The Revenge Turned To Love - Chapter 310
Shui Zhang’s eyes filled with tears when he heard his son was telling him to come home with him. Those years were tough for him and he thought that he would end up dying without ever re-uniting with them but somewhere he had satisfaction that he prevented a very big mishap from happening.
“Dad, as a son I should have understood you but I always blamed you. In fact, I am lucky to have a father like you who left everything to save his son, to give a good life to his son. Forgive me for the wrong I have done to you,” Xian again apologized to his father.
“As a father I developed hatred in your heart which resulted in many bad consequences. I hurt Biyu when I promised her that I would never left her but left her all alone with you. Forgive your father also for saying those harsh words to you,” Shui Zhang told Xian as he smiled. There were tears of happiness in their eyes.
Xian stood up from the sofa chair and went to his father. He sat beside him and tightly hugged him. “I missed this feeling for many years,” Xian said as he snuggled his father tightly. Shui Zhang patted at his son’s back. “I am happy that everything is cleared out. I thought you would be angry at me even if I would tell the truth that’s why I was not ready to accept the truth. Forgive your father,” Shui Zhang told Xian who pulled away from his father.
“Dad, let’s go. You are not going to stay here anymore. Your family needs you,” Xian asserted with a tiny smile on his lips. Shui Zhang shook his head and the two stood up from the couch. “But, Biyu…she met me yesterday and I talked rudely with her. I think I shall…”
Xian cut his father’s words in the middle. “Mom always waited for you. You two can clear the misunderstandings by conversing with each other,” Xian pronounced and picked the photo frame from the sofa table. The two then came out of the house. Xian made his father sit on the passenger seat and then drove to the home.
In the home, Mishi asked Mark why Xian was not home who told her that Xian did not come to work. “What?” Mishi exclaimed. “I thought he is in rhe office. He did not answer any of my calls,” asserted Mishi with slight annoyance and at the same time she was worried.
Zhao could not see Mishi acting like that so he spoke, “Mishi, actually he told Chang and me that he has to go somewhere for an important work.”
“What happened, mommy? Why is daddy not home? I have to tell him that I have make many new friends in the school,” Samuel said softly who was sitting on the couch beside Mishi.
“Daddy is coming. Did you complete your homework else dad will get angry?” Mishi asked Samuel who shook his head. “Auntie Yin helped me and I completed my homework,” Sam replied. Mishi smiled and caressed Samuel’s hair.
“Oh, Xian is here,” Mark said when he saw Shui Zhang coming along with him. Sam quickly got down the couch and ran towards Xian. “Daddy,” he happily said and stuck to Xian’s one leg. Everyone stood up from the couch and shockingly looked at Xian who had come home with Shui Zhang.
“How is my child?” Xian asked Sam as he bent on his knees and cupped Samuel’s face.
“I am good, dad. I made so many friends,” Samuel told Xian with a delightful expression. Xian kissed Samuel’s cheek and said, “Dad will talk with Sam later. Go to your room.”
Samuel made a pout and looked at Shui Zhang who was smiling at them. “Dad, who is this old uncle?” Samuel asked innocently in a low voice but that was audible to everyone there.
“This is my father, your grandpa and he is not old man,” Xian told Samuel who bowed his head in front of Shui Zhang. “Where were you grandpa? Had you gone somewhere?” Samuel asked, looking with his puppy eyes at Shui Zhang whose eyes turned teary.
“Yes, grandpa has gone on a long trip,” Xian told Samuel when Yin came to Samuel. “Come Sam. Let’s go to your room. I have a gift for you,” Yin Mei told Samuel who happily walked out from there to his room with Yin.
Xian stood up and looked at Shui Zhang. “He is our son, Samuel Zhang,” Xian told his father and then looked at Mishi. “Where is mom?” Xian asked.
“M-mom is in her room,” Mishi replied and came closer to them. “I shall call her, then. Dad, please make yourself comfortable,” asserted Xian, gesturing towards the couch. Mishi and others were confused but listening they understood that Xian had cleared out the misunderstandings between him and his father.
“Un… I mean father, please have a seat on the couch,” Mishi politely said and took him to the couch. Shui Zhang got seated and thanked Mishi who went to the kitchen to bring the water for him.
“W-what are you going to give me?” Biyu asked as Xian brought his mother in the living room when the smile over her face disappeared as she saw Shui Zhang there. In reality, there were mix emotions in her eyes. She looked at Xian who was smiling at her. Shui Zhang stood up seeing Biyu there.
“Mom, sorry for being this late. But, yes now we shall reunite. We suffered a lot especially you two. I talked with your sister and she told me the truth that dad left us to save me,” Xian stated as his eyes turned teary. The tears in Biyu’s could not stop and poured down her cheeks. Shui Zhang went to them and grabbed Biyu’s hand. “Forgive me for leaving you and Xian in the middle,” Shui stated.
Biyu shook her head as she was sobbing. Xian put his hand around his mother’s shoulder and hugged her tightly. He reached out his other hand towards Xian and pulled his father too in a joint hug. “I always wanted to feel this,” Xian stated as he hugged his both parents.
