The RISE Of NATHALIA CARTER - Chapter 822
Angelo didn’t know what was wrong with her. Every time she boiled the coffee, she just boiled water. Then she was about to take the coffee away, but Drake wouldn’t let go of his hand.
“Drake?” Angelo looked at Drake nervously. The pressure fell on her again, that tears filled her eyes.
Seeing that, Drake let go of his hand and looked away. “Lisa will do these things. Just leave them alone.”
Just as he finished his words, Aiken walked in. “Mr. Thorne,” he said, “You have a wine party at seven. Shall we leave now?”
“Yeah.”
Drake closed the file, got up, and patted Angelo’s shoulder.
“Come with me,” he said.
Behind him, Angelo showed a bitter face. She lived with Drake, and now she worked with him all day. If this continued, Angeline would have been missing.
“Drake,” Angelo g.r.o.a.n.e.d, “I’m not feeling well. Can I go home?”
Drake looked back at her. Angelo didn’t eat much for breakfast and lunch with so many worries, so she looked pale now.
Seeing that Drake hesitated, Angelo prepared to vomit. As long as Drake didn’t agree, she would vomit at once.
But finally, Drake agreed. Angelo tried to hold her excitement until she returned home, where she let out a scream.
Hale heard the noise and came out to see Angelo there.
“What’s wrong, Angelo?” he asked.
Angelo waved her hand, “Nothing.”
In the evening, Drake came back, and he looked drunk.
Curiously, Angelo approached him. It was the first time she saw Drake drunk. But he looked nothing different except the unsteady steps.
Hale had supported Drake. But when Angelo approached him, he suddenly fell on her.
Drake didn’t look heavy, but he had been exercising that there were muscles all over his body, so Angelo almost crushed to her knees. Luckily, Hale held him in time.
“Let’s send him to his room,” said Angelo, gritting her teeth. Then she sent Drake back to his room with Hale.
When they lay him on the bed, Angelo was exhausted. She just sat on the bed and gasped.
Hale left. Angelo took a breath and was about to leave when she heard Drake call her.
She turned back only to find that Drake had sat straight. His eyes were so clear that he didn’t look drunk.
“Come here,” said Drake again.
Angelo had to move to him slowly. Just as she approached him, she was grabbed on the wrist by him, and then she felt the world turned upside down.
Lying on Drake’s bed. The smell of alcohol filled the air. She stared in shock at Drake, who was propped up above her, and for a moment, she couldn’t even speak.
Drake moved closer to her and was about to kiss her when she suddenly recovered and pushed Drake away as hard as possible.
Then the door was slammed. Angelo stood outside the door, gasped.
What did Drake want to do just now?
Angelo touched her face and suddenly understood something: she had the same face as Angeline, Drake must have taken her as Angeline just now.
It was all right that Drake recognized the wrong person. But Angelo knew her identity as the sixth young master of the Thorne family, so nothing couldn’t happen between her and Drake.
“Mr. Angelo, are you all right?”
Hale came over and saw Angelo looking alarmed, wondering what had happened.
“Nothing, nothing.”
Angelo took a deep breath and looked back, “My brother is drunk. Please take care of him.”
“Yeah. But sir, are you okay?”
Hale worried about Angelo, who forced a smile, “I’m fine. I should go to bed.”
After that, she turned to leave. It would not be very comfortable if she told others that Drake mistook her as Angeline.
Hale knocked at the door and then pushed it open. But Drake was sitting on the bed, looking quite sober.
Before dawn, Angelo left the house while everyone was sleeping sound.
She had thought it through that there was no way she could switch her identity except by sneaking away.
But what Angelo didn’t know was that the moment she got out of the house, Hale entered the study and told Drake about it.
Looking at the figure going out of the gate, Drake was quite complicated.
“Where’s she going?” he asked.
“Half an hour ago, he booked a ticket to France.”
The Thorne would know it as long as Angelo used her identity.
In the mirror, there was Drake’s sharp face, and his eyes looked deep and complicated.
He wasn’t quite sure if he was drunk or sober in the bedroom just now, but what he did to Angelo surprised himself.
It turned out that his affections for Angelo had become so overwhelming.
Angelo left probably because she had found out his love for her. She just stayed here for two days, and she was forced to leave.
It was dark outside, but Drake wasn’t sleepy at all.

When Angelo arrived at the airport, it was one hour till the departure. She got the ticket and was about to go to the airport lounge to take a rest when a male voice sounded behind her, “Angeline?”
Angelo froze there and didn’t turn back. As she knew, she was now dressed in a man’s suit.
“Angeline?”
The man called again and walked to her.
Angelo could only turn, then she saw a familiar face.
“Director Wilson?!” Angelo looked at him in astonishment.
Clarence was also surprised, he looked at Angelo’s clothes and asked, “Why do you dress like this?”
Angelo suddenly thought of something and quickly drew back her surprise, “You mistake me for Angeline, Mr. Wilson. I’m Angelo, Angeline’s brother.”
Clarence showed a knowing face. He had heard that Angeline had a twin brother, who was adopted by the Thorne family.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Angelo,” apologized Clarence.
Angelo smiled, showing that she didn’t mind it.
“Thank you for taking care of Angeline. She often talks about you.”
Angelo changed the subject, trying to act less like a girl.
But Clarence had a weird sense when she looked at the same face as Angeline. Finally, she said, “Yeah. We’re working together, so we help each other.”
