The Unusual At Trost Academy - Chapter 36 Pisces Naomi
I woke up to Scorpio pacing across the room. “Huh? Wha-” Jamie shrugged, “I’ve got no clue. She’s been doing this since 5. I’ve tried talking to her, but she just mumbles a little then keeps going.” I got out of my bed, “Well,” I stood in front of her, “Whatever the case,” She walked around me, “I’m gonna make her talk.” I grabbed the back of her shirt. “She’s coming.” Scorpio repeated, over, and over. “Snap out of it!” I slapped her, and she looked at me. “Who’s coming?”
“My sister.”
We sat at lunch. There had been some, changes, to the school. For most people, it’s fine, they aren’t in classes that are teaching about their race’s history and how to kill them. Akumura and I on the other hand, we hated it. Especially since we were the only vampires at the school, we were constantly used as examples. I’d be fine with the attention, negative or positive, if it weren’t for the situation. Bill and Akumura were talking about something, I wasn’t entirely sure what though. “So,” A voice suddenly started from behind me, “I’m guessing you’re the one Scorpio’s been telling me about.” I looked behind me and almost fell out of my chair.
The figure stood over me. She had pastel pink hair, around the same length as Scorpio’s and mine. She was wearing a school uniform, looking somewhere between American and Japanese. “Sorry,” she reached her hand out, “I guess I startled you.” I grabbed her hand. Something felt, off about it. I got up, and got a better look at her. Her facial structure was also pretty similar to Scorpio’s, with some differences. Unlike Scorpio, her eyes were almost black, and she had two of them. “Oh! I forgot,” She eyed me as well, “My name’s Pisces. I’m Scorpio’s sister.” She certainly sounded like Scorpio. She looked behind me and waved, like she was trying to get someone’s attention. “Well, look who’s early for once.” Scorpio started, “I’m guessing you already talked to Chasan?” Pisces nodded. “You never told me there were two angels here!” I sighed, “Yeah, the only race that doesn’t have two or more here are Demons.”
“Well of course! I’m surprised there’s even a Demon here, I mean, they got sealed away.” Bill looked over, “You talkin’ about me?” Scorpio waved her hand, “No, no, it’s fine.” Pisces leaned next to her, “Is that the Demon?” Scorpio slapped her on the arm, “Yes. He doesn’t really like people he doesn’t know talking about him, so keep it down.” Pisces nodded, “Got it.”
I fell on the couch. “God, can we go just one class without talking about how to kill me?” Akumura raised an empty plastic cup, “Amen.” Bill and Jamie looked at Pisces. “So,” Brit looked up from her book, “What are you doing here?” Pisces and Scorpio did a pose that looked it came straight out of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, “I’ve heard you’re gonna have a vampire problem,” Pisces started. “And she’s here to help,” Scorpio continued. “You’ll need as much assistance as possible,” Pisces added. “Wow,” Akumura stood up, “Riveting performance. I really like the part where you needlessly posed.” I punched him in the back of the head, leaving a small indent in his skull, “Don’t mind him. He’s just on edge. People are kinda against us being here right now.” Pisces nodded, “I can tell. If I were in the same situation as them, I probably would too.” Akumura rubbed his injury, “Yeah, well, doesn’t excuse them for me.”
“Well,” Bill stood up, “I’ve figured out how we can kill Alucard. I’ve got nothing for Dracula, but I’m guessing it’ll work on him too.” Brit closed her book, “I think I know where you’re going with this.”
“Oh, really? Then tell them what you think it is.”
“It’s pretty simple really, the exact reason that Humans haven’t killed them. Their bodies are different from other Vampires. Kind of like Satan, Lucifer, and my father. If you’re the original member of your race, then you have a different set of abilities. Theirs appears to be advanced regeneration. So, when Naomi ‘killed’ Alucard, she really just slowed him. So, Bill’s planning on using a simple Demonic ability, decomposition.”
“Can he even do that?” Scorpio asked. Bill nodded, “Akumura, toss me your cup.” Akumura threw the cup with enough force to break a wall, and Bill just caught it, “Watch and see.” In an instant, the cup started slowly disintegrating wherever it contacted his skin. Akumura looked at him, “You can bring it back, right?” He sighed, “Why? You have a huge ass pile of plastic cups next to your bed anyway.” Akumura lowered his head, “But I was gonna use that.” Pisces sighed, “Well, what am I gonna do then?”
“If my judgement is correct,” Jamie stood up, “Then there’s a good chance a majority of the Hoops are gonna be here. We’re gonna need as much help as we can taking care of them.” I nodded, “Yeah, a majority of them that I’ve seen ave show some kind of Vampiric ability. We’re gonna have to get as many people to help as we can, who won’t try to kill Akumura and I on first sight.”
I tried sleeping. But whenever I closed my eyes, I just saw Alucard. I didn’t know how he managed to survive. During our fight, he had the same regeneration as I did. How? I tried closing my eyes again. When I did, I actually started to sleep.
