The RISE Of NATHALIA CARTER - Chapter 818
But Christina was strange today. She wouldn’t believe Christina did that for her good.
Angelo put more blood on her before the filming. Compared with Christina, she was in a mess.
In recent scenes, the heroine was surrounded, and she finally broke through after a fierce fight.
It sounded easy but was quite complex during the filming because there were many extras and everyone should do it right.
Different from her, Christina looked clean and tidy.
In this scene, Angelo had wounds all over her body but still tried to stand straight because she knew that she would never get up once she fell here.
“Wait!” said Christina suddenly. The extras looked at her confusedly. She didn’t have such words in the script.
Then, Christina ignored the puzzled stares, walked to Angelo, and stared at her sharply.
Clarence didn’t stop it. Good actors sometimes had creative acting. Christina acted well. So, Clarence wanted to see how she would act.
With a crisp sound, Christina slapped Angelo, who felt a buzz in her ears.
“You’re going to die, you still won’t give up, will you? You are a villain. What? You want people to eulogize your spirit of not falling till dying?”
Even being slapped, Angelo stood still. Because no matter how the plot changed, she couldn’t fall.
Christina clenched Angelo’s chin and said with hate, “Today, I will avenge the deaths of those who fell on your hands!”

When the shooting finished, the blood on Angelo had solidified.
Clarence complimented Christina on her free rein just now because her overweening attitude made the viewers so angry that everyone sympathized with the heroine and waited for her to fight back.
Angelo knew it was acting. Although the slap hurt, it was worthwhile.
Fortunately, Christina did it well at a time and didn’t slap her more times. Angelo tried to comfort herself and adjust her mood.
Daisy was sorry to see Angelo like that, but she could only help her remove the makeup as her assistant.
When they got out of the shooting site, Angelo saw Drake’s car parking outside. Drake got off the car and walked towards her. Then he found there was something wrong with her.
“What’s the matter? You don’t look well.”
Angelo shook her head but couldn’t help frowning when she thought of the smell of the blood. After all, she had smelled it the whole day.
“Hi, Drake.”
Hearing Christina again, Angelo felt helpless. Every time there was Christina, her first word was always “Drake”. That was so disgusting!
“Are you come to pick up Angeline, Drake? Oh, that is so sweet!” continued Christina.
Angelo couldn’t stand it anymore, she opened the door and got in the car.
Outside, Drake said something to Christina, who then changed her face. It was not quite obvious, but Angelo saw it.
Then, Drake got in the car, fastened the safety belt, and said, “Go home with me.”
“Why?”
There was a tiredness in Angelo’s tone. After all, she worked overtime in the suffering of being enveloped by blood.
Holding the steering wheel, Drake glanced at her but didn’t answer her.
Angelo had no strength to ask more. She leaned her head on the window and soon felt sleepy.
When the car entered the Thorne house, Angelo was sleeping.
Hale saw Drake get out of the car and then go to the other side to pick a person out of the car.
“Mr. Drake…”
Hale walked up, but Drake gave him a look to make him keep silent. He then saw that the person Drake was holding was Angelo.
Hurriedly, he opened the door for Drake to enter. Like that, Drake held Angelo into the bedroom, and… it was Drake’s bedroom.
Drake came out and asked, “Where’s grandma?”
Hale was waiting outside. “Mrs. Thorne is taking a rest,” he answered at once.
“All right,” Drake replied and was about to go to his study when Corrine got out of her room.
Corrine walked to Drake and asked, “Does Angeline come today?”
Since Angelo disappeared, she thought of “him” from time to time. Now she had to admit that she was old and started to miss the kids.
But no one knew where Angelo was except Angeline. The Thorne family had a big information system, but they failed to find Angelo, so they were kind of worried about “him.”
“She’s in my room. She’s too tired from filming today. Later, I’ll call her for dinner.”
Drake knew why Corrine asked about Angeline. He also missed Angelo.
“Good. As long as she comes.”
Corrine nodded and turned to her room. She always stood straight, but her back looked old now.
“Who comes? Is it Angeline?”
Patrick suddenly appeared, looking very excited. But he was frustrated when he saw Drake’s cold eyes.
Angeline, his goddess, suddenly became his sister-in-law!
Thinking of that, Patrick felt it was so unfair. If he had been born earlier, he would have been the one who engaged Angeline.
“She’s sleeping. Don’t disturb her,” warned Drake. After that, he withdrew his eyes and went straight to his study.
Patrick stayed there for a while. Finally, he sighed and turned to leave.

When Angelo woke up, it was already dark. She looked around. Obviously, it was not her room.
The cool color of the decoration and the arrangement of the furniture seemed to be…
It was Drake’s room.
Angelo bounced off the bed like a spring when a sudden knock on the door sent her reeling.
“Miss Watts, are you awake? Dinner is ready. Mr. Drake wants you for dinner.”
A maid’s voice sounded outside the door. Angelo then believed that it was indeed Drake’s room. She didn’t expect that he brought her home.
When Angelo walked to the dining hall, Corrine waved at her, asking her to sit next to her.
“You must be tired, Angeline. I’ve asked them to make soup for you. It’s good for your body,” said Corrine, looking very loving.
Then she got a bowl of soup for Angelo, who took it over at once.
“Thank you, grandma.”
“We’re family. Just help yourself to it.”
