- Volume 1 Chapter 91 Those Who Hurt My Xier Must Die
Grandpa Feng watched in horror as a wave of fire ran down over the car. He could do nothing while he watched Feng Xi who was covering Prince Jin with her body yell out in pain as her skin burned under the flames. Prince Jin was in a panic when Feng Xi suddenly leaped on top of him pushing him to the ground. When he heard her yell out in pain and felt the heat against his face his heart almost jumped out of his chest. He wanted to exchange positions with Feng Xi but she had him completely pinned to the ground as she faced the flames head on. But that was not the worst of it. The ceiling had caved in smashing down on top of them. A large beam fell down trapping the two underneath it. The impact was so strong that Prince Jin’s head was knocked hard by debris.
The sounds of the office workers in the building crying out the pain also filled the air. The whole floor painted the perfect picture of a war zone. As the dust began to settle, Prince Jin slowly opened his eyes. What he saw made his heart sink. Feng Xi, the girl he fell in love with was laying on top of him. Burn marks scorched her body. The hair that he loved to run his fingers through was burnt completely off. Her brow was furrowed as if she was in great pain. Seeing such a screen made Prince Jin’s heart break.
In a pained voice, choked with tears, Prince Jin called out: “Xi’er! Xi’er!” But the girl in his arms was not moving nor did it seem like she was breathing. “Someone quick, save Xi’er!”
The sounds of a helicopter could be heard as it hovered in the air. Mo Luixian hurried off it with a few others from Feng Xi’s mercenary group. “Boss!”

Prince Jin’s Palace
Prince Jin had just finished being patched up. He only had a minor concussion and a large gash in his head. He paced back and forth in front of the operating room that was under heavy security. Right now he trusted no one but close family to enter this area. He had his own people and Feng Xi’s mercenary group standing guard. Each one was carrying a QBZ 95 assault rifle.
Feng Shun was being pushed down the hallway by Fang Ai. He stopped in front of Prince Jin. His gaze cold as he asked: “What happened?”
“They used multiple missiles to attack us. Our team was not able to stop them all. The car we were in was caught up by four of them, two were direct hits while the other two were near misses but exploded close enough to cause serious damage. The last missile Xi’er must have seen when she turned around. She pushed me straight to the ground and used her body to protect me.” Prince JIn began to choke up once again as tears welled up in his eyes. “Father in law, what do I do? If Xi’er dies, I do not know how I will live with myself! She is my life I can’t live without her.”
Feng Shun let out a sigh. To see such a strong merciless kid who would kill anyone who looked at him wrong to break down in tears over his daughter, meant that Prince JIn wholeheartedly loved his daughter. “Stop crying, you’re a man! If Xi’er saw you now she would probably hit you for not being manly! Think about what you should do in this situation and deal with it. ”
Prince Jin wiped his tears. He knew Feng Shun was right instead of crying he should be figuring out how to strike back at those who had attacked them. After thinking for a moment the look of desperation in Prince Jin’s eyes turned into a look of resolve as he said: “Anyone who dares to hurt my Xi’er must die!”
“Mmm! Good! Now, this is the ruthless Prince Jin I know!” Feng Shun said with a smile.
As the two talked, Grandpa Feng walked out of the operating room. He went in to watch over the doctors to make sure they did their jobs correctly. He took off his mask and walked over to Feng Shun and Prince Jin. “She’s safe for now. But she suffered severe burns from the blast and a few deep wounds from the ceiling falling on top of her. The doctors said the hair on her head will not grow back until she undergoes a special operation. But they can not do anything about it at this time. Besides the burns, the deep wounds, and a few broken bones she will be fine. To ease her pain they did some skin grafts on her back and head. Luckily we were quick on getting her to the doctor. If we waited too long she would have died from blood loss.”
Both Prince Jin and Feng Shun let out a sigh of relief. Prince Jin was truly happy that Feng Xi was out of danger. He looked at Mo Luixian who was standing guard and said: “Brother Mo, I want you to leave the Qiu sisters here and take the rest of your team and investigate who initiated the attack and report back to me. I don’t know which group was willing to take up such a job but they will not be let off easy,”
Mo Luixian looked at Prince Jin as he said: “Do not worry your Highness, even without your orders we would seek vengeance for our Boss. My team is already working on trying to find out who was behind the attack and all groups involved. I can guarantee that blood will flow.”
“Then I will be counting on you. If they are found to be in the palace let me know, I will send your people in with my people so you can drag that person out. No one will stop you!”
