The Supreme Of Milky Way - Chapter 12
“Finally, I make the breakthrough.”
Lu Feng woke up with surging power in his body. He wasn’t much thrilled, for he knew that was not enough, far from enough.
For his old self, Lu Feng would be overwhelmed with excitement and thrills. After all, it was a dream come true. He finally took the step to become a true fighter. A junior warrior was he now; a daydreamer was he no more. But right now, he was not happy at all after the humiliating insults of so-called siblings. Lu Feng knew it perfectly clear that even if he was a junior warrior now, there was still a long way to go for him when compared with the members of the so-called family.
It was typical of a Kung Fu master to exercise the protection power. Not to mention other abilities of a Kung Fu master, his physical strength could rank over a thousand-star level. But he was a one-star at best. They were just thousands and tens of thousands times better.
Lu Feng did not feel even the slightest excitement.
However, he was not too much depressed. His eyes were sparkling. He knew that whether he would remain inferior to them or not, only time would tell.
The flesh with a certain cultivation lit a sparkle in Lu Feng’s eyes, a sparkle his resoluteness to dominate the world.
“There gotta be some day, when I reach the zenith and overlook the view under my foot. That day won’t be too far away.”
“It’s beyond me to make the breakthrough like that. Same for them, I’m afraid. Their insults happen to be the golden opportunity and motivation for me to break it through.”
The cultivation of the Incarnation of Demon revealed the need to temper the body with the power of nature and to strengthen the inner power in whatever sufferings. It was only in this way that one could make the breakthrough truly and swiftly.
The bad injury triggered the extreme environment. And his refined original body contributed a large part to his becoming a junior warrior. The breakthrough did make sense.
Reaching out his arms, Lu Feng looked at the unchanged fists. There was a trace of light in his eyes.
He stood up from the sofa, returned to his room, opened the bedside drawer and took out a small device.
Lu Feng adroitly put the device onto his body. There was a sound “Ding”, followed by silence and then by an image of the device.
At this point, Lu Feng felt relieved and put on a smile.
“1 star.”
“I did make it to be a junior warrior.”
It became a junior warrior to break through the one-star level and an intermediate warrior to break through the ten-star level.
Lu Feng turned over the device and fixated on the fist prints. He took a deep breath and then released a punch swiftly and fiercely.
“Hah!”
He used all his power and hit right in the middle of numerous fist prints. Then there came the sound.
“Attack Power”
“4 stars.”
4 stars?
Was it 4 stars?
It was 4 stars.
Lu Feng was so amazed and rapturous that he yelled with overwhelming joys.
After a long while of insanity, Lu Feng got himself calmed down. But he was still wearing raptures in the face.
4 stars. His strength ranked one-star level but his attack power reached 4-star level. In another word, his punch was four times his strength. Such a progress was a thing never heard of by Lu Feng, ever.
His mouth was wide open still. The figure of 4 on the device really stirred Lu Feng’s mind.
“It’s 4 stars. But I did not exert any martial formulas. Plain as the punch was, it should reach the four-star level. That’s a threefold progress. It’s amazing.”
“With the moves I’ve summarized in the past years, my full-strength blow may see a progress tenfold. Wait. Does that mean my punch can bring down a warrior who just made it to the intermediate level and has no martial formulas?”
Over the years, Lu Feng had given shape to his own path of Kung Fu based on the observations and comprehensions. Still, his martial formulas were no better than low-level ones. Even so, they were terrifying enough. Lu Feng had a feeling that his self-developed moves and martial formulas could see a twofold or over threefold progress.
It was definitely an astounding fact in the League of Alliance that a man without any gift or even learning, almost created his own martial formulas on the basis of observations, even if those could not be counted as low-level ones.
“When and if I possess one or two genuine intermediate martial formulas and have a thorough command, I will be able to confront or even defeat an intermediate warrior at the middle level. But of course, that’s gonna happen on condition that those intermediate warriors have not practiced any intermediate or elementary martial formulas. Otherwise, I’d wish I can tap into hundredfold strength.”
With an intermediate martial formula, Lu Feng would be able to make a tenfold progress as a junior warrior and thus released the power equal to an intermediate warrior. When multiplied by the fourfold enhancement in the body, his power could be increased by forty times. That was forty stars, so to speak.
Regarding an intermediate warrior, the upper cap for an elementary level was 30 stars. While an intermediate level could range from 31 to 60 stars, an advanced level from 61 to 90 stars and an ultimate level from 91 to 99 stars. Nonetheless, if they should practice the intermediate martial formulas, Lu Feng would lose the edge. Because when they did so, though tenfold increase of power was not possible to enter the next level, they would upgrade their power to a larger extent. It was believed that the tenfold increase of power was possible with the help of an a.s.s-kicking martial formula.
It was intimidating all the same. One might find martial formulas easily but he could not realize the potential as he wished.
Feeling the surging power withing his body, Lu Feng put on a satisfactory smile. He murmured to himself, “I may consider myself an able man now. With my comprehension ability, it’s not a problem to get the hang of the martial formulas at the same level. And by then, the fivefold increase plus the fourfold enhancement of body makes 20 times.”
“Even I might be able to hit a twenty-star level in my full-strength blow with a martial formula.”
The comprehension of the martial formula for the same level could warrant a 20-fold increase. It really was intimidating as far as the entire federation was concerned.
Lu Feng raised his head to check the digital clock hanging above. His eyes squinted and looked surprised. He said to himself with somewhat bitterness, “Well, I did not expect the breakthrough took me more than a whole day. It looks like stories were not false that the cultivation of a Kung Fu learner costs a few months or even a few years.”
It was after Lu Feng got injured yesterday morning that he made the breakthrough. Now it was afternoon of the following day. The time spent amounted to nearly thirty five hours.
“Rumble.”
A dull sound drifted from Lu Feng’s stomach when he was mind-absent. That was a little bit fretful.
“I was intending to practice and become a junior mage at one fling. But I guess I’ll fill my tummy first.”
“How I envy those Kung Fu masters. Legend has it that a Kung Fu master needs no supply unless in the Endless Starry Sky. I just wonder when I can be a Kung Fu master.”
Having placed the testing instrument, Lu Feng stretched his body and then walked directly to the kitchen.
Maybe the breakthrough had cost too much energy, what Lu Feng consumed was almost three times he did normally. He stared at the little remaining food in the refrigerator and gave a long sigh, “This can wait until I broke through the threshold of the junior mage. The enrollment of Federal University is just one day away. I should have a fair treatment to be admitted into Federal University as a junior mage.”
Lu Feng knew it clearly that a junior mage was even more superior to a warrior in the Federation. If he desired to step up his practice of the Scripture of Originality and Incarnation of Demon, money would be a necessity. Perhaps he born into a rich family with a solid a.s.set worth of hundreds of millions. However, money would only be helpful for low levels. Once he became an advanced mage or warrior, he would be blowing tens of millions at one attempt. It would be unpractical to rely on his parents.
So he had to make enough money with his own efforts. And becoming a mage could pave the best shortcut.
If he became a mage, he would be subsidized by the federation each month. The government grant amounted to a hundred thousand for a junior mage each month and eight hundred thousand for an intermediate mage. For an advanced mage, if he joined in a guild, the incomes of each month would total to no less than five million. It was a stunning figure, undoubtedly. And it was roughly the same with the income of Lu Feng’s parents.
If he was able to become a Grand Mage and join army or certain big consortium, money would be his last concern. Because whatever his needs were would be met.
All these accounted for Lu Feng’s decision to walk into Federal University a mage.
After cleaning up the remains of the meal on the dining table, Lu Feng left and walked back to the room.
This time, he would accomplish his vow to be a genuine junior mage in one effort.
