The Upgrade System - Chapter 55
“Ok, Can I leave the name of the technique blank for now?”
[Yes]
‘Another question. Why did you not give me the reward when the quest completed?’
[Because the reward didn’t help]
[Since the current world has very limited spirit energy, even if your cultivation technique is very good, you still wouldn’t earn more exp.]
[Right now no matter what technique you use you will only gain 0.5 exp/hour from just cultivating regularly. The only reason you get more exp is that you have the cultivation orb and you always use the spirit gathering pills when cultivating]
‘I knew that. You told that to me when I first started cultivating on earth but that still isn’t an excuse to not give me my reward and now that I think about it doesn’t it mean that the reward for that quest is useless to me?’
[It might be useless to you now, but not in the future]
‘Ok, I guess that is true.’
‘I have 15 more UP points because Sofia bought some healing and spirit gathering pills making it so that I have a total of 115 UP points. I should probably upgrade somethings and sell them for more points.’
Dan slept for the night and when he woke up the next day, he decided to go to a couple of shops so that he could buy something that a girl could wear every day.
Dan decided on buying a small golden bracelet that costed around $50,000.
After buying the bracelet, Dan decided to go ahead and go back home.
After getting back, Dan decided to upgrade the bracelet which costed him 5 UP points.
[Item: Golden Bracelet]
[Level 1]
[Duribility: 10/10]
[+1 Aglity]
[Upgrade cost: 10 UP points]
[Successful Chance of Upgrade: 90%]
[Current UP points: 110]
Dan upgraded the two more times which cost him 30 more UP points which both succeded.
With the new upgrades, the bracelet had a total of 3 attributes.
The new attributes were +3 strength, +1 agility, and +4 defense.
‘Now that I think about it, I spent 35 UP points to upgrade this bracelet which is equivalent to 35 million dollars. If I add regular people to the system, how will they afford anything?’
