The Self-Proclaimed “Normal” Guy of The S-Class Academy - Chapter 12
Private, Teikai Academy.
It is an integrated junior and senior high school established by Teikai, a well-known large corporate group in Japan. It has only been in existence for ten years, and because of this, the school focuses on various sports, higher education, and the performing arts.
How much effort is put into this?
It would be easiest to explain the environment regarding the sports clubs.
First of all, the baseball, soccer, rugby, and softball clubs each have their own grounds. Including the general grounds, the school has five grounds. This alone is out of the ordinary. It is one of the “Teikai experiences” that students from other schools who visit the school for a game are overwhelmed and become speechless.
There are four gymnasiums. The volleyball, basketball, and dance clubs each have their own gymnasiums, and there is also a general gymnasium.
The three-story arena is used by the judo club on the first floor, the wrestling club on the second floor, and the kendo club on the third floor.
In addition, there is a training facility, a swimming pool, and an athletic club cafeteria where you can drink all the protein you want. …… Damn, I’m getting tired of explaining it all to you. Anyway, that’s all the facilities that are available. I hope you understand that the effort they put into the school is impressive. Of course, I should add that the cultural department and the examination system are similar.
Now—-
The number of students at Teikai Academy High School is approximately 1,200.
There are 10 classes per grade.
The ratio of special students is approximately 5 to 10 students per class.
Out of the 1,200 students, about 150 students, or a little more than 10%, are enrolled as “special students” of some sort.
These students are the reigning leaders of the school. The teachers and staff are very supportive of them, and the school’s curriculum itself was designed with them at the center.
The remaining 90% of the students are sneaking around the school, looking for the good graces of the special students.
Well, that is not so much of a problem as long as the students are “well-behaved”. Don’t go against the strong, don’t get caught up in the long game, and just live peacefully.
Most of the students were optimistic about this——-.
One day in June.
All the students were gathered in the auditorium under a cloudy sky, as if the rainy season was about to begin. It was the school assembly held once a month on the first Monday of the month.
Standing on the stage was an elderly gentleman in a suit.
He is handsome, with his gray hair all back. He is what is called “romance gray. His white moustache exudes dignity, and he casts a sharp look down on all the students. His eyes are like a hawk’s, looking for its prey.
This man is Taizo Takayashiki, the don of the Teikai Group.
He is the grandfather of Rua Takayashiki.
“This world is not —- equal.”
He said this in a stern voice.
It was his usual speech.
Whenever the old man makes a speech, he always starts with this line.
“The powerful are rewarded and the powerless are not. It is a matter of course. The weak are strong and the strong are weak. The winner is always the one who wins. These are “truths” that are forbidden to be said in this society. I do not want you to be losers. For the sake of Japan, I will nurture winners. That is my mission. That is the mission of this school. That is what I believe.”
Indeed.
I nodded in my heart.
A school that nurtures winners. I agree. Because your granddaughter is one. She nurtures arrogance on a daily basis. That thing of yours was never going to lose in the first place, was it? She’s still enjoying herself, forgetting that she lost to a new voice actress whom she had underestimated as a lowly talent. If she only remembers her victory, she is a winner.
“I’m going to hand out ‘special student badges’ to make all the students more aware of their status as special students and to encourage them to be even more enthusiastic.”
The air in the quiet auditorium was shaken by the emperor’s “oracle.”
The students around us did not react in any significant way. They were all like, “Hmmm.” No one makes a fuss over a badge. Most of them seemed to think it would be a little cool if he wore it in school.
But—-
(I have a bad feeling about this)
It was just a gut feeling, but my sensor was on the edge of its seat.
There has always been a “gap” between special students and the rest of the students, so to say that nothing has changed might be an understatement. However, something was bothering me. It’s frustrating that I can’t put it into concrete words, but …….
The Director’s story continues.
“For a detailed explanation, I’ll let Rua Takayashiki, the student council officer who came up with the idea, make the announcement.”
The pig’s name was called.
Buhhin buhihin, she came up to the podium in high spirits. Seeing her confident face, my concern was further accelerated.
Why did this guy come out as a representative of the student council?
What happened to the third-year student council president—–
The director handed the microphone to the pig. His sharp eyes, which had been like a hawk’s, changed to a soft one. It’s true what they say about the director of the board of trustees, who is said to be an ogre, that he becomes a Buddha in front of his granddaughter. As a former childhood friend, I know the old man is a granddaughter fool.
Holding up the pinky finger of the hand holding the microphone, the pig began to squeal.
“Cohon. This is Rua Takayashiki, a member of the student council. As Grandpa, not Grandpa, but as the director told you, special students will be given a gold badge in the shape of the school emblem. Please be sure to wear that badge when you are on campus. By doing so, you will feel more pride and responsibility as a special student, and you will work harder, right? That’s what I think!”
As one would expect from a voice actress idol. The voice is beautiful and clear, and the talk (whether appropriate for the occasion or not) is witty. The students around me were all listening in rapt attention. If it weren’t for the teachers and staff, they might have at least called out ” Princess Rua!” After all, even though she was so ugly at the event last month, her popularity seems to have not waned.
“We’ll also be handing out silver badges to the students. The meaning of this silver badge is: ‘Good luck so that you can become a gold!’ Here at Teikai Academy, we have a system that allows students to become special students even in the middle of the school year. Please do your best in academics, club activities, and extracurricular activities so as not to lose out to the special students!”
There were signs of nodding from the others. It seemed that they were convinced by the pig’s words. Maybe some of them were thinking, “I’m going to take this opportunity to become a special student”.
At first glance, there seems to be nothing wrong with that.
However ……
As I thought, it’s not good.
This is bad
“Lastly, I would like to make a request from the student council, not from me. Please be respectful to the special students who wear the gold badge. They are important human talents who contribute to this school. Please give them priority and respect throughout the school.”
–Of course no [forcing] them, okay?
Adding that last part, the pig handed the microphone back to the chancellor.
As she sashayed off the podium, she looked at me. One of the boys next to me said, “Uwa, my eyes met Rua-chan’s!” He was so happy. I, of course, had no expression on my face. Seeing me like that, the pig lifted the corner of her lips meaningfully and then winked at me with a “Bacchan☆”. Eh? What was that? Stop it. My eyes are rotting.
“P-Princess Rua winked at me. ……”
As the boy next to me stumbles and falls to his knees, I feel sick.
I’m going to throw up.
After this meeting, I think I’ll go to the infirmary. ……
After the assembly was over, the students started to leave the auditorium.
I left the 1st grade line and went to the infirmary, refusing to go to the bald homeroom teacher. He didn’t say anything. I guess he wasn’t interested in me.
Most of the students were still in the auditorium, so it was quiet inside the school building.
The only sound was the sound of my inner shoes tapping on the floor. It was a calming sound. My bad mood has subsided a little.
I knock lightly and open the door to the infirmary.
And then…
“Kyaa”
I was greeted with a small scream and an exciting sight.
Black.
Black, underwear.
Black lace encasing her rocket-like bre*sts, which jutted out with great force. Intricate embroidery. A butterfly pattern emerges in the sunlight streaming in through the curtains. Black butterflies dance on her pure white skin. Such an unrealistic scene appeared in a room that smelled of disinfectant.
There was a woman changing clothes.
No, it was a “girl.”
She was not a health teacher, although her underwear and the contents of her underwear were out of high school. She is wearing a uniform. She was wearing a skirt and tights. It seems that I ran into her just as she was about to put on her blouse.
She hid her enchanting breasts with her crossed arms and shot me, the intruder, a sharp look.
“Turn around,”
Her voice was firm. She didn’t seem shocked that I had seen her change her clothes. But the end of her words trembled just a little. There was a hint of weakness in her gaze. It was obvious that she was trying to be strong.
“I’m sorry.”
I apologized and turned my back to her. Listening to the sound of her clothes rustling, I wondered if I should leave now. But that would mean running away. Wouldn’t that cause problems later? That was probably one of the reasons she didn’t tell me to leave.
While I was wondering, the sound of the rubbing stopped.
“I’m done. Turn around.”
She orders me, neatly dressed in her blazer.
The color of her ribbons indicates that she is a third-year student, but I know her to start with. I mean, there is no one in this school who doesn’t know her. She is probably the most famous person in the school, next to that pig.
She is a half-Northern European returnee with long silver hair and blue eyes.
She entered the school with the top score in the entrance examination and continues to be at the top of her class.
She is also successful in the business field, having started her own business while still in high school.
She is also the current student body president of Teikai Academy.
Suzuka Kocho.
She is one of the leading geniuses of this school.
“Expelled.”
In a tone as cool as her name, President Kocho said.
“You are expelled, don’t think you can get away with just looking at my skin.”
“……”
Oi oi
Instead being in the danger of the badge system, I’m in danger of losing my school registration—-
