The Tale of the Void Emperor - Chapter 790: Wrong words
“First, let’s start the battle between Athan and Rolaxin,” Raizor said with a smile as he sat on a throne while floating in the air.
Beside him, the two arbiter powerhouses, Komin, Lienia, and Cromwer, were also seated.
In front of them was a large floating platform, and on top of it, Athan, Rolaxin, Avelia, and Cornella were standing.
Hearing Raizor’s words, Cornella and Avelia left the platform and simply floated in the air outside of the platform.
“The battle will start once this coin drops on the platform,” Raizor took out a thumb-sized silver coin and spoke.
“Wait,” Athan suddenly spoke.
“Hmm?” Raizor and others looked at him, “Any questions?”
Athan faintly smiled and spoke, “there’s really no need for me to battle because he will lose even if I don’t move from my position or even any of my fingers.”
“Arrogant!” Akin, the middle-aged man Arbiter plane powerhouse, spoke with a grim expression, “control your words, Athan. You can not disrespect someone like that and get away scot-free. Both of you are in the same plane, and Raizor can invoke 47,400 symbols.”
Athan devilishly grinned and spoke, “I am not being arrogant. I am simply stating the truth, and you will see that being a fact shortly. If you don’t believe it, then how about we bet?”
“Hahaha, interesting. Battles without bets are indeed less interesting,” Raizor said with a laugh, “you shall bet.”
“Lord Raizor…”
“What do you want to bet?” Akin asked with a snort.
“Tons of resources! I want resources worth 20 Labyrinth cores,” Athan said with a smile, “naturally, I have to get this level of reward because my side of winning condition is hard.”
“Sounds fair,” Raizor nodded with a grin as he looked at Athan, “so you win only if you defeat Rolaxin without moving from your position or even moving your fingers.”
“Humph, fine,” Akin said as he looked at Athan, “I’ll accept this bet.”
Afterward, Raizor looked at Rolaxin and spoke with a smile, “what do you want if you win? State your bet.”
Rolaxin looked at Athan menacingly before glancing at Avelia and speaking as his lips curled upward, “I will sleep with your woman if I win.”
Hearing that, both Arbiter plane’s faces changed as they looked at Raizor.
However, Raizor maintained his smile, but no one noticed a dark glint flashing in his eyes. He then looked at Athan.
Everyone felt a raging aura oozing out of Athan due to the pure rage he was feeling after hearing Rolaxin’s words. But this rage was silent and cold.
The smile from Athan’s face was gone as he looked at Rolaxin with a cold expression. His eyes were utterly icy as the cold rage oozed out of him, “If anyone interferes in our fight, I will kill them.”
He turned to look at Akin and uttered icily, “you too,”
Akin wanted to speak, but he didn’t and held himself back while side-glancing at Raizor, ‘that bastard spoke one thing that he shouldn’t have spoken.’
“No one shall interfere,” Raizor spoke. His tone changed slightly, but it was really subtle.
After saying that, he tossed the coin towards the platform, and after four seconds, it touched the platform with a clinking sound.
“DIEEEEEEE!” Rolaxin roared as a giant golden rhino figure appeared behind him, and he was entirely covered in golden rhino-shaped armor as he dashed towards Athan in his giant ten meters tall form.
“Extremely high overall defense,” Cromwer muttered wryly, “he used his best profound technique right from the start. Each touch of his in that form is filled with explosive power.”
However, everyone’s face changed in the next second except for Avelia, Komin, Lienia, and Cromwer.
Even Raizor was startled.
“BLOODY BASTARD!”
“HOW DARE YOU!”
“DIE, MOFO!”
All voidlings came out and released their attacks at once, with angry expressions as they could feel that this bastard had made their Master Athan angry.
Rolaxin was wiped out of existence in a second as various colorful powers lingered on the platform in the place where he died.
“Hahaha, well done, well done. So you were hiding that kind of power,” Raizor said with a laugh, “marvelous!”
The voidlings returned to the void region while Athan nodded plainly.
Raizor grinned and spoke, “I would have killed him myself for the words he uttered, but it was better that you did it.”
Afterward, he turned to Akin to his left side, who was sweating, “it looks like you don’t really manage your people well. Who was he to you?”
“H-he…he was my nephew,” Akin spoke while sweating.
Shaking his head, Raizor spoke coldly, “one can ask for anything, wealth, power, anything. But…one shouldn’t ask for another man’s woman.”
“I…I’m aware, but…,” Akin said as he slightly trembled, “please forgive me.”
He never expected his nephew to ask something like that in the bet. He knew that his fate was sealed the moment he spoke that.
Lord Raizor has a harem, and he loves them dearly; if anyone disrespects his wives or sees someone do that, he never tolerates it.
Raizor had even killed two Fear-level existences because they spoke something similar to Rolaxin.
That fight was intense, and everyone saw for the first time how rageful Raizor could be at that time and his power. Not just him but his wives also joined in the fight. Without caring about injuries or anything, they utterly shredded the two mighty powerhouses.
Apparently, one of the Raizor’s wife had a mystical Outrious power about the bonding that connects everyone together and increase their potential strength depending on their emotions and situation.
Raizor had a harem of seven women, and three of them were fear-level.
“Alright, let’s start the next battle,” Raizor said.
Avelia and Cornella entered the platform while Athan left the platform and floated beside Komin and others’ chairs.
“How lucky that you got someone like Athan,” Cornella said with a smile.
“Indeed, I am,” Avelia said with a beaming smile.
