@@I looked up at the clock and it was exactly 11:45 pm, the office was empty. Like every time I was the last person, I sighed. “Having insomnia isn’t helping me, relieve any stress,” then my stomach growled. I smiled an embarrassing smile, even though there was no one besides me at the office.
Just then, I stepped outside and ran to the convenience store to get some food, it wasn’t far, there is a convenience store in almost every block in South Korea. I was halfway back when I felt something land on my face. I looked at my watch it was exactly 12:00 o’clock, and it had started raining. I started running back, just then I bumped into someone and fell on the floor.
“I am so sorry,” he said, “It’s okay I was the one who bumped into you anyways.” He reached out his arm and I held it and got up. “A-are you hurt?” he asked, “No I am okay,” I said. Just when I was about to see his face, my phone rang and I answered it “H-hello?” I said, “Hey are you still at the office?” said my step-brother. “No I am on my way home, I am hanging up,” I said and hung up. I looked up and he was holding the umbrella for me and then he, told me “You should take this.” Then he left. I felt myself blushing, his voice was so calm and deep if only I saw what he looked like. But all I could do was stare as he ran into the rain, and never turned back, and for the first time on a cold day I felt warmth.
