The Tale Of Kitsuna - Chapter 138
Chapter 138
“Oh hell no, how are there three of you!” Kayda shouted, not sounding very happy. I looked at all of us curiously, seeing that we only had one tail, including me.
“Ah, we can actually be 4. But yeah, that one died there in front of you.” The clone to my left is explained, shrugging.
“F-four. You can make 4 of yourself?”
“Yeah, why?” I asked, confused at her statement
“Kitsuna, I will warn you right now if one of your clones does anything date related. You are dead. You hear me.” Kayda said, making me shiver in fear.
“Yes, yes, we understand.” I and all my clones said in unison like a choir.
“Good, now we can continue,” Kayda said, nodding.
“Ah, right,” I said, starting to run at her with my clones.
…..
“So what now?” One of the clones said, looking unsure.
“You guys can go,” I said, throwing out two chains toward the clones.
“Ugh fuck sakes, what a waste of mana.” The clone said, turning into an ice axe.
“I must agree with that one.” The other one said before changing into a Warhammer.
“Shut it,” I yelled, tugging at the chained Warhammer and Ax.
“I must agree with them, kitsu. Making clones takes a lot of mana.” Kayda said, looking at the two weapons.
“Yeah yeah, I know that, but I can’t control them properly,” I said, pulling the two weapons towards me.
‘It feels like my mind got split up into 4. Scratch that, the mind does split into 4.’ I thought trying to heal my headache.
“Ah, I see,” Kayda said, jumping away and dodging the axe and Warhammer.
Bang!
“I really hate it when you try and fight in the air,” I said, annoyed seeing kayda starting to fly again.
“Haha, I won’t be the last.”
“No shit.” Crouching down, I jumped towards her swinging the axe on the chain at her while spinning the Warhammer in the air, ready to attack.
“Oh damn,” Kayda said, moving backwards to dodge the axe.
“Hup.” Throwing out the hammer, I hit the back of the axes handle, making it go further and hitting kayda.
“Damn, nice move,” Kayda said, looking at the axe with a smile and seeing the tip melt slightly before being pulled back.
“Tsk, you are using that now,” I said, annoyed, pulling back both weapons back while landing back on the ground.
“You didn’t say I couldn’t,” Kayda said, shrugging.
“True, I did want you to use that,” I said, throwing the chained weapons on the ground after fixing them.
“Oh really?” Kayda said, smirking before realizing what I had just made in my hand.
Bang!
“Ow, that hurts kitsu,” Kayda said, looking at her grazed wing.
“Yeah, then dodge it,” I said, holding a hand cannon in my one hand, excluding a lot of black lightning.
“Tsk.”
“Haha, now dance, you flying lizard,” I said, laughing, making another hand cannon and open firing at her.
“Shit, since when!” Kayda yelled, moving around in the air, trying her best to dodge all the bullets.
“Class baby, Rawr,” I said, jumping at her without stopping my firing, hiding my embarrassment at my slip up.
“Haha, it came out again.” Katie laughed from the side.
Dong!
“Shut up, tomato girl!” I yelled after throwing a grenade against the barrier.
“Uh uh uh uh.” Scared after the sound, Katie shook her head, pale as paper.
“Great-”
“Kitsu hasn’t your mother ever taught you never to take your eyes off your opponent,” Kayda said, standing right behind me.
“Oh, Kayda, oh Kayda, you do know my mother, right?” I said, looking at her over my shoulder with a smirk.
“Huh, yes?”
“Yeah, she would attack me in the middle of the night if she feels like it,” I said, smirking at her over my shoulder.
“She would!?” Kayda yelled surprised
“Yeah~, and it seems you need that training as well,” I said with a wider smirk.
“Uh oh, not again!” Kayda yelled, feeling my tail tightening around her ankle.
Boom!
“Every time, kayda, when will you-ugh learn,” I said mockingly, only to be sent flying.
“Shut up already. Are you not already warmed up,” Kayda said, annoyed, getting up.
“Ugh, I guess I am. Man, you really chose the wrong spot to hit me.” I said, rubbing my left breast.
“Oh, sorry, I didn’t look where I hit you,” Kayda said, not sounding very sorry at all.
“Right, you will never hit your girlfriend’s boob on purpose,” I said, sighing while still rubbing my sore breast.
“Yes, of course, I won’t,” Kayda said sarcastically.
“Whatever.” Sighing again, I flash stepped towards kayda at full speed. Appeared in front of her with a scythe centimetres away from her abdomen.
Not surprised at my actions, she brings her left hand down towards me, coating her hand with mana.
Ducking down, I rolled to the right, taking the scythe away from Kayda. Getting back to my feet, I spun the scythe towards Kayda’s head.
“Tsk,” clicking her tongue, she created a small scorch barrier, creating an explosion.
Boom!
“Ah fuck sake, my pants!” I yelled, standing a few meters away from the barrier without arms and half of my right leg gone.
“Wait, isn’t that a bit going too far!?” Katie yelled, surprised, only to almost pass out seeing them grow back in seconds.
“Pfft, don’t pee yourself,” I commented, seeing Katie’s reaction while waiting for the smoke to clear around Kayda again.
Bang!
Vrrrr!
Boom!
A gunshot went off the moment the smoke cleared, tearing through Kaydas’s barrier with a small explosion.
“What!?” This time, An was surprised by the turn of the events.
“Hmm?” Kayda was also a bit surprised but for a different reason.
“Damn, it worked?”
“Your clones!?” Kayda yelped, looking to her left and seeing one of my clones throwing the chain axe and Warhammer at her, jumping backwards, dodging the two weapons.
“Too fast,” I said, disappointed that she realized quite quickly.
Lifting my one hand with three fingers up.
Bang!
“Ugh!” Grunting in pain as she was shot in one of her legs.
“Now!” The clone with the chain weapons yelled just when I flashed and stepped behind with a bigger and weird bulky gun aimed at her.
Bang!
Fired off multiple bullets in one go towards her barrier.
Glancing at them, she reinforced her barrier, fixing the hole the sniper made previously, making the bullets from behind just bounce off her barrier.
“Wait, it bounced!?” Kayda said, surprised just to see all of them creating mini-explosions, pushing her forwards into the chained Warhammer.
Boom!
…..
“all that, and you still haven’t hit the ground seriously,” I said, disheartened seeing the Warhammer stopping centimetres away from Kaydas’ hand.
“Haa, haa, that was actually really close,” Kayda said with one hand in front of the Warhammer with visible air in between them and her other hand holding a spearhead behind her back coming out of the ground.
“It really feels like you are trying to kill my kitsu,” Kayda said, breaking the spear and pushing the Warhammer back to my clone.
“Ugh, dammit.” The clone said, not able to stop the Warhammer in time, effectively killing my clone.
Bang.
Bang.
With another two sniper shots going off, kayda quickly made a scorching ball in the way, one to see one bullet destroying it and another one destroying her barrier again. Sadly that was all that came out of the snipers’ direction as the clone’s mana signature disappeared.
“your clone only had 4 shots?” Kayda said, feeling the signature go away.
“Yeah, but they are only clones after all,” I said right next to her with a scythe at her side.
“That thing is deadly.” Kayda yelped, sending a scorch spell to destroy the scythe.
Bang!
Bang!
Not giving her any time, I got out two hand cannons firing at her again.
Boom!
“Fucking hell,” Kayda yelled, jumping out of the smoke her scorch ball and my bullets’ collision made.
“Where are you going,” I said from the smoke, making my tails go after her.
“Well, away from this raging tails of yours,” Kayda said, flying away.
“Nope, you aren’t getting away,” I said, jumping from behind her confusing her.
“When?”
“Now, why would I tell you?” I said with a smirk, trying to stab her with a katana.
Drip.
“Tsk, you up the temperature,” I said, annoyed, throwing away the bladeless katana.
“With you right now, of course,” Kayda said while making space between us again.
“No,” I said, making a small ice platform under me. I jumped at her again, sending my tails to attack her from behind.
