The Vampire Prince And His Pet - 3 Chapter 1
Year 1502: Bulgaria
Ezra Caine sat quietly outside in the garden with his family, his eyes narrowed into a book about Roman culture. What utter lies, he thought. Disgusted with the boredom he found in the novella, he put it down and glanced at his family.
They were peacefully playing in the garden, his youngest sister Lilith chasing after his oldest sibling Victoria. Lilith was at a steady age of 200, though her mind still child-like. She would be about the age of 5 if human.
“Come play Ezra!” Lilith giggles happily to see her older brother finally put his book down. Her bright blonde, almost white, curly locks swung in the open breeze as she zigzagged through the maze. It was almost as eye catching as her deep red eyes, signaling that she was of pure royal bloodline. They all were.
His eyes wandered over the rest of the garden with blooming flowers and sprouted weeds to finally land on the ocean that lie over a cliff. This was the normal life for a Vampire Prince which he grew tired off.
“Oh do come over and be with your sisters.” His mother chimed in. She had appeared behind him, picking up her corseted gown to step onto the grass. “Our lunch will be arriving soon.” She added with a smile that revealed one twinkling fang.
“Lunch?!” Lilith perked up from the middle of the garden, using her intensified hearing to eavesdrop. She giddily ran down to her mother, hopping the stepping stones as she went with Victoria treading behind.
His mother, Elisabeta, sent a hand gesture signal to the maidens standing by the corridors. They bowed their heads and left the garden to come back with a young girl. Her hands were pulled behind her back with a set of ropes.
“Oh mommy she looks delicious!” Lilith clapped her hands but Elisabeta gave her one single glare. “Now dear Lilith please do not be so desperate.” With her mother scolding her, she went to stand next to her brother. She straightened her elegant dress and placed her hands together in front of her.
“Sorry, mother.” She said.
Elisabeta ignored Lilith and ushered the girl to walk over. She was wearing a satin white sheet over her body, quite see through. Her breasts and body exposed underneath. “She was delivered from our dear friend, Duke Alessandro from the Mobley Kingdom.” She was guiding the girl by the ropes, pushing her knotted hair away from her bare neck.
“It is a peace offer to you, Ezra.” He didn’t look amused. Mobley was filled nothing but half-breed vampires that didn’t know how to behave. He chuckled softly and stood up from the stone Gazebo.
“She is untainted.” His mother smiles once more. Untainted was another word for never has been bitten.
“Dear Mother.” Ezra walked up to the young human girl and touched her cheek with his slender fingers, pricking her cheek with his sharpened nail. “Tell Alessandro that he may come pick up his worthless garbage.”
His mother sighed, “Suit yourself.” She looked at Lilith and Victoria. They willingly came to the young girl and began to devour her. The young girl screamed in agony that made Ezra roll his eyes.
“Such class.” He raised his brows to widen his eyes to annoy his blood-thirsty family.
“Don’t be a prude.” Victoria pulled her mouth away, licking her stained lips. “Go away if you must.”
Ezra placed one of his hands in a pocket and walked through the open corridors that led to a large opened area. Glass iridescent windows circled the room to finish with a dome top. Five tall, hand carved thrones sat on the far end on-top of a lifted stage.
He stood in the center, lips curling into a smile. “Finally, you’re back.” He rotated his body enough to greet the vampire.
