THE UNWANTED WIFE - Chapter 6:Part 6
Mahesa still doesn’t believe that he has to lose Shaka so quickly, even the news of Shaka’s passed away is make his stressful. Not only was he stressed because he had lost his brother, but he was also very frustrated when he found out that he had to marry Emma who was none other than Shaka’s lover.
Shortly thereafter, Mahesa’s two friends, Troy and Davian also came to mourn. They both provide support for Mahesa to stay strong in facing reality.
“Bro, you are patient. Maybe this is Shaka’s destiny, you have to be strong because now all the responsibilities of Anoko Corp are in your hands”. Davian said.
“Thanks bro”.
“Be patient, men, you have to be strong for the sake of your parents”. Exclaimed Troy, who immediately hugged Mahesa. “Last night Audrey, I handled it, after all, it was just a short night to wear her”. Whispered Troy in Mahesa’s ear.
Hearing this made Mahesa laugh a little. “Thank you, Troy. I think you can learn to understand women.”
“Yes, everyone teaches you”. Troy murmured.
“By the way, who’s that woman sitting in the corner over there? How come I’ve never seen her? Is she your cousin? How come you didn’t say that you have beautiful cousins like that?” Troy says.
Mahesa turned around and saw Emma, who was stunned, lamenting Shaka’s departure.
“Oh that, her name is Emma. She’s Shaka’s future wife.”
“Gosh, it’s really poor for her. Already going to get married, he just goes away forever”. Murmured Davian
Mahesa sighed as she shrugged his shoulders. “Let’s sit down, soon Shaka’s funeral ceremony will begin”.
Her two friends immediately looked for an empty chair, while Mahesa immediately sat next to Emma and it made Emma startled a little.
“Our business is not finished”. Whispered Mahesa.
Emma turned to Mahesa. “What do you want?”.
However, Mahesa did not answer Emma’s question, Shaka’s funeral was going well. Mahesa’s parents asked Emma to come home to them. Arriving at home, the father immediately conveyed the message given by Shaka.
“It feels like yesterday, Emma, we are sitting here with Shaka talking about your marriage. But now Shaka has even left us all”. Murmured the father.
“Has Emma been here before?” Mahesa asked confused.
The mother smiled. “Shaka and Emma have been in a relationship for one year, every Saturday Shaka always brings Emma here. Obviously you don’t know that your late brother already had a wife, because you are always busy with your friends on weekends”.
Mahesa sighed and then pressed his forehead, until finally he decided to go to the room. He had not yet had time to set foot, suddenly his father’s words forced him to stay.
“Mahesa, where are you going?”. Said the papa.
“I’m going to the room”.
“Sit down please Mahesa, papa has not finished talking”.
Mahesa was forced to sit back down. “What’s more daddy, I’m tired of going to rest”.
“We have to discuss Shaka’s will for both of you, I think you should both get married quickly so that Shaka can be calm there. It would be nice if your marriage is accelerated to next week”
“What !? Pah this really isn’t fair to me”.
“Mahesa, a will from a person who has been gone forever cannot be ignored. You want a lifetime haunted by your guilt towards Shaka for not wanting to do what Shaka asked for?”. Exclaimed the mother.
Mahesa sighed and glared at Emma, while Emma immediately lowered her head because she couldn’t bear to see Mahesa’s cold gaze.
“It’s all because of you, Emma”. Mahesa muttered and immediately left in front of them.
“Mahesa, where are you going? Mahesa”. Shouted the mother.
However, Mahesa ignored her mother’s words and just left driving her car. Meanwhile the mother tries to calm Emma down.
“Emma, be patient. Mahesa did not mean to say that, he was just in shock and could not accept Shaka’s departure.
“Em, listen to me. Shaka is a mama’s boy, he always obeys what mama and papa say. So mom and dad as parents are obliged to fulfill what Shaka wants, you don’t worry about Mahesa. He is a good boy, Mahesa also always obeys what we say. So, don’t worry, Em, you two will fall in love with each other as time goes by”
Emma was silent, unable to say a word, what is in her mind now why Shaka could leave her.
