The atmosphere was bustling as the crowd of disciples cheered loudly for the participants who fought using all their skills on the top of huge battle platform.

Elder Long was the overseer of the whole gathering and served as the referee . He called the names one by one and the participant battled with each other . The loser was out of the tournament while the winner advanced to the next round .

Suddenly Elder Long shouted a name which surprised the crowd because they did not think that he had become so strong already.

” Raven VS Claudia ! ”

Raven jumped on top of the white platform and had a small smile on his face while looking at the lady who seemed to be his opponent.

” Why did you challenge me specifically? ” Raven asked because he was curious about the reason . He had not met this woman who had blonde hair and huge bust before.

” Tch.. you participating in this tournament is already insulting us who prepared for six months sharpening our skills . So what that you are sect Master’s personal disciple ? I will beat you into a pulp in front of everyone today and make you realise your place ! ”

The voice was nice but the harsh words made Raven speechless because he did nothing and had to receive such insults . He glanced at the smug face of Sect Master who just wanted to show off …

” Begin ! ”

Raven was not prepared because he was lost in thoughts but he had no fear at all .

Claudia came rushing at him with a one meter long water spear made of core energy . The weapon looked mighty but Raven was disappointed because she was only at Level 5 and already wasted so much of energy on the spear . She could have just used a weapon and evenloped it in sharp water slicer instead.

‘ This girl has quite pure water energy but she lacks battle experience very much . The energy of core cultivators is already not much so the spear will exhaust her energy and Divine Sense rapidly which she used to maintain the spear form . ‘ Raven casually thought while dodging the spear each time effortlessly.

From outsider look it only appeared that Raven was on the defensive because in just one second both of them had moved so fast that it appeared like Raven suffered more than three blows each second .

Soon the crowd realised something was wrong because Raven was still smiling and his clothes were completely intact while Claudia was completely out of breath and her spear looked like it was going to crumble soon .

” You should not have used such a flashy move because you lack battle experience to use it as one shot killing blow ! ”

Raven wanted to provide some advice to her before winning the match but looks like Claudia was extremely annoyed .

She just used every ounce of her remaining strenght and rushed at Raven at insane speed. Raven was impressed because she subconsciously had mastered her movement skill to another level .

Facing the sharp tip of the spear , Raven only thought that a horned beast was coming at him with a full force tackle attack . So he waited for the last moment while maintaining extreme concentration that he had gained from experiencing so many life and death battles .

‘ Its time.. ‘

Just when the spear looked like it was going to pierce Raven’s torso , he suddenly disappeared and Claudia lost her focus .

Raven did not let this moment of confusion go and just casually used a leg swipe to trip her .

Claudia did not what happened and suddenly felt down on her back . Raven easily placed his hand on her bare neck .

” Game Over ”

He smiled and gestured Elder Long to announce the results because he was worried that the stubborn lady would get up and overuse her energy . Raven was not offended by her childish reasons to hate him so he did not wish for her to suffer .

” Winner Raven Flame ! ”

With the shout of Long , the crowd bursted out while Raven ignored their complaints and leisurely stepped down off the platform.

What a joke ? This was a battle and there is no need to show off skills if they are not needed. Raven planned to win many rounds so he had to conserve his energy as much as he can . Thus he entered inside the waiting hall and went into his room and started eating some fruits .
