The Upgrade System - Chapter 48
“Ok buy the cultivation technique.”
{Please set a username for yourself}
“Just use ‘Sofia’ as the username.”
{Ok, the username has been set.}
A book appeared in front of her and the book in the store disappeared for her which shocked Sofia.
She asked a question, “How many people are in the system?”
{You don’t have access to that information}
“Ok, How do I get access to that information?”
{You don’t have access to that information}
“Ok, that wasn’t helpful.”
She continued to ask questions, “What currency does the system use?”
{UP points}
“UP points? How do you earn UP points?”
{You can trade 1 million USD for 1 UP points}
“What? A million USD for 1 point? What can you even buy in here?”
The system didn’t answer her so she just started to read the book and she found the book to be crazy.
‘How could someone be so powerful just after cultivation using this technique?’
‘Wait, Dan is powerful and even bullets can’t hurt him which isn’t possible for a normal person so maybe he used the cultivation technique.’
‘I should just try it, the system could make a book appear out of thin air. If it wanted to kill me, it would be very easy for it so I don’t think that the cultivation technique will harm me.’
With that thought, Sofia decided to start cultivation.
In the other room, Dan was glad that Sofia ‘bought’ the book.
Right after Sofia bought the book, the system asked Dan a question.
[Should I make it so that every user can get the cultivation book from the store for free?]
‘Yes, do it.’
Dan decided to earn some UP points now that he had a way to earn it.
He started to make some healing pill and not the spirit gathering pills because the spirit gathering wasn’t useful until a person actually got to level 1.
Dan made as many healing pills as he could out of the herbs that he had and had managed to make 25 of the pills.
In the morning, Dan decided to put the healing pills in the system as the administrator for 10 UP points each.
He also put a message saying that the price would increase after this batch of the pill was sold out.
