THE UNWANTED WIFE - Chapter 8:Part 8
Emma is still pensive in the flower shop where she works, she still doesn’t believe that Shaka should leave her so shortly. Emma looked at the ring on her finger, she still remembered when Shaka confessed to him for the first time. This is the first time that Emma has used a diamond in her life, Let alone using it, she was not even seeing that substance before. Soon, Anna came over to her, bringing her a cup of hot tea.
“Emma, I’m not forcing you to work. You should rest and not be here. You drink the tea while it’s still warm” said
“Thank you, aunty. I’m okay if I’m in a house where I get sad and keep remembering Shaka”.
“You are patient, Emma. Maybe this is destiny of Shaka”.
“Yes, thank you. But there is a bigger problem”
“What is the problem?”. Asked Aunt Anna confused.
“Shaka gave a message to his brother to marry me, how can I marry without the slightest feeling of love”.
“Is it true?”.
“Maybe Shaka did that because he felt you were his responsibility. But after the wedding, aunt’s message is only one, you must be able to learn to love Mahesa. Auntie is sure Mahesa will also get used to it later if you complement each other together”.
“Yes, I hope”. Emma said softly.
“Alright, now you go home and rest. I give you a week off”.
“Well, why, aunty?”.
“I want you to calm down and not want to burden you with this work”. The aunt insisted.
Emma sighed. “Okay, thank you. Then I’ll say goodbye to go home first”. Said Emma who immediately grabbed her bag on the table.
“Poor Emma” murmured Anna softly.
At home, Emma immediately lay down on the sofa. He still did not expect to lose Shaka this quickly. Emma reached for her cellphone in her bag, then opened the photo folder which was decorated with selfies of herself with Shaka.
“I miss you, Shaka” she muttered softly and soon tears had fallen down his cheeks.
Her chest is so tight when she has to remember all her memories with Shaka, especially in the next month they will both get married. Emma was devastated by this incident if only time could be restarted she would not have allowed Shaka to get out of the car.
But the rice has become porridge and all that has already happened, she could not possibly repeat everything from the beginning. But what Emma regrets at this time is that she hasn’t had the chance to give the late Shaka her homemade gift.
Emma was fast asleep, too tired to cry. In her sleep, she dreamed of meeting someone familiar to her, namely Shaka, her future husband. Emma tried to approach Shaka who was standing on the shore, the roar of the big waves and the wind that was a little strong made Emma worried about Shaka’s presence.
“Shaka, Shaka, be careful the waves are huge” shouted Emma.
Shaka immediately turned his body when he heard Emma’s scream, Shaka smiled and waved his hand at Emma. Emma immediately approached Shaka, but the waves had already dragged Shaka and took him out to sea. Shaka shouted for help, while Emma quickened her steps while sobbing.
“Shaka, Shaka, Shaka survive” shouted Emma, sobbing, until finally Emma sat down and cried because Shaka’s body was no longer visible. Her tears broke and made Emma’s body weak.
Emma woke up from her sleep with a gasping breath, Emma immediately grabbed a glass of water on the table and downed her drink. After that, he tried to control his breath which was getting better.
“Why did I dream of Shaka” Emma muttered to herself.
