The Supreme Anime System - Chapter 25
“Begin!” said the special Jonin Ibiki.
All the participants began immediately began with the test.
Most of the Genin present were average and thus didn’t know the answers for the questions, but there are also Genin like Naruko and Sakura. These Genin had studied enough to pass without cheating and were also smart to begin with.
Naruko was a very smart girl, even more than Sakura who was known for being smart in the series.
Naruto was also much smarter than one would think but he wasn’t smart enough to answer these questions. He could at most answer a few that itself was amazing.
Because he had Lunis as his sensei, he was much more sly and knew he had to cheat if he wanted to pass the exam.
Sasuke was pretty much relaxed, because he could copy the answers from the answer sheet the Chunin had with just his Sharingan. It was very funny sight because there was no one that seemed to notice his red glowing eyes….
The first 45 minutes were to answer all the 10 questions, while the remaining 15 minutes were used for something else. In the last 15 minutes there was a question of resolution. If these Genin had a strong will they wouldn’t falter, but if not than they weren’t fit to be a Chunin.
After a whole 45 minutes Ibiki the proctor of the exam exclaimed loudly,
Most of the Genin had a confident look in their face, while a few had a nervous look. The confident one’s were the Genin that had cheated or were smart, while the other were the one’s to stupid to realize the real meaning of this test.
After the sheets were all handed over to the front, Ibiki asked every Genin present with a resolute gaze.
“Now it’s time for the last question…” Ibiki said all his words with an extremely serious face.
“If you don’t want to answer this question, your entire team will fail! If you nevertheless decide to stay, you must answer the question correctly or you will be banned from the Chunin Exams…FOREVER!”
All the resolute looks of the Genin slowly turned into disbelieve and many were dumbfounded. Even the most resolute ones were wavering over the decision. Naruto had never even considered leaving, so he and his team were one of the few which didn’t waver even one bit.
…
Meanwhile in the Hokage office building…
Lunis, Kurenai and Asuma were chatting over the possiblities that their teams will succeed or fail. Kurenai was happily saying that her team would succeed and safely pass the exam. Asuma on the other hand was a little bit afraid, because his team was in grave danger… Shikamaru was lazy as hell, while Choji only cared for potato chips and other snacks. The only one ‘normal’ was Ino.
“Haha, Asuma you really should hope that Shikamaru won’t fall asleep!” Lunis happily mocked his fellow Jonin, while Kurenai tried to console him. Kurenai and Asuma weren’t as friendly together and definitely weren’t considering each other as potential love interests, much to Lunis’ surprise. Nonetheless they were on friendly terms.
Even then he knew that under his strict self lay a kind soul and Lunis didn’t just say that because he saw him in the anime but also because his soul is really kind.
He had gained the ability to see souls long ago and could also differentiate them.
….
The Genin who couldn’t take it anymore already left and Ibiki announced that if they don’t have the resolve to do everything to succeed in a mission they weren’t fit to be a Shinobi and so on.
The first part was over and all the Genin that stayed had passed. Now it was time for the second part of the Exam.
Second Stage
Proctored by Anko Mitarashi, the second stage takes place in the Forest of Death. Three-man teams are given either a Heaven Scroll or an Earth Scroll before entering the forest. They then have five days for the entire team to reach the building in the center of the forest with one of each scroll in their possession; how they acquire the other scroll is up to them, by force or by trade being the most common options. Because of the natural hazards of the forest, the absence of services or outside ȧssistance, and the likely conflict with other teams, genin must sign liability waivers before entering to release Konoha from responsibility for any injuries or deaths.
If a team loses their starting scroll they are not automatically disqualified, as they may use the remaining time to acquire another copy of the scroll they’ve lost. By the same extension, acquiring both scrolls does not guarantee completion of the second stage, as they still must reach the center building in time. As the second stage goes on, teams that have lost their scroll will tend to gather around the building, hoping to prey on on those with both. Alternately, teams that already have both scrolls can linger outside the building, taking scrolls from others to reduce the competition of later stages.
Genin are forbidden from opening either scroll until they have reached the central building. If they follow this instruction, the scroll will summon a higher-ranked ninja to grant them advancement to the next stage. If they do not follow this instruction, the ninja will render them and everyone else in the area unconscious for the duration of the second stage.
She flew trough the window and announced that she was the Jonin responsible for the second stage of the Exam.
Lunis’ team beamed with confidence, they wanted to pass no matter the cost.
Little did they know that a little hateful snake has set it’s eyes on Sasuke…
The walked near the entrance of the forest and each team got a scroll, be it the Heaven or the Earth scroll.
“BEGIN!!!” screamed Anko with her loud voice after she finished explaining and handing out the scrolls for the teams.
After the start every team dashed into another direction within the forest. Sasuke’s team walked straight and slowly after many hours did they discover a team.
It was the team from Otogakure!
In other words Orochimaru was already here. He was disguised as a normal Genin. Lunis also hid inside the shadow’s long ago and waited for Orochimaru to attack. He wanted to finish this snake off, but it even if the snake was defeated….
It should be shown to everyone, right?
