It was a pity that a certain someone refused to let her off the hook. He pulled her head towards him, making her look directly at that arrogant face of his. “With the so-called practical experience you said you had, you don’t even dare to look at this?”
“R… rubbish!” It was obvious that she wasn’t confident.
Chu Huaijin sneered, before tapping on her head. “I’ll give you thirty seconds. If you still can’t dress me properly, I’ll strip you naked and make you stand at the entrance,” he ordered.
That was too much of a threat!
With a swish, Yan Yiren quickly fastened up the zipper and the buttons, before clapping her hands and standing up. “Done!”
Chu Huaijin gazed deeply into her eyes. He might have called her stupid, but she definitely wasn’t an idiot.
He could call her spineless, but when she got mad, she had dared to fight back.
He could call her gutsy, hehe, then she would immediately refuse submissively.
After much scrutiny, Chu Huaijin finally came to a conclusion about her. She was just a little quick-witted, that was all.
When compared to a brainless woman with huge breasts, she could be considered quite good.
…
A sumptuous breakfast had already been laid out on the dining table.
Yan Yiren had got up at five-thirty and hadn’t yet had anything to eat. She was salivating just by smelling the fragrance wafting through the air.
The dishes were porcelain and decorated with gold. Was this person involved in the oil industry or something?
She could sense the affluent aura that he radiated.
Chu Huaijin enjoyed his scrumptious breakfast, while Yan Yiren could only drool pitifully at the table full of food.
Thinking about her current circumstances, she realized that pride was no longer something of utmost importance.
She decided to just do it. “Young Master, can I have some?”
“What would you like?” Chu Huaijin set down his utensils. All of his attention was now on her.
Yan Yiren had to admit that she felt herself blushing as he focused all of his attention on her.
It was just a biological reaction. However, her inner voice warned her of the truth: this man is scum! A red flag was raised in her mind.
Outright scum!
“I’m fine with anything.”
Chu Huaijin nodded, making Yan Yiren wild with joy. “Thank you, Young…” she began.
“However…”
Just like that, her words of thanks got stuck in her throat. Recently, Yan Yiren had been suffering from slight convulsions. “However what?”
“Let me take a look at your pole dancing.”
What?
Pole dancing?!
Yan Yiren craned her neck to glare at him. “Young Master, are you joking?”
Pole dancing?
What a joke!
Why would she do that?!
Supporting his chin with one hand, Chu Huaijin nodded seriously. “That’s such a shame.”
Yan Yiren was secretly furious. Such a pity my foot!
She knew that he wasn’t a good person. He definitely wouldn’t let her have breakfast so easily.
…
“Little maid, come here.”
With the lawnmower in hand, Yan Yiren mowed the lawn. Not far away, Chu Huaijin lay on his side in a white hammock in the shaded area underneath the trees. With his head in his hand, he gestured her over.
“What?” Yan Yiren asked begrudgingly.
She had been tortured for the entire afternoon and hadn’t even had a glass of water. Now, she was feeling bad-tempered, and her stomach was protesting in hunger. She was now extremely cranky.
There was a red apple in Chu Huaijin’s hand. Toying with it, he asked, “Do you want to eat it?”
Growl!
Yan Yiren swallowed thickly, unconsciously taking two steps forward.
Chu Huaijin clutched the red apple in his palm, his eyes looking at her teasingly. “Do you want to eat it?” he repeated.
“Yes!”
Yan Yiren quickly put the lawnmower aside and rushed over. She snatched the apple out of his hand and took a big bite of it.
It was impossible to fill up an empty stomach with just an apple. Yan Yiren sighed. She had already gnawed on the apple till only the core remained.
“Is it tasty?”
Yan Yiren nodded.
Chu Huaijin smiled wickedly. “Now that I’ve given you a reward, I’ll be looking forward to your performance later.”
