“I never thought that such a person like that existed. I knew he was a playboy but never thought he would go as far as to want to do things to his sister in law.” Lou Mei was utterly disgusted by Prince Yi’s actions just now.

“Well people like that are fools, word will get around and his reputation will plummet even more. Not to mention what Jin’er will end up doing to him later and if word gets to Father Emperor…” Feng Xi left the conversation at that. Prince Yi had basically signed his own demise with his words today. Luckily she was not some kind of weak princess who couldn’t handle herself or she might have been the topic of discussion tomorrow instead.

The rest of the morning went smoothly without any more surprises happening. After saying goodbye to Lou Mei, Feng Xi headed to the talent school where Dai Fen should have already gathered everyone. It took twenty minutes from the restaurant to the school. The school itself was located near the suburbs. This was a prime location since those who did not have the ability to get around could walk to the school. Dai Fen had to fight for this location when trying to buy it. Luckily he was able to come out on top in the end. Although, the price was a little higher than he wanted.

Standing in front of the school Feng Xi could see many people rushing in going towards one of the bigger buildings in the back. This was the staging area where plays and other events were held. Feng Xi walked in with the other students and teachers. There were not many people here. Roughly around one hundred, teachers and talent agents included.The talents they had in the talent agency were mostly already plucked away by Empire Entertainment.

She walked through the crowd and up onto the stage. Her presence garnered everyone’s attention. Dai Fen walked up and respectfully bowed. “Boss, I gathered everyone as you asked.”

“MMM Thank you Grandpa Dai.”Feng Xi said with a smile before standing in front of the podium that was set up. She reached up and adjusted the mic to better suit her height before saying: “Thank you all for gathering on such short notice. My name is Feng Xi, I own both this school and the talent agency next door. I created these two companies in order to give rise to stars that may not have a chance to rise otherwise. But because we are seen as a threat to the bigger companies like Empire Entertainment. They deliberately came and snatched away our talents. Because of this, I will need to make changes to the contracts, you will sign when entering the talent agency.

“For those who wish to take advantage of our talent agency and sign a contract with us and then down the road wish to break out of the contract before the contract ends, the amount needed to pay in remunerations will be five hundred million. You may think this is a lot of money. But you forget one thing As a talent agency, we are spending thousands of yuan on you every day in order to land you jobs and advertise you. We do our jobs as the go-between, between you and the jobs that will pay you the millions of yuan. To have you plucked from under us by another company is what will cause my company to go under.

“And frankly I refuse to let that happen. If you, as the upcoming talents in the school, do not want to sign such a contract then I suggest you leave the school now. I am not looking for people who are not loyal to the company. This school is for nurturing and debuting talents and allowing them to rise to stardom. If you think you can do better elsewhere, then by all means there is the door. There will be no reimburs.e.m.e.nt in school fees either. My teachers did not work their asses off to train you for no reason. We are a business, not a free ride.

“If you have any questions or concerns, please ask your teachers, they will have a write up of information they can hand out to you. But let me tell you this. If you wish to use us as a stepping stone to get into a more well-known company that will no longer be possible. All students of the talent school will need to sign a contract that will give us exclusive rights to you for one year after you graduate from the school. You will not be charged any money but if you wish to go to a different company you will need to wait one year to do so. If you sign on with us in order to get your foot in the door, it will be another contract for five years. But I will promise that we will do what we can to get you jobs during those five years.

“If you are unhappy with anything please pack your things and leave. That is all. Grandpa Dai will answer any of your questions.”Her statement was not long and was straight to the point. She left the students all staring at her in disbelief and the teachers and talent agents all nodding their heads in agreeance. This was a bold move on her part but it left no openings for her business to be used as a farming ground to nurture talents just to have them stolen thereafter.

As she was walking backstage, Lou Mei who also attended the meeting since she was a talent of the school was backstage with a bottle of water that she walked over and handed to Feng Xi. “To think Empire Entertainment would do such a thing.”

“It doesn’t matter, I plan to take them down now anyway. They messed with my companies so now they must fall from grace. By the way,if you were coming to the meeting why didn’t you just come with me?” Feng Xi asked as she looked at Lou Mei in confusion.

“Ahah. I figured it would be best if I didn’t expose myself just yet. I want to stay out of the scene for now until my debut a few days from now.” Lou Mei said, scratching her head.

“That makes sense. If you came with me they would be trying to guess who you are and I am sure there are many spies among the students. Just be careful during your final filming tomorrow. I will be there to watch over you but it is an action scene. Do not bounce the little one around too much.” Feng Xi said. She knew Lou Mei was not too far along in her pregnancy but she still worried about it.

“I will be extra careful, trust me.”
