The Strongest Uchiha - Volume 1 Chapter 21 Preparation For A Rank Mission

After everyone finished eating their ramen Itsu offered to walk Ino and Hinata home while Naruto offered to walk Sakura home, both boys had their requests accepted with large smiles. As Itsu walked with Hinata and Sakura he listened to them talk about their lives and how they were doing in the academy. “The academy is so boring without you there Itsu-kun” Ino said while clinging to his right arm, she never missed an opportunity to talk about her dissatisfaction with the fact that Itsu has graduated early and left her and Hinata with nothing to look forward to in the academy.

“I’m happy you miss me so much in the academy Ino but I would like to remind you that you go to the academy for ninja training and not hanging out with me” Itsu said with a smile on his face making Ino pout and mumble something about how she only looked forward to the academy because Itsu was there, this brought a small blush to Itsu’s cheeks but he suppressed it and turned to Hinata. “So how have things been going for you Hinata”

Hinata looked at Itsu and smiled “It’s going very well Itsu-kun, thanks to your advice I have become more confident around my family and my clan since you told me to fight for those I love and to defend those I hold dear instead of fighting just because I’m the heir to the hyuga clan, I have come close to beating my father in our spars multiple times and because of that the clan elders no longer call me weak and unfit to be the next head of the clan, my father has also started to smile more to me and has stopped acting cold and uncaring, it’s all thanks to you Itsu-kun”

Itsu smiles hearing how Hinata’s home situation has improved, again thanks to his influence he had managed to give Hinata a greater motivation to train and become stronger, this has resulted in Hinata being stronger and more respected by her clan elders than in the original anime. She is seen as a proper heir the hyuga clan instead of a disgrace.

After Itsu dropped both Hinata and Ino of at their homes Itsu made his way to the hokage tower since he was told he would be given his first official mission today. After arriving in the hokages office he looks at the hokage to see him sitting at his desk and reading through different letters and mission requests. The hokage knowing Itsu arrived looked up from his desk to see him standing their patiently waiting for his mission.

The hokage put down his stack of paperwork and took out a singular sheet of paper and handed it to Itsu, “Your first official mission for the village will be to eliminate a group of missing nin that have recently gotten close to the residence of the fire Daimyo living residence, we don’t know their intentions according to our intel their should be a handful of ninja that are around the rank of jounin in that group so they are dangerous nonetheless, this mission is an A rank mission and close to S rank, do you accept the mission?”

Itsu nods, for a first mission it’s pretty dangerous, well it would be dangerous for the average team of jounin but Itsu has been given cheats by god so he isn’t really the average shinobi. “Good, I will give you the rest of the day to prepare the you will need to leave first thing tomorrow morning” Itsu just nodded to show he understood and teleported home, he arrived in his room and he started to pack all his explosive fangs, shurikan and flying raijin kunai into his pouch. He checked to make sure all his weapons are ready to be used, once he was satisfied with his preparation Itsu decided to go on a walk around the village since he had nothing else to do, as Itsu walked around he saw many villagers and children going about his day, many children played with each other and many parents were talking to each other while watching their children run around. Itsu has a smile on his face as he saw the children play ninja with toy kunai and shurikan, not made of sharp metal but made with plastic or at least something that looked and felt like plastic.

It was an interesting way that the village used subtle tactics to push children down the path of becoming shinobi, they provided the children stories of legendary figures like the first hokage or the three sannin and how they saved the day with their incredible jutsus and feats of strength and power, they even provided children with toy weapons so they could get a feel on how to hold them properly from an early age. Nearly everything children are taught and shown at an early age pushes them down the path to becoming ninja.

They make shinobi out to be heroes that stop the bad guy and save the day, they get the girl and everything goes their way, when in fact shinobi are just killers, but Itsu doesn’t mind, he knew what he was getting himself into by becoming a shinobi but he didn’t regret it one bit, after waking around for a while Itsu decided to go home and just relax for the rest of the day and save energy for his mission.
