Raven was thinking while heading towards the Goldenmine City once again . Apparently the Mayor had found some kind of treasure and wanted to gift it to him. Raven of course will not decline free stuff and who knows that treasure may be something truly rare ..

‘ Hmm… it’s weird! The city should only be a few kilometers away but there is no crowd anywhere . According to the information, the city was now visited frequently by merchants and some crafting masters so there should be at least some people on the road .. ”

Raven looked at the sky and found the situation more and more suspicious because it was currently morning and the best time to travel .

Raven kicked the ground and dissapeared from the spot startling the cultivators who were hiding in the shadows ..

” Careful! ” One of them managed to feel that something was wrong and shouted abrupt but alas he was too late .

Raven used the element of surprise and killed a group of 3 with his long sword in seconds and then chose to hide for a while and observe the situation.

Raven was now extremely sure that all of them definitely had great battle experience because they used less than three seconds to regroup . Raven could see their faces and was sure that he had never seen any one of them before .

” Who are you guys and why are you chasing after me ? ” Raven decided to show himself and directly asked because the rest of the numbers did not pose any threat to him .

Raven was surprised by the question but had already decided to kill of them so denied their request at once .

The distance was enough so Raven used the battle skill Hundred Flame Cleave and shot 10 compressed Flame energy blades at them .

Each blade was one meter long and was way more powerful than the ones Raven could use in the Foundation Realm . He was now Core Formation Realm cultivator so instead of qi used core energy which was several times more powerful . And Raven also used some of the surrounding energy thus making the attack more powerful .

In less than a second , only one of the them was left alive as the rest were chopped into 2 or 3 pieces each .

Raven directed his aura at the survivor and forced him to kneel down on the sandy ground .

Raven ignored the pleading expression and directly asked one question .

” If you tell me the truth then I promise to give you a quick death otherwise I will have no choice but to torture you . You have one second to choose your own fate ! ”

Raven calmly stated and the man instantly chose to speak because he knew that Raven would definitely torture him if he did not speak .

Raven retracted his aura back and the man could not help but spew a mouthful of blood.

” Cough.. We were ordered by young master Sulong to ambush you and bring back your head ! ”

Raven frowned and killed the man by cleanly separating his head from the body .

While collecting the loot Raven started thinking.

‘ Sulong ? That man called him young master so they must be his clansmen . Tch .. to think that that brat acted against me even though I had already warned him once. Raven collected 11 space rings and burnt the corpses into ash before hasting towards the Goldmine City .
