The Typhoon’s Dangerous Wife - Chapter 359
By the time Zhenyi woke up, it was already the next day. With a wince, she opened her eyes and slowly lifted her body to sit on the bed. Looking at the interiors of the rooms she realized that they were not at their home. And suddenly, the memories of yesterday came flowing to her.
She also recalled how she stumbled on the staircase and fell down, worrying a certain man to the core. But as long as he was not angry at her, she was all fine.
Speaking of him, she wondered where he was. The room was empty and he was nowhere to be seen. The other side of the bed felt cold under her hand and so, with a sigh, she left the bed too and went to freshen up.
“Where is my husband?” Zhenyi asked a staff member when she came out of the room where she was staying. Even after visiting Tang palace so many times, she was still not used to the layout of the place.
“Young Master Jie wasn’t seen in the house since the morning. But the housekeeper said he left early in the morning,” The staff member politely replied to her.
Zhenyi scowled when she heard the staff member. He left without informing her. This wasn’t how he behaves. No matter how important the task would be, he would always inform her beforehand. Did he not know that she would worry about his whereabouts?
She got it that he was still mad at her but wasn’t it going overboard this time? Wasn’t it just a dance with that guy?
Okay, she admitted that she had been going overboard these days with her antics. She was infuriating at him in every possible way. But she had an honest reason behind all the drama that she had created.
“Did he inform anyone when he would be coming back or where he was going?” Zhenyi prevented herself from lashing out at the poor staff member. She didn’t want to be called a mad woman creating a scene because she was upset at her husband.
“No, he didn’t say anything. He just left without saying anything to anyone,” The staff member replies monotonously.
Zhenyi nodded. She entered her room and started looking for her phone. Once she found her phone, she asked her assistant to bring her clothes and other necessary things.
Without saying anything to anyone, Zhenyi too left for office. Even if she was worried by her husband’s unusual behavior, she didn’t let it show on her face. They would be married for a year this month and never in those days had he ever behaved so coldly with her. She knew that she was used to being pampered by him and it was the only reason why his sudden disappearance this morning was troubling her.
Alcina was right. She was too spoiled by all the men in her life that she didn’t know their right value.
“Gu Tian?” Zhenyi said as soon as the call got connected. If Gu Tian didn’t know where her husband was she was afraid no one else would know at all.
“Young Madam?” On the other hand, Gu Tian was dumbfounded to receive a call from the lady boss. He wasn’t scared of his boss but his wife kinda intimidated him whenever he met her. But now that he knew that Lord Tang and she were biological siblings, he had vowed to never complain about her unreasonable attitude to his boss. After all, his life was more important to him.
Now that the lady boss had called him, he wondered if it was related to his boss who had been behaving weirdly since last night.
He pondered if he should tell her about her husband or not.
“Gu Tuin, can you please tell me where my husband has gone too?” Zhenyi asked in a very calm voice. But Gu Tian as an expert in reading people could say that her calm voice was quivering. Her worry was apparent in her voice.” He left early in the morning without saying a word. I just want to know if he had an important meeting or something like that.”
Gu Tian heaved out a sigh. He was right. Master was indeed behaving strangely since yesterday. Even if he didn’t want to say all these things to her, he had to.
“Young Madam, I indeed received a call from the Master last night. He didn’t say anything but to clear his schedule for the next week as he was leaving for a substantial job,” Gu Tian informed her. “I tried asking to tag along but he straightly refused. He said he didn’t know how long he would take but he would be back as soon as possible.”
Zhenyi sighed as she leaned her head against the car window. After a while, she again asked, “Did he say anything else?”
She wanted to know if he said anything for her. But no he had not. It was as if he had forgotten about her.
“Young Madam, please don’t worry. Master will come back fine. It is not the first time he is leaving for missions like these without leaving any significant information behind,” Gu Tian said thoughtfully.
“Thank you, Gu Tian,” Zhenyi said. “If you receive a call from him, please inform me.” With this said, she hung up on the phone.
Gu Tian understood her plight. She might appear mean and wicked to everyone. She indeed loved her husband a lot. It was just that everyone loved differently. Her way of loving was selfish. She knew the place she had in Long Jie’s heart and that was the reason why she would often misuse it for her benefit.
Take the example of their recent trouble. Zhenyi was adamant about confronting Du Zheng now and Long Jie was against it. He was telling her to lay low for a few more days before taking any action. And this resulted in Zhenyi being rebellious to her husband.
To be honest, she wasn’t wrong at her place too. She was of the view that if the girl was really her long-lost sister, she couldn’t bear to see her in predicament. She wanted to free the girl from the monster named Du Zheng.
However, Long said that this was not a good time as they didn’t even know who the real enemy was or who they were fighting against. The other party wanted them to act impulsively while they were waiting for her to make one single mistake that could ruin her.

“Ah, you are back?” Zhenyi asked, surprised as she saw Fan Bingbing sitting on her usual chair. She had invited her friend slash assistant to Ryuu’s wedding but the latter wasn’t able to attend as her boyfriend was on tour and she was accompanying him.
“Why? Are you not happy to see your amazing friend back?” Fan Bingbing questioned her with an evil grin.
Zhenyi rolled her eyes. “I thought you would come back only after celebrating pre-honeymoon with your boyfriend.”
“Are you jealous, my dear?” Fan Bingbing raised her brow.
Ignoring her nonsense, Zhenyi asked, “So, how did you come too soon? Didn’t you say it will take some time?”
Fan Bingbing’s face fell. “Han had to come back to China sooner as his manager failed to negotiate with the endorsement deal they were about to sign or that was what he told me. We came back yesterday, he urged me to attend the wedding but I was suffering from Jetlag.”
“Ah, don’t worry. I don’t think Alcina will mind,” Zhenyi said with a smile. “Plus, if you had been there, you wouldn’t have found your first unrequited love drowning in the sea of alcohol.”
“Is he alright?” Fan Bingbing asked carefully. She still couldn’t forget the day when she had found Sam passed out in a club. She had never seen him so miserable and sad before. She has always known him to be arrogant and rude.
“Yeah, he is much better now,” replied Zhenyi.
…
“Do you have something to say to me?” Ryuu asked his wife once again. They were now enjoying breakfast in their own room. Since they just got married, they were going to take full benefit of their honeymoon period. Even if Alcina was not pregnant, she was sure that after their honeymoon, she would surely be as Raw sex and Ryuu goes hand in hand.
“Why do you think so?” Alcina asked him, averting her eyes off his face.
“Because you are looking at me with those big guilty eyes,” Ryuu immediately said. “If you have something to say, then say, Cia. Don’t hesitate. No matter how big the crisis is, I’m not planning on leaving the room for the next few days and neither are you.”
Alcina looked at him once again. The reason why she still hadn’t told him anything was that she didn’t want him to be tangled in her messes. The man had been doing stuff for her since the start and now that it was his time to relax for the first time in many years, she didn’t have the heart to break the little bubble he had created for her.
Plus, even if she told him what Long Jie had found. He wouldn’t be able to do anything. Now that the truth had come out, she had no intentions of hiding it. Worst comes to worst, she would let him confront her whenever he wanted or he was ready.
But she just hoped that Ryuu’s relationship with Long Jie and Zhenyi wouldn’t be implicated because of her.
“Ryuu, everything is alright.. Even if it is not, I believe it will be one day. Let’s not think about it again, okay?”
