The Revenge Turned To Love - Chapter 309
Xian moved his hand above the photo frame and said, “You should not have left us.” Shui Zhang was confused to hear that. “We were a happy family until you stepped out of our lives. I want to talk out everything with you which I felt that time as a kid,” Xian pronounced and turned to look at Shui Zhang.
“Give that frame to me and leave,” Shui Zhang stressed his words. “I do not want to talk with you. We are no longer a family,” Shui Zhang proclaimed.
“Why are you doing this? After 25 years, I am willingly standing before you to talk to you yet, you are pushing me away. Am I that bad son to you?” Xian asked his father.
“Yes. Now, leave as you have gotten your answer,” Shui Zhang stated and forwarded his hand to take the photo frame from Xian but he stepped back.
“No, you are lying. Until when you are going to lie to me? Do you know how much it is hurting me, mom and you?” Xian questioned his father. “Aunt Chynaa told me about the past and I found that you chose me over your love. You should have thrown me out because that way you and mom would have been together,” Xian pronounced.
Shui Zhang did not say anything. “Why are you not saying anything? Hiding things will turn everything right. I am turned into a bad son and you into a bad father because of those misunderstandings. You should not have sacrificed yourself in all this, dad,” Xian asserted as a tear drop fell from his one eye down his cheek.
After 25 years, Xian called him ‘dad’ which was an overwhelming feeling for Shui Zhang. The wall that he had built around himself broke down as soon as he heard the word ‘dad’ from his son. He lowered his eyes as tears filled his eyes as well.
“Tell me the truth, please. I have found out everything still, I want to hear the truth from the mouth of my father,” Xian pleaded his father. Shui Zhang sat on the tiny sofa there and wiped the tears off his eyes.
“Forgive your father for giving you all this pain. Have a seat,” Shui Zhang told Xian who, got seated on the sofa, ready to listen to his father.
“When I was in the college I encountered your mother through your sister. Chynaa used to love me but I had never seen her as a woman apart from my friend. I admired Biyu a lot so, I dated her but, I told her not to tell his sister and parents until we would go official. She agreed to me but, I guess that was the point where I did biggest mistake.
The day we announced our marriage, Chynaa left the house. We searched for a lot but did not find anything about her. Then, after a year I encountered Lee Shan Bin. He was in the same college as us and they both had married each other. Lee Shan Bin always loved her but I think she married him to take revenge from me and her sister.
I had a tiny firm that time and it suffered huge losses. Lee Shan Bin helped me and I thought everything is good until he asked me my most precious thing from me,” saying this Shui Zhang’s voice choked.
He controlled himself from breaking down into tears. “You should have given me away. Mom suffered way more than me and you also. Moreover, you said that I should not have born,” Xian stated and wiped the tears from his eyes.
Shui Zhang lifted his head to look at Xian. “So, that you can hate me because I became the reason of your and Biyu’s unhappiness. I wanted you to hate me and stay away from me as fa’s as could,” Shui Zhang stated.
“Indeed I hated you all these years but today that vanished and I have started hating myself as a son. My father who accepted miseries for me, I blamed him until today I found out the truth. Do you know as a son what kind of feeling I am getting? I am feeling disgusting because I became the reason of your separation with mom.
Why did you do that? Your love for mother should have been upfront rather than for me. She should have been more important to you than me,” Xian started blaming himself.
“You are a part of our love, Xian, which is many times stronger than my love for Biyu. I did not want my son to grow up hating us for making him a criminal, working for a mafia. I could not separate you from your mother. A father cannot see his son in a wrong business, that’s why I decided to go away from your lives,” Shui Zhang explained to Xian who started weeping like a child.
“Why did you not come to see me in the hospital?” Xian asked while sobbing.
“Forgive me for that. I wanted to come desperately but I was captured by the goons to give up on either of one thing. I was still in the dilemma what to do when I was informed about you. I told them to release me as I was ready to give up on the company but not on Biyu. The time was tough and making the decision was tougher,” Shui Zhang pronounced.
“As a child, I missed you every time. I now understand why did you tell me to die, because the decisions were thought and you were frustrated,” Xian proclaimed, wiping the tears off his cheeks.
“Forgive me for doing that. That was the only way to keep myself away from you. The Revenge of Biyu’s sister from me and Biyu was impacting our child so, for his better future I decided to leave you both,” Shui Zhang stated.
“Forgive me for doubting you always. Now, I will do my duties as a son.. Please, come home and complete our family, dad,” Xian requested, peering into his father’s eyes.
