- Chapter 27:The Sword of Carnage
Li Qiang sat on the throne.
He was currently in the conference room in the centre of the palace within the Beijing Camp. After seizing control, he immediately called for a meeting with all the strongest Knights. His seat, which originally was for Li An, was elevated over the rest of the seat at the long table, looking down on them.
The room was silent, as the numerous Knights waited for Li Qiang to say something. Little did they know, Li Qiang was actually analysing their abilities.
Qi Ru
Strength: 29.2
Speed: 27.5
Inner Qi: N/A
Anima: Level 9 The Brain of Socrates (56%)
Anima Skills: Telekinesis, Mesmerism (3/4), Hyper-Thought, Comprehension
Qi Ru’s Anima was very interesting to Li Qiang and it explained how he was able to persuade the crowd of Knights to abandon their group and join his and the drop of a hat. It looked like his Anima concentrated on mental abilities, which explained his poor strength and speed. Qi Ru had likely used his skill, Mesmerism, earlier when talking to the crowd of Knights.
Yang Xiaobo
Strength: 88.8
Speed: 50.0
Inner Qi: N/A
Anima: Level 10 Brawler
Anima Skills: Hardened Body (Passive), Heavy Blow, Berserk
Yang Xiaobo’s Anima was quite ordinary and was just a simple Brawler Anima. What was impressive was his strength and speed, showing that he most likely had great affinity with his Anima.
Peng Jianguo
Strength 47.6
Speed: 40.4
Inner Qi: N/A
Anima: Level 8 Commander
Anima Skills: Govern (Passive), Leadership (Passive), Battle-Cry, Tactician (Passive)
Zhou Fang
Strength: 38.0
Speed: 35.9
Inner Qi: N/A
Anima: Level 8 Metal Head
Anima Skills: Harden (Passive), Metal Bend (Passive), Metal Create
Peng Jianguo and Zhou Fang were both important to the Beijing Camp. Peng Jianguo was essentially the governor of the camp and controlled the food storages, workers, constructions, etc. On the other hand Zhou Fang was the Head of the Elemental Building Group. These were those who had awakened Anima’s to do with control Metals, Stone and other natural resources. Their fighting abilities were limited, so they concentrated on building and construction. Li Qiang scanned through the information of these 4 quickly, ignoring the rest. The silence in the room had devolved to an awkward feeling at this point.
Finally, Li Qiang began talking.
“I want North China. Peng Jianguo send messengers to every camp announcing the establishment of the Sword of Carnage. If anyone has any problems, kill and replace them.”
Peng Jianguo nodded, expecting this.
“Zhou Fang. I want to expand the camp. I don’t want apartments; I want houses for every family and person in Beijing. Build an entertainment sector, with restuarants, cinemas, etc. I don’t care about how many resources you want, just do it. Qi Ru draw up plans and designs for the camp, as well as grid lines for the moving platforms in the camp. Transport must be free and easy to access.”
Zhou Fang was a straight-forward individual, so he interjected immediately.
“Sir Qian-”
Li Qiang interrupted him, unsatisfied with ‘sir’.
“Call me king.”
Zhou Fang blinked and then continued.
“King Qiang, this would be very inconvenient for the residents, we would have to knock down the apartments and then replace them with smaller houses. We would also have to expand the walls, which would be hard to do.”
Li Qiang waved his hand.
“You have the support of the entire camp’s personnel. As for the citizens, as long as you let them know that they will each be receiving a free house, then they will be happy to vacate their apartments.”
Zhou Fang nodded.
“Qi Ru, along with the plans for construction, I want new plans for a governmental system. Tomorrow morning, I want them on my table.”
“King Qiang, I would need at least 3 days for such a huge task. The construction plans aren’t hard, but the governmental system is extremely complicated.”
Li Qiang stared at Qi Ru.
“Qi Ru, with your Hyper-Thought and Comprehension this should be easy. If they are on my table, tomorrow, then I will instate you officially as the 2nd in command and I will reward you.”
Qi Ru eye’s widened, shocked that Li Qiang knew of his abilities. Then he gulped and nodded.
“Peng Jianguo, each camp in North China will reinstate their educational system. However, Martial Arts will be added to the curriculum. There will be a ranking for the Martial Art’s students in each school and the top 5 in each school will have their Anima awakened straight out of high school. I also want Knight universities to be created.”
Peng Jianguo replied.
“King Qiang, this would be a long-term project, there’s no way we can do this on a short-term scale.”
Li Qiang now stared at Peng Jianguo.
Peng Jianguo sighed and nodded.
“Also, everyone above the age of 18 is to be put to work, whether it is farming, education, construction or the like. Everyone. If you accomplish that in 3 weeks, I will appoint you the Commander of the Beijing Camp.”
Peng Jianguo agreed.
“Finally, Yang Xiaobo.”
The man’s head perked up, having had to listen to LI Qiang’s conversation for some time.
“You are to round up every Knight with fighting abilities and form the Carnage Squadron. There will be 5 levels to the Carnage Squadron, which will be represented by metals. For instance, the lowest squadron could be Copper then Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Yang Xiaobo, I will appoint you as the Captain of the Platinum Squad.”
Li Qiang’s finally finished his long series of order, pausing and licking his lips.
We will begin from now. The Sword of Carnage will be the strongest group in the world.”
