” Haha.. Brat , you can really drink ! This is Snake Spirit Wine and the strongest wine in the whole continent. Haha… you actually drank two small bottles of it ! ”

Blaze laughed loudly and patted Raven’s shoulder with his strong arms.

” Stop it Old Man ! It freaking hurts! ” Raven shouted and did not give the Grand Elder any face .

Actually it was sect Leader Germa who sent Raven to the palace of Blaze few days ago . He wanted Raven to learn Flame Arts from Blaze but this old man only chatted with Raven about nonsense matters all the time. Raven only found some comfort in wine and now Blaze started bothering him here too. Raven was helpless because Blaze was too powerful for him to do anything .

On top of that Raven met Sasha and her mother in the palace . He was naturally happy and tried to flirt with Sasha but she just gave him a cold shoulder and ran away each time. For Raven these days nothing good happened so his mood was currently very bad .

” Old man , why are you not teaching me anything ? I’m trying to learn seriously but you do not even teach me single thing of manipulate core energy swiftly . ” Raven decided that he had enough so if Blaze rejected him one more time then he would just leave and start experimenting with Formations . The art has become game for him now because he has the inheritance of the Ancestor which contains many complicated runes and many basic ones too. Raven felt satisfaction each time he successfully inscribed a Formation and now he could inscribe pretty much all Level 1 Formations with ease .

” Tch.. boring young lad ! Youngsters of your age should enjoy life more and here you just blabber about training all the time ! ” Blaze went poured himself another cup of fragrant wine . ” Child , it’s not that I do not want to teach you ! It’s just that I cannot use much energy currently…”

Raven may have drunk a lot but his mind was still clear to understand the serious tone of Blaze thus he became interested in the reason why Blaze was not able to use energy as he liked . He could also feel the sadness because for a cultivator, it must be hard to remain calm because he cannot use his cultivation for which he endured pain and used a lot of his time. For Blaze , he must have used more than half of his life for just increasing cultivation .

” Tch.. Old man tell me about your story then ! We have all the time and maybe I can help you with your problem .. ” Raven seriously said but Blaze only laughed and shook his head .

” Youngster , you cant do anything because this old man has already met every accomplished alchemist on this continent and all could not do a thing ! My injury is from a battle from ten years ago .

I had reached the peak of Earth Realm and gladly participated in the battle with demons who dared to invade into our continent . All the Sects sent their most powerful experts for the final battle at the Mystical Mountains.

We had more than one hundred members but the demons were endless as the entrance to their dimension was on the Mystical Mountain. We battled for more than a month and exhausted our pills quickly because we had no time to gradually absorb the energy from air .

In the end we succeeded in repealing them but suffered great amount of casualties on our side . The previous sect Leader of both our Heavenly Element and Thousand Sword Sect perished along with more than thirty peak Earth realm experts .

During the last battle , we assisted the previous Sect Leaders to kill the three Demon Generals . I took a heavy blow and my inner world was damaged greatly. My Foundation was safe and I did not lose my cultivation but I cannot use my energy in great amounts. Thus I just use Talismans most of the time because they require less energy . ”

Raven’s eyes were now shot open because he had no idea that such a huge war had happened. He once again realised that the world was not safe and was threatened by many other races who from time to time try to invade their world from their own dimensions.

Raven remembered the day when Blaze used mid level teleportation talisman to teleport him at the main gate of Flame Hall . Only now he realized that he was the one who had judged the situation wrongly .

” Old man , I have a good pill with me so eat it. If you dont get better then I promise that I will stop chasing after your granddaughter for good. ”

Raven took out one Foundation Restoring Pill from his inventory and said in a serious tone. Blaze had long heard that Raven was chasing after Sasha but he did nothing to stop him because in his eyes Raven was a good and loyal seedling .

So when Blaze heard such a heavy promise coming out of the young man’s mouth, he had no choice but to swallow the pill .

The instant Blaze swallowed the pill , Raven grinned and went for other good wines while Blaze was at a loss for words !

The injury that made him feel helpless for ten years , dissapeared in few seconds after he swallowed a tiny pill . The situation was too much for even an experienced old man like him . He felt like crying but managed to hold his dignity in front of the youngster. He just got lost in thoughts and drank wine happily for the first time in ten years .
