The Villain’s Light - Chapter 106
Although Rhash badly wanted to punish the ‘perverted bastard’, he still has a really big soft spot for Reif
He doesn’t have the heart to punish him severely after he saw how ‘apologetic’ Reif was
It feels like seeing your kid doing something wrong and bad but as soon as they apologize and you saw how cute they were, you wouldn’t be able to take giving them a big punishment
However, Rhash still wants to give him a punishment. As a result, he moved his head to the side to prevent himself from seeing Reif
“I’ll give you a severe punishment later but for now, I’ll give you the minor one” Rhash started and Reif almost smirks again
His acting didn’t fail him. With a little bit of tweak here and there, he would surely be able to make Rhash forget about the big punishment
His big brother still really loves him. Although it was not the kind of love that he wants the most
“For your small punishment, our trip would be over for now. We have to continue moving. With how the church is acting, we don’t have much time to go on leisure vacations anymore. We don’t have a choice but to go and fight again” Rhash said seriously
As much as Reif does not want to agree with that, he still does not have a choice but to nod his head
Even if he doesn’t want to admit it, Reif also knows that they have to deal with the church. Maybe if Nath dies and the church was destroyed, the unknown force that was controlling this world wouldn’t be able to do anything more
Only then would Reif be completely free. As such, to make that happen, the both of them have to fight, a lot
“What’s the plan big brother?” Reif asked. Although he has some idea about how to continue, Rhash is still much better at planning compared to him
His big brother would surely be able to think of a much better plan than him
“We will go back in the Mesha City” Rhash replied and with a flick of his fingers, his clothes changes
Earlier, he was wearing a simple bathrobe but now, he uses his own blood to make himself some clothes
From neck to toe, his clothes were red in color as they were made from blood. In Rhash’s back was a cape and to his front was a simple leather armor-like protection along with a pants
Since his clothes were created from his own blood, Rhash would have an even greater defensive capability compared to normal clothes
As much as Reif wants to continue focusing on the current topic, his eyes still darkened after seeing Rhash
Whatever his big brother wears, Reif would always think that it suits him. He already had an urge to attack Rhash again
Too bad that he couldn’t do that if he does not want to die
“In this world, aside from brainwashing and converting all the people in the world to be his believers, there are only three things that Nath greatly needs” Rhash said seriously
Those three things are the ones that Nath would surely have to obtain no matter what
“I am talking about the three Shards of Brilliance. The first one is already in your hands, the second one is in someone’s hands in the Mesha City. The third one, I don’t have an idea where it is”
“Obtaining the Shards of Brilliance was the fastest way Nath could improve his strength. If we want to prevent him from getting stronger while also increasing our strength, we have to take the second shard of brilliance”
“Even if Nath were to obtain the third one, as long as we have two, we would still have a great advantage”
Nath’s power at his peak was inferior to Reif at his peak. Only with countless people’s sacrifice did he won against Reif
If Reif’s power was even boosted by the Shards of Brilliance then even if they were fighting against the whole world, they might still win
“Mesha City huh… I guess, 1 of the three biggest cities in the world would vanish soon” Reif muttered
He still remembered how it was the people in the Mesha City that first persecuted him and his big brother
It was the place where the first rumors about Rhash and Reif’s evilness were spread. That city was like the stepping stone that Nath and the church uses to defame Reif and Rhash
Since that was the case, there is no need for that kind of city to still exist in this world. Well, even if Reif doesn’t have a grudge against them, they would still be destroyed if two powerful were to fight
“We should move as fast as possible. Can you teleport us in there?” Rhash asked and Reif nodded his head
With their plans decided, Reif also changed his clothes before opening a spatial portal
The two felt like they forgot something or ‘some people’ but they just shrug their shoulders at that
They completely forgot the two slaves that they left behind to have their private ‘honeymoon’

“Hey, how long do you think it would be before our masters come to take us?” Khaknur asked out of boredom to the only intelligent creature with him
“How could I even know the answer? I’m as clueless as you are” Agui replied snobbishly, irritating the little spider
If there are still other intelligent lifeforms with them, Khaknur wouldn’t even talk to such a person
Unfortunately, they were back to the cave where Khaknur was previously staying. Only a few remaining mindless spiders were left here
With all the things that happened to him, Khaknur don’t have time anymore to care about his minions
They survived as the spiders still have their basic instincts but there wasn’t a lot of them left anymore
The spiders only have a huge number but their individual strength was weak
After a long time with his masters, Khaknur don’t want to have much interaction with mindless spiders anymore
What he wants is to converse with other intelligent lifeforms. Too bad that Agui’s attitude is not exactly that nice
“Hmph, whatever!” Khaknur grumbled and the two of them stayed quiet for sometime when the little spider can’t take it anymore again
“But I’m so boooreeed” Khaknur whined tearily. Although things have been peaceful and safe just like what he wants, Khaknur now craves for something exciting to happen
“Sigh… agree” Agui replied. He doesn’t exactly like Khaknur that is much weaker than him but he still can’t help but agree with that
“If I’m still in my home, I could at least swim around my volcano” Agui muttered with a sigh
As Khaknur has the chance to go around the world and also enjoy some human culture with his masters, he kind of miss going outside
Unfortunately for Agui, he doesn’t have much chance to do that and the only thing he misses was his volcano
“What’s so good at doing something so boring? It was still better to go on towns or cities and enjoy what they could offer!” Khaknur said with a hint of being boastful
In his eyes, Agui is a rough uncultured monster that was incomparable for him. Although he mostly stayed hidden while inside human territories because of his appearance, he was still very well informed
Compared to the myriads of things that an intelligent society could offer, what was a mere volcano?
“Tsk, you just can’t swim in magma. You’re too weak to do that” Agui replied with a snort
Weaklings don’t have the right to belittle his favorite pastime
“Well, you don’t have taste buds to eat various delicious human foods!” Khaknur rebuked angrily. He knows that out of all of them he is the weakest but it doesn’t mean he wants that fact to be rubbed off his face
“What’s so good about that? I could just drink magma!” Agui argued causing Khaknur to be exasperated
“Hmph, there is no used to talking to you!” Khaknur said angrily and started ignoring the lava monster
Since they are both bored, Agui can’t help but speak. “Why don’t we visit a human society? That’s still better than rotting in here” Agui proposed
Although he doesn’t really have any desire to experience a human life, he doesn’t have anything else to do right now
His home was far from here and he don’t want to stay in a normal volcano. That is like an insult to him
“What?! No! I don’t want to, it’s dangerous!” Khaknur refused
Although he enjoys human society, he is still the old good him, a wimp. A spider that is so scared of his life he would rather rot in his cave than go outside
Unfortunately for Khaknur, it’s not like he could defeat Agui
Before Khaknur can react, there was already a rope of fire that wrapped around his legs that were dragging him away
“H-hey! What’s this? This is kidnapping, you couldn’t do this!”
