The Unsurpassed Maiden - Chapter 153
Se Heon continued thinking about the possible reasons why Mi Young would leave the academy without him knowing. He knew by heart that the black haired girl wouldn’t just leave the academy without any important reason. Mi Young doesn’t come from a rich family so Se Heon knows that she would do anything in her power just to keep being in this school.
“Argh! Kang Mi Youn you little sh*t! I can’t believe you’re making me think so hard right now.” Se Heon says to himself while grabbing his own hair in frustration.
Before, situations like this one wouldn’t even bother him. In fact, if this rumor happened without him knowing who Mi Young is he would have thought that the young girl is a foolish person for breaking one sacred rule. However, now that he knew the girl personally, it made him think of many possibilities as to why the young girl would leave the school. But despite thinking of many possible reasons, Se Heon couldn’t come up with one particular and solid reason why the black haired girl would do what she did.
Se Heon smudges his face on his hands. “Where are you, Mi Young?”
Mi Young rushes forward as she looks behind her to check her progress. She pats herself mentally for being able to outrun the battalion of giant beasts which were all going towards the city’s heart where all the people are. The black haired girl checks them again and sees them still marching forward, but then she immediately knew that it wouldn’t take them that long before they could reach the heart of Furotingu. So with a thumping heart, Mi Young runs back towards where she thinks Zhong Yu is.
“Do you think he’s fine seeing us again?” The blonde girl asks while eyeing the other party with worried eyes. “I mean, you two almost got into a fight earlier.”
“It’s fine. That’s why I’m here to say sorry for acting like that towards him earlier.” Jong In replies with a devastated sigh. “I didn’t even know what got into me and how I was able to stand up against him.”
Despite their current situation and problem, Shang Min manages to laugh at the other party’s words. “You’re right. You look so cool earlier while standing up against a Jeon.”
Upon hearing Shang Min’s words, Jong Un’s face immediately turned into a dark shade of red. He coughs awkwardly while rubbing the back of his nape. “I…I mean I was kind of angry as well so that’s why I got that much confidence.”
“Don’t worry, you look cool earlier.”
“T-Thank you—”
“What are you two doing here?” A sudden voice says behind them making the both of them jump up in surprise.
When the two students turned around they came face to face with a confused Ji Sung. The man cocks his head to the side and asks one more time, “Why are you two standing in front of Se Heon’s dorm like crazy fanatics?”
“We’re not his fanatics!” JongIn announced with a stern voice. Then, he realized who he was talking to and he immediately bows down to apologize, “I-I’m sorry, Senior. We’re here to apologize to Se Heon.”
“It’s fine.” Ji Sung says with a friendly smile. Then he moves his gaze back and forth between Shang Min and Jong In, “Why do you want to apologize to Se Heon by the way? Did you guys do something wrong?”
Before JongIn could even open his mouth, Shang Min beat him to it. “Se Heon and Jong In had a little misunderstanding earlier. Jong In got mad with how rude SeHeon was to the principal so Jong In grabbed him by the collar and demanded answers from him. Se Heon go mad as well and they started arguing about Mi Young.”
Jong In and Ji Sung blinked at Shang Min before the senior’s gaze fell on JongIn once more. This immediately made the man snapped out from his thoughts before he nodded his head at their senior. “Y-Yes! What she said was right. That was exactly what happened.”
“May I know why you two were arguing about Mi Young?” The senior asks while looking at JongIn with a rather calm expression. “Was it because she is going to get expelled from the academy?”
Jong In and Shang Min both nodded their heads at the same time. Then, Shang Min realized something. “Wait—what do you mean she’s going to get expelled? Wasn’t she expelled already?”
Ji Sung shakes his head while moving his gaze towards the younger student. “She was supposed to but I heard some of the heads took pity on her and they believed her talents would go to waste so they decided to look for Mi Young first and bring her to the academy’s court for a hearing so they can hear her side and let her explain. The outcome of the hearing will dictate whether she would get expelled or not.”
Shang Min and Jong In both looked at their seniors with big round eyes. Then, they turned their heads towards each other before they started jumping in glee. They feel like a huge weight was finally lifted off from their shoulders after hearing what their senior had just said.
“So it means Mi Young still has a chance to stay with us as long as she can prove herself not guilty?” Shang Min asks with an excited voice.
Ji Sung nodded his head at her. “That’s right.”
After hearing the confirmation coming out from their senior’s mouth, they started jumping in joy once more. They only stopped when the door to Se Heon’s room suddenly opened, revealing an annoyed looking young man.
“Can you f*cking stop letting out those annoying seal-like voices? It’s making my ears hurt.” Se Heon says while glaring at the two other students who looked at him with guilt-filled eyes. Then, Se Heion sees Ji Sung standing behind the two. “And you, what are you doing here?”
“Why, aren’t you just rude?” Ji Sung asks with a smile. “Anyway, I’m here to inform you that your beloved Mi Young isn’t going to get expelled from—”
“I know. I heard you guys talking.” Se Heon says while looking down at the floor.
Ji Sung blinks before saying, “Hm. That’s great news but why do you look sad?”
Se Heon must have felt annoyed with the three pairs of eyes burning holes through his skin so with an annoyed grunt he says, “Nothing. If you have nothing else to say you can go now.”
“Hey! I’m here to tell you not to drop out from school.” Ji Sung says.
“Where did you hear that I’m going to drop out?” Se Heon asks. Then, something clicks inside his mind. “Ah, the annoying principal told you?”
“She’s not annoying. Stop being rude towards her.” Ji Sung says with a warning voice.
“You’re only saying that cause she’s your girlfriend.” Se Heon fires back while looking at Ji Sung with a stoic expression.
Shang Min and Jong In whipped their heads towards Ji Sung’s directions to give him a questioning look. Upon seeing the expressions of the two other students, Ji Sung’s face started getting redder. He coughs awkwardly before saying, “S-She’s not my girlfriend.”
“I saw you eating together.”
“We’re just friends!” Ji Sung tries to defend himself.
However, Shang Min and Jong In decided to butt in. “I didn’t know you were the type of man who likes older girls, senior.”
Ji Sung’s face got even redder while hearing those words coming out from Shang Min’s mouth. “I told you she’s not my girlfriend!”
“Who is not your girlfriend?” Another voice says behind them. When they turned around to check who the newcomer was, they were surprised to see one of the most famous yet heard to approach teachers in the whole academy.
“Teacher Zhong Liu!” The four of them bow respectfully as their teacher approaches them.
Zhong Liu sends them a small smile before asking them once more, “Who’s dating who?”
“Senior Ji Sung is dati—”
“Teacher Zhong! What made you come all the way here?” Ji Sung managed to insert while he pulls JongIn away from the teacher and clasps his hand over the younger party’s mouth. He even let out an awkward laugh just to take away the teacher’s attention from Jong In.
Zhong Liu raises an eyebrow upon seeing him shut the other party’s mouth. But he didn’t dwell with them anymore as he proceeded to answer the senior’s question. “Well, I heard about the news so I went to check on Se Heon.”
“Me? What’s up with me?’
Zhong Liu looked at him from head to toe. Then, he grunts before saying. “Mi Young asked me to check on you after you learned the news.”
“You knew Mi Young?!” The four other students asked at the same time.
Zhong Liu looked taken aback by their sudden question but he nodded his head nonetheless. “Why wouldn’t I know my student?”
