THE UNWANTED WIFE - Chapter 20:Part 20
Sabrina walked out of Mahesa’s wardrobe room, she met the president’s wife and said goodbye to her.
“Mrs. Almira, I will say goodbye,” said Sabrina.
“Yes, Sabrina, be careful on the road,” said Mrs. Almira.
Sabrina immediately bent her body and rushed away from Almira’s presence, shortly afterward Emma came over to her future in-laws. Almira asked Emma to sit near her, Emma said yes and sat down quickly.
“Emma, what’s wrong? Have you met Sabrina?” asked Almira.
Emma smiled. “Yes mom, I’ve met Sabrina. She’s a good kid, smart and also nimble, ma’am.”
“You’re right Emma, and Sabrina can be like that because she is used to Mahesa.
“Mahesa’s education really made Sabrina a tough woman, ma’am. I’m proud of her, I have something to talk about” Emma said.
Almira put down the teacup that was in her hand. “What is about, Emma? Is there anything you want to add to your wedding list and Mahesa?” Almira asked softly, stroking Emma’s hand.
Emma smiled as she shook her head. “Not ma, not about that?”
Almira frowned. “Then about what? Just say Em”
Emma sighed. “Ma, you better cancel this wedding plan. Looks like I’m not a good candidate for a wife for Mahesa, the proof is that I’ve made a mistake by not paying attention to Mahesa’s clothes. That’s why Sabrina came to get clothes that fit her”
“But mom,” argued Emma.
“Emma, listen to mama. I’m sure you can do it, you really deserve to be Mahesa’s wife”
Emma surrendered and could not move anymore with the words of her future in-laws, sometimes it felt like she wanted to leave this family. If it’s not heartless, Emma doesn’t care about Mahesa’s parents. Because they both were very good with her, and Emma could not hurt their feelings both.
Emma took a deep breath. “Ma, well I’ll try it. I’m sorry, ma, if sometimes I feel tired and want to give up” Emma muttered softly.
Almira immediately stroked Emma’s hair gently. “Emma, that marriage brings together the shortcomings of every couple to be perfect. I’m sure you and Mahesa are able to go through all this, because you are a good child. You can definitely melt Mahesa’s heart”
Emma smiled, shedding tears. “Yes ma, thank you for being my amplifier. I don’t know what would happen if I didn’t have my mom beside me. Maybe I really have become a weak woman”
“Emma is a woman whose job is to encourage each other, because I’m sure you are a good candidate for a wife for your son. Shaka will definitely be proud there to see you happy with Mahesa,” muttered Almira.
Now Emma’s self-confidence has increased again after being given support from her mother. She seemed to have the strength to face Mahesa, who she thought was very annoying and could not be a good life partner for her.
“Mother, father, Shaka pray for me. Hopefully I can be a good wife for Mahesa, because after all it is very difficult to melt a stubborn man,” Emma muttered to herself.
