Days and months passed, and things seemed to have really settled down. All of Feng Xi’s businesses were doing very well. She had rounded up all the old men from the companies Lu Tao signed over to her and brought them under her control. This was basically a starting point for her. She still had a long way to go as she made her way to the top and she also planned to take the other companies out from under Lu Tao’s relatives grasp at some point and time.

Her days in school went very leisurely with no other issues cropping up. Ru’er and Princess Adela had become very good friends, which in turn Feng Xi treated Princess Adela very well. But the school days were coming to an end and she was going to be graduating from Heavens Fall Academy in a week’s time. After her graduation, she would also be turning eighteen and that meant her wedding with Prince Jin will be held even though they are already married on paper. But the thing both Feng Xi and Prince Jin were looking forward to the most was theirwedding night. Doing ‘that’ was almost not enough anymore to calm the urges they had for each other.

Feng Xi was currently sitting at a large table with Lou Mei, Princess Adela, Prince Jin, Zhao Kang, and a few other students. They were in charge of setting up the graduation ceremony this year. “Does anyone have any ideas?”

“What about, having a dance? Not like those regular schools but something that is for more high society.”One young man said.

“Hmm, this is not bad. We can hold a ball with a western style theme to make it more interesting. Xi, what do you think?” Princess Adela felt the young man’s idea was very good.

“I actually like this idea as well. But for something like this besides doing research, Adela we will need to rely on you to help us set everything up. Since we are in a forest area why don’t we do the ball in a fantasy style theme? This should spice it up even more.” Feng Xi found this whole thing to be fun. Heavens Fall Academy did not have a normal graduation ceremony, it was more of a party to celebrate everyone moving on to college. Since unless you had great influence it was almost impossible to let anyone else into the Academy and the graduation ceremony was no different. It only consisted of the teachers and the students.

“Oh! I like this! I would love to see Xi in a fairy costume!” Lou Mei jumped right in on the idea.

Prince Jin who was sitting next to Feng Xi looked at Feng xi and rubbed his chin. He was imagining Feng Xi as a fairy. But not in a good sense his mind quickly turned to picturing her n.a.k.e.d with a pair of wings on her back. His thoughts were quickly disrupted by a sharp pain in his side as Feng Xi twisted the skin at his waist.

Off in a run down house in a small village far from the capital two women were sitting at a table drinking tea. “Is everything ready?”

“Yes, sister. The people you found this time are the best from Country T. They have a success rate as high as the Zhao family.” If Feng Xi was here right now, she would know who these two women were. They were none other than Imperial Consort Yun and Jiang Yi.

“Good, then we do not need to worry about them dropping the hit. Once that little bitch and her father are dead we can finally make our comeback. All of China will know that the Jiang Family are not people who can be messed with without serious consequences.” Imperial Consort Yun sipped her tea as an evil smile formed on her face.

The two sisters wanted revenge no matter what. Every plan they had was ruined by Feng Xi and Feng Shun. They were both saved by their benefactor that they had been colluding with since the beginning. This person was very mysterious and had yet to show their face, but so far they had saved the two sisters when they got in trouble without them even needing to make a call. They had no idea what their benefactor actually wanted but they were glad to have someone who was willing to help them.

“Sister is right, our family will once again rise, and eventually, all of China will be ours! But first I can’t wait to see that bitch dead! After murdering my Lan’er!” Jiang Yi never did find her daughter, she could only consider her daughter dead at this point.

Back at Heavens Fall Academy Feng Xi was lying in bed, her head resting on Prince Jin’s bare chest. Her left arm resting across on his stomach. She nuzzled her nose taking in his scent. “Jin’er soon we will finally be holding our wedding. I am a little nervous I have a feeling something bad will happen soon.”

“No matter what, we will get through it together.” Prince Jin held Feng Xi close, he also felt a little nervous. The people behind the scenes had yet to make their final move. He just hoped whatever was to come would be the last thing they had to deal with. He wanted nothing more than to live a peaceful life with Feng Xi, have a family, and grow old together.

“Mmm… Together. I know we can pull through but I still worry.I just got my hair to grow back I hate to lose it again…” Feng Xi said her words turning into a mumble as she closed her eyes and fell asleep. She felt safe and secure in Prince Jin’s arms.
