi hoped this would help Ru’er with her shyness as well.

“Since everything is settled, we are now all friends. Later I will get Ru’er a cell phone so the two of you can talk easier.” Feng Xi happily said.

Ru’er was still in a daze as she was pushed along by Feng Xi. Princess Adela was also in a daze as things seemed to be going in a weird direction. As the reached the steps to the pavilion where classes were being held, Feng Xi paused her steps and looked at Princess Adela with a serious expression: “Adela, let me warn you. If you do anything weird to Ru’er I will not mind cutting your head off.”

Princess Adela felt a chill run down her spine. She knew what Feng Xi was talking about causing her cheeks to turn red. “Don’t worry that time was a mistake It will never happen again.”

As Feng Xi walked up the steps she saw Lou Mei sitting in her seat looking in her direction with a stupefied look. When Feng Xi sat down, Lou Mei continued to stare at her causing Feng Xi to chuckle. She knew why Lou Mei was acting the way she was. “If you got something to say then just say it.”

“Why are you with the harlot?” Lou Mei asked. She wondered what happened overnight that made those two who seemed to be enemies yesterday become so close that they walked to school together.

“She’s not a harlot. Just someone who had been taught the wrong things. You do not need to worry about her, she won’t cause an issue anymore.” Feng Xi lightly explained.

“Is that why she looked like she was beaten up? Is she a masochist or something? Is this why she looked so happy this morning?” Lou Mei asked. Although the bruises were well hidden Lou Mei could tell the eyes were still slightly puffy.

“It’s a long story I do not want to talk about it right now. How are things between you and Zhao Kand?” Feng Xi asked.

“We are good, he spent the night in my courtyard last night. But don’t worry we are using protection. I am not ready to be a mother just yet. We decided we will get married after you and Prince Jin. I am still surprised though. Someone like me was able to land someone as handsome as him. I mean I do not think I am ugly or anything but I am also not the prettiest girl in the academy either.” Lou Mei felt like she was floating in the clouds now that she had such a handsome boyfriend.

“Just remember if Zhao Kang or his family does anything let me know. I will make them disappear from China. I do not want my best friend to get hurt.” Feng Xi cherished her friendship with Lou Mei. They got along really well and she was her first female friend. She did not want to see Lou Mei get hurt.

“Say that again!” Lou Mei looked at Feng Xi with excitement in her eyes.

“Say what? I don’t want to see my best friend getting hurt?” Feng Xi was confused. She did not understand why Lou Mei was getting so excited.

“You called me your best friend right!? You can’t take it back! From now on we are besties! Me and Xi forever! Our love knows no bounds!” Lou Mei proudly shouted before jumping on Feng Xi and hugging her. This caused everyone to turn and look at them.

Feng Xi blushed as she pushed Lou Mei off her. “Would you stop?People will think we’re lesbians. Do you want Zhao Kang to assassinate me?”

“Nah he won’t.Look he’s blushing away. He’s probably thinking of something dirty right now.” Lou Mei said as she pointed at Zhao Kang.

Feng Xi turned and looked at Zhao Kang who quickly turned his head. Her face went completely black as she leaned over and whispered to Lou Mei “Remind me to kick his ass later.”

“Haha! Okay, I will. He deserves it after leering at my love!”
