The Vampire’s Love for Mankind - Chapter 7

Ansir was extremely close to me. In the blink of an eye, the pressure that belonged to him froze, and his anger subsided.
Ansir frowned. His gaze slid slightly to the side and finally stopped on my neck. His burning gaze looked like it was going to burn through my skin and bite through the veins hidden under it…
His hot breath crept up my neck like tiny ants. I felt numb from head to toe.
Groaning, I tried to break free of his grip.
“President Ansir, please let go of me!” However, under the suppression of his aura, my voice sounded soft and even a little coquettish.
“…” Ansir did not respond. His eyes narrowed slightly, and his dark red pupils became redder as his breathing gradually quickened.
He slowly opened his cherry-like red lips, revealing his sharp fangs.
I sensed something was wrong with him. From the moment his anger dissipated, he seemed to have lost his mind, dazed and excited.
He gripped my throat, his fingers rubbing against the artery at the base of my neck. My entire body went limp, and I couldn’t quite stand still, forcing me to lean against the wall behind me. A strange longing welled up inside me…
But at the critical moment, I thought of Grampy. He’d once told me to be careful of vampires. They were best at attracting and confusing humans, drowning them with beauty and gentleness, then ending their lives instantly.
The next second, I came to my senses. I ignored the rules and kicked his calf.
“President Ansir, I’ve passed the undead room test. Please abide by the agreement and let me go immediately!” I repeated in a more firm and sincere tone.
“Silence!”
Ansir frowned in pain, and his eyes finally regained clarity. He exhaled a mouthful of turbid air and tried to regulate the agitation in his body.
He stared up at me, gripping my chin, his eyes roiling with color. “You’d better stay put.”
“President Ansir, please let me go!” I repeated nervously, afraid that he would take another step.
“Shut up!” He seemed to be struggling against a certain desire in his heart, and his eyes became even strangely redder.
I looked into his bloodthirsty eyes. I knew that if I didn’t do something, I would become a dried corpse!
So I ignored Ansir’s order and kicked him fiercely again with my legs that could still move.
My resistance only made Ansir angrier. He tightened his grip on my chin as if he didn’t understand why I was resisting. How dare I resist?
In his eyes, humans had to submit to vampires, ready to contribute their blood or even their lives.
“Despicable thing, you’ve challenged me time and time again. Do you really want to die that badly?” Ansir suppressed his anger and lifted my chin, forcing me to meet his gaze.
His gaze was so close and his eyes were so intimidating that I couldn’t move.
“Your Highness Ansir, I hope you understand that you’re going back on your word now! I’ve already completed the test of the Undead Room according to your request. You should let me out!” I forced myself to follow his gaze, not avoiding it at all.
Ansir, however, suddenly smirked and smiled, not at all bothered by my anger.
In the next second, he buried his face in the crook of my shoulder, his moist breath on my neck. He turned his head and licked my skin, using his long, sharp nails to lightly scratch my carotid artery. His gaze was hot and crazy. In front of him, it seemed like a precious piece of art from the last century.
I felt as if all the blood in my body was about to freeze. After flipping through my mind, I thought of a sentence. “Your Highness Ansir, if you suck my blood, you will violate The Symbiotic Theory!”
But Ansir only traced my veins with his tongue, making me shudder.
“The Symbiotic Treaty… so what?”
Desire was something that could cause one’s rationality to deviate from its path. It had no boundaries. It could easily make humans and vampires forget about themselves, and their souls would willingly sink into depravity.
Clearly, desire took complete control of Ansir at that moment. His eyes were filled with an unusual thirst for my blood.
“If I bite down from here, your blood should be enough for me to drink to my heart’s content.” His cold voice carried a hint of teasing and coercion.
“…”
“Little imp, I want you.”
When I heard this, my eyes widened, and in the next second, I struggled intensely, trying to wake him up. “No!”
I felt his teeth about to slash my skin. Just then, a harsh female voice said:
“Ansir, let her go immediately!”
I looked in the direction of the voice and saw two people. The first one to arrive was a beautiful woman in a red dress. Her fair face was so beautiful that it made people gasp in surprise. It even made me forget about my dangerous situation.
The person behind her was Herbert, whom I had met before. He was as cold and gloomy as ever, and his face was as beautiful as ever. It was just that being overly serious always made one feel distant.
I admitted that I was relieved to see them, and felt that I was saved.
