The Rebirth Of Feng Xi - Volume 1 Chapter 95 Shall I Shave It?
Feng Xi took the doc.u.ments in her hand and smiled blissfully. For her father to trust her so much really made her happy. “If I could get up right now, I would hug and kiss your cheek!” Feng Xi said happily.
Feng Shun let out a laugh. He was happy to see his daughter smiling so much after being through such a traumatic experience. If only he knew what she had gone through in her past life. Being blown up by a missile was nothing compared to the feeling of despair she had before.
As night fell Feng Xi had Prince Jin push her out into the garden so she could enjoy the night time air. The wind blew causing Feng Xi to reach up and hold on to her hat. “Jin’er today was a good day.” Feng Xi said smiling. As she tilted her head back and looked up at him.
“It’s good that you had fun today.” Prince Jin said as he leaned his head down lightly kissing Feng Xi’s lips.
“Mmm So we are officially married. But our wedding is still a year off. Although normally We should be heading to a wedding chamber to seal the deal, I still want to wait until I turn eighteen. I hope you do not mind.” Feng Xi hoped that Prince Jin would not be mad for making him wait another year even though they are lawfully married now.
“Xi’er, I will not lie to you. I truly wish I could taste every inch of your body. But I will respect your wishes no matter what. Plus you still have another six months before you are fully healed. What’s another six months after that? We are still young so it is fine. But I think for your present next year I will buy you a new bed.” Prince Jin at first was serious while at the end he was joking.
Feng Xi blushed. But she had to admit she really could not wait to finally become one with Prince Jin. She had actually many fantasies about it already. She would of course, never tell Prince Jin this. She reached up and wrapped her hands around Prince Jin’s neck pulling his lips towards hers. The two kissed under the moonlight enjoying each other’s company. In the modern era, it was hard to find such a pure love between two people. Feng Xi knew how lucky she was to have Prince Jin. Out of every man in the world, it would be very unlikely to find someone like him again. Someone who held true to his words, never wavering to anyone. He had stuck with her through the hardsh.i.p.s and was still willing to love her even when she became disfigured.
A few more months passed and Feng Xi was finally ready for the first of her procedures in the hope of restoring the ability to regrow her hair. This procedure was very delicate and would take many sessions at a few hours at a time. Outside the operating room, Prince Jin and Feng Shun both were outside waiting for the procedure to end.
“You said this will work?” Feng Shun asked.
“The doctor said there is a 90% percent chance she can regrow her hair. Even more so since she had been given the best treatment in the world for restoring her skin. She should have no issues. They take hair follicles from other parts of the body, splice them and then implant them into the head. It’s a long procedure so she will be put under for the duration of it each time.” Prince Jin explained. He had found the best doctor in the world to do this procedure. So he could only hope things worked out well.
“That’s good. That’s good. I hope this does work. She might not say anything but I know she misses her hair.” Feng Shun felt bad for his daughter. He knew she hated not having hair on her head. But Feng Shun knew that she was also one to keep these small dissatisfactions to herself. Since she knew nothing could be done about it.
“Whether she can or not does not matter to me. Even if she were to be bald the rest of her life, she would still be my, Tian Jin’s wife!” Prince Jin said proudly. He liked the fact that he could call Feng Xi his wife now.
As time ticked by things stayed quiet, it seemed the purge of many of the noble families that had been a part of the missile strikes had caused the others to stay quiet. Feng Xi was able to fully heal in peace. It was on this day that a scream came from the bathroom. Causing Prince Jin to run to find out what was going on. “What’s wrong!?”
“Jin’er come touch the top of my head!” Feng Xi had a bright smile on her face.
Seeing that smile, Prince Jin already knew what was going on. He walked over and rubbed his hand over her head. Ginning he said: “Seems my Xi’er has a bit of stubble. Shall I shave it for you?”
“You dare!?” Feng Xi gave him a murderous look, causing Prince Jin to laugh out loud and pull the girl who was just in a bath towel into his embrace.
“I would never do such a thing.” Prince Jin said, lowering his head, kissing the top of Feng Xi’s head.
“You better not.” Feng Xi snorted as she hugged Prince Jin. “Let’s go out to dinner tonight to celebrate.”
“That sounds good. There was a new hotel opened recently that has a five star restaurant on the tenth floor. Shall we try out the food there?”Prince Jin asked.
“Why not. We can find out if the star rating is what it adds up to be.”
