The Star In The Midnight Rain - Chapter 6 Echo
Without thinking much, my body worked on its own and parked in front of the columbarium park.
I guess my destination will always be, where I can come and remember my parents.
I got out of my car, and no matter how many times I come here, it always seems like the prettiest place.
I went in and asked him if he could open up my parent’s columbarium, he nodded and opened it for me, and said “You can call me when your done,” I nodded.
I could smell the strong sent, of the sage, and as I looked around I saw all the pretty flowers, people had put to please their loved ones.
I came here every day after work, with flowers but today I had something better than flowers.
I put the necklace inside and said, “I hope you’re happy up there.”
As I left, I saw them again.
The lady and Ji-Wook.
I bowed, and as I was leaving, the lady stopped me.
“I have something to tell you,” she said, I answered by saying, “Please go on, I mean what will you say, I visited your parents and accidentally stabbed them?”
She looked at me and said, “I didn’t, but I know who did this.”
She was smirking.
But I saw through what she was going to do, and said “Save it,” and walked away.
As I walked toward my car and opened my car door, Ji-Wook pulled my arm.
“You couldn’t stay two more minutes just to listen to, what she had to say?” He said
“You are, hurting my arm,” I said.
“I thought you were different, but you’re all the same,” I said,
“You were the only one, who wasn’t disgusted by the scare on my, face,” I said while holding back tears.
He let go of my hand.
I turned around.
Then back hugged me.
“Who are you to them?” I asked.
“No, one special, she’s my step-mother, I am just a pawn in their eyes.” He said.
“If that’s the case, then don’t listen to them, and do what you want it’s not like they will care,” I said.
Then he let go.
