The RISE Of NATHALIA CARTER - Chapter 882
Angelo cheated on him again.
“Another thing, sir.” Aiken looked quite severe and showed the message from the company to Drake.
“While you’re abroad, someone made our first party to suspend the cooperation.”
Drake took a look at the message and sneered in disdain, “Then suspend it and send him to court.”
He was in a rage now. Angelo made him exhausted, and last night she cheated on him again. So now he vented his anger on the first party.
“Shall we continue to check the man who ruined our business?” asked Aiken. Meanwhile, he sent a message to make people collect materials from suing. If the first party couldn’t afford the penalty, they would have to spend some years in prison.
No one dared to break the contract with the Thorne unilaterally.
“Not necessary. Bring me a file about the Watts group recently.”
Drake sounded calm but decisive.
He stopped Aiken from investigating it because he couldn’t think of anyone else who would do that except for McCoy.
Drake didn’t want to do anything to the Watts group for Angelo, even when McCoy repurchased the shares illegally.
But now it seemed that McCoy wouldn’t stay low, then he needn’t be kind to him.

On the plane, Angelo had been nervous about cheating on Drake. As she looked at the thick white cloud outside the window, she felt much better.
Drake couldn’t get her on the plane, no matter how great he was. She thought.
A sense of sleepy came, Angelo yawned and closed her eyes.
She had a dream.
It was night. There were neon lights on both sides of the road, changing colors and twinkling!
Before Absolon got her into the car, she saw Christina.
Absolon offered a deal to Christina, then…
With a crisp slap, Absolon’s face turned aside, and a blusher of hand’s form appeared on his white face.
Then Christina took her from Absolon’s hands.
“You’re just a dog of our family. How dare you bargain?”
Christina looked arrogant, although she had been like this.
Angelo heard a sneer from Christina and then her voice, “I warn you the last time. Don’t long for things that do not belong to you. If there’s a next…”
“A disobedient dog could only end in death.”
“… Angeline! Angeline!”
Angelo suddenly opened her eyes and found Cindy waking her up.
“What’s wrong?”
“The plan is about to land. You have slept for ten hours. Are you still drunk or something?”
Angelo shook her head, confusing the reality with the dream.
The scene in the dream was what had happened the day before yesterday. Even when she remembered the later part, she still couldn’t understand why Christina saved her.
“You talked in your dream. What did you dream?” asked Cindy suddenly. Angelo paused and asked in surprise, “What did I say?”
“I’m not quite sure. You seem to say ‘let go of me’… ‘I’ll kill you’… What did you dream?” Cindy looked at Angelo curiously. Angelo felt weak all over her body. She leaned against the chair and replied, “I forgot.”
The plane landed. Angelo got back to Green.
After taking a day off, she went to Daisy’s engagement party. Although it was an engagement, it was an extraordinary spectacle.
Daisy and Darren were welcoming guests at the door.
As Angelo got out of the car, Daisy came up, pulled her hand, and said enthusiastically, “This is the best actress Angeline, isn’t she? Oh, I’m so honored to have you here!”
Some people noticed Angelo and slowed their steps to look at her. After all, Angelo won the valuable best actress award with her v.i.r.g.i.n movie.
“Oh, please. I’m just a small actress. Please help me more, Miss Daisy.”
They joked and chatted, and couldn’t help laughing.
“All right. Sit Angeline first, honey, you have a long time to talk later,” warned Darren. After all, they have so many guests to greet.
“Right. I’ll take you to the top table. I learned a few days ago that both my mother and Darren’s mother are your fans. They have been longing to see you.”
With that, Daisy entered the ball and sat Angelo well. Then she went to the door to receive guests.
Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Adams were elegant and quiet people, not as exaggerated as Daisy said. But everyone could tell that they liked Angelo.
When the celebrations started, Daisy changed the dress. It was a fluffy light blue dress with several layers of fine gauze covering the outside. There were no more decorations, but the dress looked elegant and straightforward.
When lights were on her, the dress twinkled like stars, attracting their eyes on them.
Angelo recognized it as Daisy’s design because she knew her style since she attended the costume design competition with Daisy.
And Daisy had started to study this special fine gauze then, but she didn’t apply it because of the match time limit.
After the engagement, Daisy had so many things to deal with and promised Angelo that she would go to her when available.
Angelo understood Daisy, who was no longer an idle little girl after her engagement.
“Why doesn’t Angelo attend Miss Daisy’s engagement today?”
“What are you doing here?”
Angelo didn’t expect Patrick to be here. Then Drake…
“We received an invitation. Others are not available, so I’m here. What? Why are you so surprised?” Patrick looked at Angelo in calm.
Angelo was relieved when she heard, “others are not available.” It seemed that Patrick came alone.
“I haven’t seen you for a long time. So, I’m kind of surprised to see you here,” said Angelo.
But for a while, she heard no reply from Patrick. When she started to be confused, Patrick suddenly said, “You have nothing to do later, do you? Go on a date with me.”
Angelo was confused.
What?
Before Angelo could figure out what was going on, Patrick pulled her into a car.
