Ruby and Nelly were quickly taken away.

Jimmy looked at Holly, the corners of his lips curling slightly as he said, “Congratulations, Mrs. Lincoln. You’ve made the most correct decision!”

A lowly Holly said, “Mr. Jimmy, please let Mr. Neal know that we, the Lincolns, have nothing to do with that wretched little girl of Heller’s!

Holly glanced at Howard and snapped, “Your dad is a good-for-nothing and so are you! Are you in any position to say that about your father? All the men in the Lincolns are all good-for-nothings! In the room, Ruby was hugging Nelly. Nelly whispered, “Mommy, Grandma doesn’t like Nelly, right? Why doesn’t she like me?”

Right after she said that, Holly pushed the door open and entered the room. She said coldly, “Stop dreaming! Ruby, I’d advise you to wake up! The Wilsons are one of the prestigious Seven Great Clans of L.A. It’s impossible that a good-for-nothing like Heller will ever be a match for the Wilsons!”

Nelly lifted her head and looked at Holly somewhat fearfully. She whispered, “Hello, Grandm—”

Before she could even finish,

Holly cut her off coldly. With a look of abject disgust, she said, “You little cheap trash! Don’t call me Grandma! I don’t have any granddaughter like you!”

Nelly, who was close to tears, shrank back into Ruby’s arms.

Ruby glared at Holly. “You’re scaring her! Holly, what exactly do you want?”

It had been five years.

Even though the Lincolns had never taken care of Ruby all this time, she had always silently borne with it and never said anything. But now, for Nelly’s sake, Ruby was straight-up calling Holly by her name instead!

Big teardrops slowly rolled down Nelly’s pretty face.

At this point, Ruby paused slightly before she went on and said, “I can marry Hugh Wilson, Holly, but I have a condition!”
