The Rise Of Quetzalcoatl - Chapter 134
“Should we really continue the creation of these drugs?” Sophia asked.
“*sigh*… I honestly don’t care, but all in favor of ending the creation, raise your hands,”
Nobody but Sophia raised their hand.
I already expected this outcome as she was the only one oblivious to how precious these drugs are… we need them to keep our influence even if what we’re doing is a terrible act of humanity… well, we aren’t human anymore, so I guess we have an excuse.
“Next stop,” I say as we exit the building and follow the directions Charlotte had given us.
Despite her not being here, Charlotte is completely carrying this operation as without her directions, we would’ve spent hours trying to find each building containing a lord as all of them looked the exact same.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
This time, a man wearing a white robe, creaked open the door and, upon seeing us, blasted us with a sharp wind that threatened to cut Sophia in half.
It was too weak to affect us, but that didn’t matter as the blade went straight for Sophia, who was just about ducking out of the way.
SHING
Astra raised her arm in front of the blade, revealing her arm, which was coated in solidified blood that easily negated the wind blade.
Kshhh Kshhh
Charna quickly slipped in between the crack and killed the wind mage, painting the wooden door in dark red blood.
Killing this guy was fine, but we left the remaining guys unconscious.
“The blood looks a bit strange,” Nell mutters, and even without her powers, we would’ve been able to see that something had happened to his blood.
Charna quickly blasted the door open from the inside, garnering attention from everybody inside the building and outside.
The ones coming from the decrepit city were easily taken care of by me and everybody else who helped get rid of the wind mages that quickly shuffled down the stairs.
The metal sword would only damage Sophia, so we kept her behind Celestine and Clio, who always provided us with buffs.
This guy was a bit tricky… compared to the last guy as he had set up multiple traps, which were literally just machine guns in the corner of the rooms.
They were small and fit near the top, but it was clear he was stupid… as he didn’t prepare for dungeon runners to come raiding him.
GGGGGGRRRRRRRRR
Thousands of bullets were fired at us in an instant, but our skin was way too reinforced to be penetrated by bullets.
“D-DAMMIT!” He shouted before swinging his arm at me, creating a blade of air that was infused with some sort of white lightning.
It actually threatened to do some damage to us, so I froze it mid-air while placing the golden crown on my head.
The man’s face paled upon seeing what I ȧssumed to be his most powerful attack stopped in an instant.
‘Charna cut off one of-… Never mind,’ I muttered as soon as I saw Charna cut off one of his arms, leaving him bleeding out on the floor while crying out in pain.
“HELP! PLEASE! HELP ME! ANYBODY! SAVE ME FROM THESE MONSTERS!” He shouted.
‘Oh, what a coincidence,’ Charna muttered while standing over him.
A few of the men from earlier had woken back up and rushed to the top floor upon hearing their boss’s cry for help, but they couldn’t attack us as Charna had a blade to his throat.
“AHHHHHHHH! WHAT ARE YOU FUCKERS DOING! KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!” The boss shouted, his hood coming off, which revealed the face of a young man with a pretty attractive face.
He had lightly tanned skin and brown hair that flowed to his shoulders.
“If you don’t want him to die, then don’t move,” Charna says while lifting him up but keeping the dagger pressed against his throat.
The men couldn’t move, and they were a bit more loyal to the boss than I wanted.
“Do you see this? This is your boss… Pathetic, isn’t it?” I talk to the frightened men, slowly backing out of the room and into the hallway.
“Don’t badmouth Boss!” One of them shouts before charging towards me and even though everybody agreed to keep them all alive… I killed him.
My hand pierced straight through his stomach, the frost on my hand slowly coating his insides, killing him very slowly.
“ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
He cried out in pain as the nipping of freezing ice began to slowly eat him from the inside out.
“We are your new bosses now. Any complaints, and you die. Betray us, and you die. Kill yourself, and you die. You get killed, and you die. Anything that goes against us what we say… you die,” I repeat the same thing from before.
“Y-yes!” They all shouted, and I saw the boss’s face pale even further than before.
“YOU BASTAR-”
Charna stabbed right through his head, killing him instantly.
‘I thought we agreed not to kill any more of them?’ Amanda asks.
‘I needed to create an impression that they wouldn’t forget… and Charna made the right decision as he was a bit too rebellious to control. I probably would’ve done the same thing for not only him, but if the previous boss was not as cowardly as currently is,’ I replied and Amanda nodded her head.

“Oh nice, I leveled up,” I muttered as leveling had been a bit of a struggle for the past few days for some reason.
Either the amount of XP I get from monsters is much lower now, or there is some other factor that is lowering my XP gain.
But, the other girls were doing fine as they were about to fully max out their levels again, and only then will they reach my stage of evolution.
Hopefully, they don’t surpass me… That’d be embarrassing.
