The Renegade And The Paragon Time Patrollers - Chapter 1 Rules Of Engagement.

A saiyan in a grey and purple gi stands in a barren desert waiting for something and growing more and more impatient. “Ok that’s it I’m blowing up the star.” The saiyan says charging up a purple ki blast in his hand then aiming it at the main star to this solar system but before he fires it he notices familiar ki. “Fen… WHAT THE HELL MAN!” A voice yells from behind him he turns to see a saiyan in a grey and cyan gi and a female in grey and yellow saiyan battle armor. “Nice to see you Arugula… oh and Arune… So tell me what did I do?” Fen asks with a smile. “You turned Bulma into a cookie then fed her to Buu!” Arugula says loudly in an annoyed tone. “Wow… I guess blowing up the star didn’t work.” Fen says chuckling while Arugula just sighs. “Alright, so what are we banning this time… Within reason.” Arugula says as Arune throws a capsule on the ground that doesn’t immediately activate. “Did you press the button down?” Fen asks Arune. “Of course I did!” She snaps back at him she walks over to it and it suddenly puffs out smoke and a chair with a table and a large quantity of food she sits down at the table.

“Hmm… Last time we did no blast attacks… which sucked royally.” Fen says and Arugula just nods in agreement. “Oh, I know! No ultra instinct.” Fen says look at Arugula. “Alright, then no gods bane ten on top of your Super Saiyan Nightshade.” Arugula says which causes Fen to twitch a bit. “Uhh… ok then something else… No flying?” Fen says and Arugula just nods in response then begins stretching Fen follows suit after a short while Fen closes his eyes and breathes calmly while a red and orange firey aura begins to surround him. “Super Saiyan god right away? Alright then.” Arugula says raising his right hand which he then closes quickly into a fist changing instantly into a super saiyan god. “You’ve always been amazing at controlling this form you even stood up to my Nightshade form… but I’d say we’re quite equal now.” Fen says cracking his knuckles and staring down Arugula with a smile. “I’ll get you to tell me exactly why you betrayed at some point… I can pretty much guess why since you gained access to your gods’ bane amplifier after using the dragon balls to remember everything… But I would like to hear it from you.” Arugula says talking a fighting stance Fen gets one final stretch in before taking up a fighting stance.

They stare at each other for a moment before charging at the exact same time clashing fists and creating a shockwave that reaches Arune she creates a barrier with ki to protect her and her food as she overindulges her food Arugula and Fen clash fists for a short while before fen jumps and kicks Arugula in the face sending him flying away past Arune who looks up from her food out of concern. “Don’t worry this form is constantly regenerating him I’m not quite sure why its always done that for him specifically…” Fen says before disappearing. Arugula smashes into sand dunes and gets buried in the sand Fen appears around where he saw Arugula get buried in. “Why are you so damn good at controlling this form?!” Fen shouts not able to sense Arugula anymore Fen creates ki balls then throws them into the sky they begin to grow in size Fen looks down at the sand noticing that it’s turning to into glass at an alarming rate so he jumps far back as flames begin to erupt from the ground sending glass shards everywhere the flames disappear suddenly then appear right in front of Fen. “Oh! I thought you were turning ki into some sort of fire attack…” Fen says looking at the mass of fire. “There’s a reason I had to stop using this form I just kept burning brighter and brighter.” Arugula says as the fire turns blue then normalizes.

Fen turns back to his base then lets out a powerhouse scream as he begins to get enveloped in violent purple ki that grows larger and larger before it dissipates and Fen stares down Arugula with purple eyes. “That looks like it hurts.” Arugula says as he stares back with his blue eyes. “Well, you know my ki is poisonous while in this form… so what do you think it does to me?” Fen says which makes Arugulas eyes widen in shock as he had never thought of that before. “Oh… then doesn’t that mean your gods’ bane makes whatever it’s doing to your body much worse?” Arugula asks Fen just smiles. “Let’s just get on with the fighting we’ve talked long enough besides your always being watched while on the job right?” Fen says before once again taking a fighting stance Arugula cracks his knuckles then takes his fighting stance. “Can I fight?” Arune asks. “Uh, I don’t think you’d be able to do much even with your incredibly powerful base.” Fen says which angers Arune she begins to power up substantially before she lets out a quick yell causing a bright green aura to flow out of her hair turns green and she takes a deep breath. “Ookay… Guess you could do something…” Fen says as she charges at him faster than he can react and punches him hard in the stomach causing him to nearly puke.

“Oh… Crap.” Fen says holding his stomach. “What the hell you couldn’t even transform the last time you tried to fight.” Fen says surprised. “Oh yeah, she’s a legendary super saiyan by the way.” Arugula says while chuckling. “Nooo, you don’t say.” Fen says obviously irritated looking at Arune. “Wow, you can’t take a punch.” Arune says. “I was just surprised it won’t happen again… Gods bane.” Fen says and after a short pause of nothing, his purple aura comes back more erratic than it was when he was first transforming. “Arugula when are you going to train me to sense godly ki?” Arune says not sure how to gauge the strength. “Oh, he’s roughly three times stronger now.” Arugula says as he sits down crisscross still in his blue form Arune charges at Fen once more but he only narrowly evades her attack so he raises his hand into the air Arune looks at the sky to see massive orange ki balls turn purple then merge with each other. “Arune! Focus.” Arugula says which causes arune to look down and not see Fen anywhere. “Damn!” Arune yells upset. “He didn’t throw those up there for you… or me for that matter I think its more of him taking a part of the galaxy with him if we did try to take him in.” Arugula says playing around with the sand out of boredom.

“Where did he go?” Arune asks herself as she looks everywhere trying to figure out where he is. “Just focus a bit Arune he isn’t that hard to notice.” Arugula says she then looks over at him and shrugs but then sees Fen also playing around with the sand sitting next to Arugula. “Arune we can fight once we get back you’ll just get angry fighting Fen since he will just toy with you we’ll do special training when we get back.” Arugula says which makes Fen raise an eyebrow at him. “No, I don’t mean THAT kind of special Fen I’m not that kind of guy… Well, when I’m on duty at least…” Arugula mumbles the last bit then clears his throat. “Alright but I’m going to punch REALLY hard when we’re in our base forms.” Arune says before she goes back to her base. “So how do you train her in her base form her base is quite a more powerful than ours combined.” Fen looks at Arugula waiting for a response. “I kinda cheat using Omen…” Arugula whispers to Fen then swiftly punches him in the face sending him flying away he quickly recovers then makes a what the hell face at him. “Kaioken times three!” Arugula shouts and a red spiked aura surrounds his usual blue aura. “You know what let’s just amp this up… Gods bane ten!” Fen shouts out and his aura grows much more massive that begins to change the color of the sky to purple. “Really?! already… ugh fine give me a moment.” Arugula says while turning back into his base he stands still closing his eyes and breathing in then out in regular intervals as a white blue and dark blue crystalline aura surrounds Arugula he opens his eyes which are now silver he quickly looks at his arms then grabs a strand of hair checking its color.

“Damn I didn’t do it right.” Arugula says calmly before shutting his eyes once again but he opens them and shouts out loud as his aura grows and begins to raise he stands there for a couple of moments shouting beginning to feel pain as his hair slowly turns white. “Hm… Arune you should probably go back to Conton city cause this is about to become intense besides you won’t even be able to see the fight.” Fen says to Arune as Arugula is still shouting. Arune thinks about it for a moment before agreeing silently she disappears Fen waits patiently as Arugulas hair finally turns white. “Hey, you got it now great.” Fen says as arugula begins to breathe deeply for a moment before staring Fen down and instantly clearing the gap between them they clash fists creating a massive shockwave that sends all the sand for a quarter mile flying away from them the drop down onto sands stone. “Hmm… Maybe we should fly now?” Fen says as he looks around. “Sure any new rules of engagement?” Arugula says calmly as he looks all around at the crater they are now in.

“Nah no rules… except no destroying the planet.” Fen says which causes Arugula to raise an eyebrow. “So the time machine is here huh?” Arugula says as they both begin to fly into the air. “It could be here or another me could be here with a similar time machine…” Fen says which makes Arugula role his eyes Fen raises his hand and creates a ball of ki which grows large Arugula then puts his hand together. “Kame-Hame-HA!” Arugula says firing the blast at Fen who retaliates by firing a beam that grows massive they keep trying to one-up each other by boosting up their blast attacks they both simultaneously stop their beam attacks knowing it won’t go anywhere Fen creates a ki blade then takes a defensive stance waiting for Arugula to attack but he just raises his hand at him and points two fingers at him Fen prepares himself for a blast or ki blade but wasn’t prepared for Arugula to suddenly appears in front of Fen with his two fingers on his chest Fens eyes widen as he looks down to see Fen close his fingers into a fist and hits him exactly where he was pointing with his fingers Fen flies away from Arugula immediately and hold his chest Fen looks up at Arugula. “how the hell did you generate so much force?!” Fen shouts at Arugula but he just smirks.

“How the hell did you even learn ultra instinct?” Fen asks Arugula who was about to charge at him. “Oh I was experimenting with various amplifiers and went a bit overboard almost killing myself when I was pushing myself to try and deactivate the amplifiers I felt a sort of spark but promptly passed out I’m not sure what happened exactly but apparently I beat up a whole bunch of time patrollers who were looking for me and when I woke up everyone was just staring at me.” Arugula says longwindedly before he starts to power up even further. “Now then no more playing around!” Arugula says but suddenly twitches and puts his hand on his ear. “What? Uhh… no? I know going all out is dangerous I would never go all out.” Arugula says with his hand still on his ear. “Ugh… fine I’ll only get semi-serious.” Arugula then says removing his hand from his ear and Fen takes this opportunity to charge at him and attempt to slice Arugula downwards but he just catches his forearm Fen smiles as he’s about to do something but feels an uncountable amount of punches to his chest and stomach Arugula pulls Fen closer and knees him in the stomach with his right leg then spin kicks him sending him flying away. “OK, THAT’S IT!” Fen shouts angrily as he recovers. “GODS BANE TWENTY!” He screams as his aura becomes wild. “WHAT!?” Arugula shouts obviously surprised as Fen punches him in the face sending him through the planet below the planet begins to shake violently as lave begins to erupt from the planet below.

“Damn I lost my temper… better go save him and the time machine.” Fen says flying to arugula who is unconscious he picks him up and flies him to a cave and throws him into the time machine where two saiyan females look at Fen confused. “Wait why are you saving him?” One of the female saiyans ask. “Killing him would be a huge detriment to my plans… and he’s still my best friend regardless. OH! put on the masks I gave you and only call your selves One and Two.” Fen says to them and they quickly put on featureless masks. “Wait… I think I know him from somewhere! Also, I call being Two.” Two says looking at Arugula. “He’s from Vegeta.. uh, the planet like you two which is why you need to wear the masks.” Fen responds and sets Arugula down on the ground. “He should be unconscious for a while so we should have enough time to bring him to Conton city and drop him off.
