The Unsurpassed Maiden - Chapter 154
“Mi Young is your student?” Ji Sung asks in bewilderment.
Jong In’s eyes were wide as saucers as he fired the teacher another question, “Mi Young? As in K-Kang Mi Young?”
When Zhong Liu looked at both of them then nodded his head afterwards, Jong In felt his knees buckle. Good thing Shang Min was there to catch him before he fell on the hard floor. “Jong In!”
“How did you know Mi Young by the way?” Ji Sung asks curiously. He was about to step forward to make way for the teacher when Se Heon suddenly steps in and without further ado, he grabs Zhong Liu by the collar making the other students’ eyes widen in disbelief.
“Se Heon!”
“What did you do to Mi Young?!” Se Heon asks angrily. He looked straight into the teacher’s eyes and never did he once blinked. “Tell me where she is.”
“Se Heon! Stop that!” Ji Sung says. He and Jong In ran towards the other man and tried to grab him away from the teacher but Se Heon only pushed them both away with force. “Se Heon!”
As if he couldn’t hear the others voices, Se Heon continued grabbing the teacher by the collar. “Tell me where she is right now or I swear you won’t like what I’m going to do to you.”
The other three students were looking at Se Heon in shock. Not a single one of them ever imagined the other party going against a powerful teacher like Zhong Liu so they couldn’t even say a single word.
However, despite Se Heon’s aggressive and rude behavior towards him, Zhong Liu remained calm and collected. “What makes you say that I know where the girl is?”
“I can smell her from you.” Se Heon says with a grunt.
This made Zhong Liu chuckle. “Such a good boy waiting for its master to come back, eh?”
The younger man’s grip on the teacher’s collar only tightened after he said those words. “Tell me now.”
“Se-Se Heon….” Shang Min tries to say because she can clearly see the grip of the younger party on the teacher’s collar.
“It’s fine.” Zhong Liu says while giving the other three students a calm look. “It’s normal for dogs to feel threatened by someone that smells like their master.”
“You f*cking idiot.” That was the last thing Se Heon says before he attacks the teacher with a spear made from earth on his back.
However, the teacher had already anticipated his move so he was also able to block it using his own Geo element. “Why don’t you stay calm first before I tell you where Kang Mi Young is.”
Immediately two Geo rings formed out of nowhere and attached themselves towards Se Heon’s body. This made the other party unable to move. Although he tried to free himself from the rings’ grip with his own Geo element, it was no use at all.
“Calm down first before I tell you.” Zhong Liu says while giving the younger student a sly smirk.
“Se Heon, listen to him. Please.” Ji Sung whispers towards the younger party while he looks back and forth between them.
Se Heon continued to thrash out from the rings’ hold but it was no use. “Let me go! I’ll f*cking kill you!”
“That’s not a very nice thing to say to a teacher and to someone who has your life on his hands though.” Zhong Liu says as he steps closer to flick the younger’s forehead. “I never imagined you have a really bad temper. Ning Gwang didn’t mention how bad your attitude is.”
“Let me go first and I’ll show you how bad I really am.” Se Heon says with a sneer.
Zhong Liu only sighs before moving away from the younger kid. He puts his hands on both of his pants pockets before eyeing the younger party again, “I’ll only tell you where the girl is if you stay calm.”
Then, the teacher started walking away from them, leaving the three students whose mouths were hanging open and a very angry Se Heon who was still very much pinned against the wall by the two rings surrounding his body. But before he could finally walk away from the dorm, Zhong Liu looked behind his shoulder before saying, “Find me and I’ll tell you where she is.”
After that, teacher Zhong Liu finally vanished away from the sight of the four students.
“Zhong Yu!”
Zhong Yu, who was currently using his flight ability to oversee what was happening over the town, looked down to see a very familiar figure coming towards him.
The man immediately descended to meet the black haired girl. “What are you doing here?”
Mi Young catches her breath first before replying to the man, “Beast…marching…town…people…”
“I may have spoken a lot of languages but it’s my first time hearing that language. What are you trying to say?”
Mi Young inhales deeply at first before he looks the man in the eye before saying, “Hundreds of beasts are marching towards this direction. If we don’t evacuate everyone now they will totally tear them apart.”
“Sh*t.” Zhong Yu whispers while he glances at the wild crowd around them. Adults, teenagers, and even children are running around trying to call for help. “With this many people…”
“I know. That’s why we need to evacuate them now before they can even reach the heart of the city.”
“But how do we evacuate this many people at the same time?” Zhong Yu asks with panicked eyes.
Mi Young contemplates at first before coming up with an idea. “Here’s what we need to do.”
“Are you sure he’s someone we can trust?” Ning Gwang asks once more.
“Ning Gwa—”
“You can fight me all you want but we need to save the kids first. After that, you can do anything to me.” The man replies while the three of them walk towards a certain place where the man said their allies were hiding.
“I don’t want anything to do with you so you can just walk away after this fight and vanish or die for all I care.” Ning Gwang answers, not even looking at the man for once.
“That’s good then.” The man says before he continued walking towards their said destination.
“We have been walking for hours.” Ning Gwang protests again.
“Then fly if you want to.” Shin Yu replies while rolling her eyes at the older woman.
Ning Gwang just gave her a soft glare after that but she remained silent for the rest of their journey.
When they reached the said ‘hidden spot’, Ning Gwang’s eyes widened upon seeing a very familiar face at the center of the room.
“No way.” The white haired woman says while eyeing the figure who was already smiling at her.
“How many hours do you think he will last?” Jong In whispers while they eyed Se Heon who was still pinned against the wall. “I’m starting to get hungry.”
“Then go east something.” Ji Sung says while glancing at Se Heon as well.
“I think it would be too rude to just you know…walk past him while he’s still pinned against the wall and can’t move much.” Jong In replies sheepishly. Then he added, “Plus, eating in front of him would also be too rude.”
“Then stop talking.” Se Heon says without looking at Jong In. “Go leave if you want to.”
“Did I hurt his feelings?” Jong In whispers towards Shang Min who just rolled her eyes at him.
“Se Heon, why don’t you just calm down so you can get out of there?” Ji Sung suggests while he gets up from the floor and slowly walks towards his cousin’s direction. “I mean, the teacher did nothing to you so can you just lower down your pride for once and listen?”
“He knows where Mi Young is. How the hell can I calm down after knowing that?” Se Heon fires at Ji Sung with a glare. “If you want nothing to do with me then leave.”
Ji Sung sighs before shaking his head, “Come on, Se Heon. Is it so hard to be calm?”
“He’s right Se Heon. You won’t get away from those rings if you don’t calm down.” Shang Min says as she finally stands up beside Jong In. The other man also went to walk towards where the other three Is when he realized he was the only one who was left sitting.
“I’m calm.” Se Heon says.
“You’re not.” Shang Min replies.
Se Heon looks at her with cold eyes. “I’m not even moving here so I’m pretty much calm.”
“Those rings do not tighten if you’re calm.” Shang Min says while pointing at the rings hugging the other party’s body.
Jong In cocks his head to the side before looking at Shang Mij with confused eyes. “What do you mean? I mean, have you seen these rings before?”
Shang Min nodded her head. “I have. These rings can feel your heart and your emotions.. Their tightness depends on your emotions so if you’re not calm, they tighten even more.”
