What?
Yan Yiren was dumbfounded. “You’ll be looking forward to my what?”
Chu Huaijin just smiled without saying a word. He snapped his fingers, and a slithering sound could be heard.
Yan Yiren turned around, her breath caught in her throat.
A golden python appeared, flicking its tongue as it slithered along the ground. It was extremely quick and reached Yan Yiren in the blink of an eye.
The creature coiled around her ankle, making Yan Yiren turn pale in fear as she stood rooted to the ground. “Young… Young Master… Help!”
“It’s my pet. You’ll be responsible for bringing it out in the afternoons.”
Pet?
Who would be perverted enough to keep a python as a pet?!
The python coiled around her calf, grabbing on tightly. Yan Yiren burst into tears. “I beg you… Please take it away…”
Chu Huaijin sat up slowly. “So you’re afraid of snakes.”
“Yes, I’m scared… I’m scared to death… Please take it away, I beg you…”
“Ah D, come here.”
The python emerged from underneath Yan Yiren’s skirt, its tongue flickering. It looked over at Chu Huaijin before releasing Yan Yiren and slithering over to him.
Yan Yiren’s legs turned weak, and she collapsed to the ground. She felt a wave of nausea hit her, and she almost vomited up the apple she had eaten earlier.
The python draped itself around Chu Huaijin’s shoulders. With a hand supporting its head, he got down from the hammock, kicking her with the tip of his foot. “That’s all you’ve got?”
It was just a snake, and she had been so scared that her legs had turned weak.
Yan Yiren scrambled away, lifting her legs into her air as she kicked repeatedly. “Don’t bring it over! Take it away, hurry, take it away…”
“Ah D’s so cute, yet you shun him.” Chu Huaijin caressed its head, softly chuckling. “He’ll get mad.”
“I beg you, Young Master, please stop toying with me.” Yan Yiren was scared of snakes. The mere sight of them would make her feel shivers all over.
Chu Huaijin pursed his lips. Tsk, how boring!
…
In the afternoon, Chu Huaijin went for a swim, while Yan Yiren stood at the side of the pool with a towel and robe in hand.
Two rows of servants walked in. There were twelve people at least. They courteously formed two rows, and they all held their heads bowed, showing their respect for the man.
Yan Yiren was curious. Who on earth was he?
His residence almost covered the entire mountain.
That crazed woman, the girl named Weiwei…
Everything was a mystery.
Chu Huaijin broke the surface of the water, splashing water onto her. Yan Yiren broke out of her stupor and took a few steps back.
She caught sight of Chu Huaijin who was now leaning against the side of the pool. “I’m calling you, little maid. What are you daydreaming about?”
Yan Yiren lowered her gaze angrily. “Nothing.”
What was she supposed to say? I was thinking who on earth you could be and when you might be willing to let me go?
This man was very moody and bad-tempered!
She had only stepped on his Phoebe and that had led to a great deal of torture. Was this really something a normal human would do?!
Up until now, she still had no clue whether the Phoebe she had stepped on was tall or short or fat or slim.
Scooping up a handful of water, he splashed it onto her. “Dumbass!”
Yan Yiren’s entire head was drenched. Reaching out to wipe off the water on her face, she begrudgingly asked, “Who are you calling a dumbass?”
Chu Huaijin gave a low laugh. “Didn’t you answer?”
“You…”
“Do you know how to hula dance? Dance for me.”
“I don’t know how to!”
Chu Huaijin pointed to one of the maids and delivered his orders gruffly. “You, bring Ah D over.”
“Yes, Young Master.” The maid turned and took her leave.
Yan Yiren immediately sprinted over and tightly grabbed hold of the maid. Turning around, she gazed at the man’s arrogant expression. He was clearly excited about what was in store. “I’ll dance! Alright, I’ll dance for you!” she growled.
