This actually came out of fear involuntarily, but that calmed the storm, as see the whirlwind and the appearance of the strange figure whirl up and varnish into thin air. The audience paralyzed in fear, as they have never seen such kind of occurrence, despite the natural catastrophes; this one came with the literal figure of strange being like a beast.
