The Third Party - Chapter 96
3rd Person’s POV (12 yrs., 9 months)
Allen found out that cleaning such a place and location -even though he knows how to use flying magic- was an arduous task, requiring both his strength and magic.
The simple task of gathering the trash, unfastening the ropes, and even cleaning the dirt were a lot harder than he expected, it’s like someone deliberately made everything tight, or sticky so that the knots and the dirt won’t come off.
Allen could only narrow his eyes at his situation. Of course, that brat did something to this place, but he can’t find a trace of a magical enchantment on the place, hmm…
His eyes narrowed once again, this time summoning more magic into his eyes with different purposes. Surely enough his eyes narrowed in on the slowly fluctuating objects.
‘That brat.” He added another enchantment on his eyes and voila, the area was littered with magic, unnatural of its origins, since normal or the planet’s magic can be easily detected by Allen, especially them as magic beast being naturally in-tuned with the world’s magic.
Lucky for him, the magic placed on the things before him were easy to remove, just not that easy to spot. ‘Seriously, why does he want me to be gone for this long.’ Looking at the trail of ma-
Did that kid really made a long trail of enchantments? Seeing as he’s presented with more enchanted trash all the way to the left, and with his enhanced eyesight, a waterfall came into view.
‘What now?’ he could only ever comply with the task. ‘This better be easily done or I’ll be late for class.’ He grumbled while de-enchanting and picking up the trash.
Meanwhile, Ken had gathered up their group and had presented to them the plan he has for Allen’s birthday, and had given them specific tasks he wants done before the day of their friend’s birthday.
Thinking about it just makes him excited, but not so with the others. Seriously, since when is this person ever going to be normal, it’s like the plan presented before them was designed to keep them occupied even in their weekends.
What is going on with this guy’s head?
“Okay, now that the plan is set, I’ll erase all of this evidence here and store them to a tablet, you may check the information written here if you think you missed something.” the written words and indications on the plan he wrote on a black board was then transferred to tablet.
It was just a regular rectangular slim shaped rock, he picked this kind of option so that their plan would not be found out, and it wouldn’t be obvious for others to think that the information would be stored on such a thing.
Papers are available, but Ken thinks this is just as great as well, and there was no need for any of them to reveal the information stored within as anyone who would access the tablet, the information would go directly to their brain.
The tablet’s information can be added and edited as well, pretty convenient.
“Memory Magic: Shared Moment.” nine foggy white balls appeared beside Ken, and quickly approached each of his friends. “These memory orbs will tell you where the tablet will be located at if you ever want to find them, I’ve casted an enchantment on it that whenever Allen is nearby, it’ll teleport to a different location, do not worry, the orbs also have a secondary effect that will lead you to wherever it is if you wish to find it.”
The group nodded at Ken’s explanation and willingly absorbed the memory orbs.
“Okay, now that we’re done, we shall now start our class.” clapping his hands cheerfully, the group immediately dispersed for their leader to cover up their tracks, involving the chairs and black board he conjured to disperse.
‘Allen should be done by now, I hope he’s not that pissed off when I enchanted so many things.’ He chuckled playfully, a little bit embarrassed at his actions, but chose to let go of such thoughts since they were all done, no need for him to ponder over it so much.
He happily walked towards the field, quickly noticing how big it is from this point of view, stopping in his tracks he stared, but shrugged once again and skipped along, loving the morning breeze.
Their masters were a bit preoccupied as well because all-throughout waiting for the others, he needed to slow down the arrival time of the Masters so he could commence the plan without them knowing.
He’ll inform the Masters next, as it’s another step of his plan.
Right on time, the Masters… simultaneously arrived? Huh, he didn’t expect that, no matter, Ken tapped Saber’s shoulder as an indication for him to lead the morning exercise, to which the other complied.
That stoic face revealing himself to their group quickly reorganized them, as they do not really want to mess with anything or litter up and about especially with that cold indifferent gaze looking straight at them.
Morning exercises commenced and an hour after they started Allen arrived.
Bringing with him all the trash he had collected, it wasn’t really much. The culprit received them sheepishly and disposed of them using conversion, converting the trash from before to energy for the surroundings.
Allen’s scrutinizing gaze at Ken never wavered all throughout the process of the other casually converting the trash.
Trying to figure out for himself whatever kind of plan or surprise this person made after his departure, but the other just acted normal, even though he was being obvious with his stare.
‘Knowing him, he’ll crack up days later.’ Allen assured himself, as even talking to the guy would only give him a smile and a ‘no’.
At lunch Riyah noticed that her brother joined them briefly for the meal, and seemed hurried the moment he finished, but not so obvious that everyone noticed, except for Riyah of course.
A few minutes to the meal she excused herself and sought out to find her brother, it’s unusual for him to suddenly change attitudes especially during a meal. If Ken ever finds out about this she’s sure that her brother will get a little bit of nagging.
But a nagging nonetheless.
She arrived at the center of town, but perks up an eyebrow, her brother’s trail goes out of town. Why?
Exiting town, the trail led to the nearby forest, going further, and further she found herself finding birds, magical birds perked up on trees, but not as advanced as they are, out front she saw a clearing.
Upon arriving she stared in marvel at the colorful birds before her, and a massive one as the center.
But there’s something amiss here. The bird’s flying pattern, seems aggressive.
‘No, they are aggressive.’ The answered showed itself to her by an explosion at her left. Turning to the direction she stared wide eyed at her brother, batted and bruised.
“Icarus?!” the other turned to the voice that called him, eyes wide eyed in recognition, but before he could call his sister out, another voice resounded.
“Well, well, if it isn’t the red head’s sister.” followed by a series of laughter from… a group of well tailored clothing teenagers? No, she knows these people, the ones she despised back at her home.
How were they able to come here?! The question propelling itself head first into her brain. While the other person which could be called the leader of the group, with a fair amount of handsomeness to his face, smiled mockingly at the two.
He threw a fireball to Icarus sending the other flying backwards. Riyah worriedly dashed towards her brother, unsuccessfully catching him, she could only sit beside him.
“Are you okay?” she asked.
“Yeah.” replied the other, sitting up straight no problem, but Riyah doesn’t believe him otherwise, at least there were no wounds she could find. The two stared at Icarus’ assailants or bullies angrily.
Seven people ganging up on one person? Even though she could feel that she and her brother improved quite exponentially, but being in this situation is still too much even for her hard-headed brother.
‘What to do?’
At a nearby village near the mountains of no return, the people call it as such since anyone who enters the said mountain do not return, whatsoever, a person with white blonde hair, and tattered clothing entered an inn, hoping to have a meal.
The person’s incredible features would not be unnoticeable to the few people around but because the person’s face was mostly covered by dirt, they could only sigh in loss at the person’s gorgeous hair.
“Such a magnificent hair, a pity it was given to a burglar.” and many more opinions came to the other person’s way. The color of his well tailored clothing had faded out, included with all the other tears and mud patches littered all around, the person did look pitiful.
But the person in discussion was unaffected as he called for a waiter to order for his food. The people stared even more pitifully and obviously at the person.
Curse that coach from earlier splashing mud unto him, why couldn’t walking peacefully ever be peaceful with those kinds of people around, he’s surprised that someone of noble origins would visit those roads he’d taken, although what’s in store for them would be nothing but grass and beasts.
As thus the person with white hair’s thoughts scurried along in their mind. The need to find somewhere to bath was to be prioritized, after he’s had his fill, will he find a place to rest.
It may still be noon but there’s no guarantee for him that he’ll find a vehicle that goes to the capitol for him to hitch a ride on, any types of trips would have been done in the morning, as it is quite a ride to go to the capitol of Ithel.
